Quaint country-style atmosphere gave a home-feel. The staff at the reception was very friendly and efficient and spoke excellent English. The room was clean, the shower hot with plenty of water, so very welcoming after a long day’s driving. A highlight was dinner at the attached restaurant. The food was excellent and the portions much larger than expected. Breakfast was also good, with fresh croissants and rustic baguettes, fresh juice and a wide array of cheeses and spreads, though the selection of meat was very limited. But after the huge dinner, breakfast was hardly necessary!

Wifi in the corner room was very spotty, though it did work well in another room. Not all staff spoke English, but their cheery nature made that more charming than a problem.

The staff was very accommodating and the ambiance of the hotel provided for a very relaxing and unique experience.

Due to a large event at the facility, they did keep us up a little late with very loud music around 2:00AM. One would think that they would discourage this but apparently, it's a very popular "local" party location.

Totally pretty, comfortable suite, great breakfast room and lounge, fabulous restaurant. Great heated swimming pool.

I didn’t like that the outdoor bar was just outside our room, loud voices and thumping against my bedroom wall in the middle of the night woke me up and was a bit startling. Bar should be closed and non guests should vacate the property by midnight. There were a ton of mosquitoes tormenting all the outdoor diners the evening we ate at the restaurant. I am glad I had mosquito repellent, which I shared with neighboring tables. The young woman staffing the breakfast room was not helpful and did not keep the food stocked as things ran out. I still highly recommend this lovely hotel, pointing out negatives so management can remedy these few complaints.

From the friendly welcome to the quality throughout. Our room was spectacular and was so comfortable and without any question we will be coming back.

It was imaginatively constructed. Lovely room. Good breakfast. Location near Auto route so great stop for transiting to Spain/Portugal.

Le Barp is a small place and quite charming. We and our dogs had a warm welcome, a great evening with a nice dinner and a superb breakfast in the morning. Easy to find when traveling through France. Can really recommend this hotel.

fantastic room. we were travelling with our 2 kids and dog. staff was extremely friendly the room was great for the 4 of us, with a bunk bed for the two kids and a normal one for us. with still space for the bench of our border collie.

Nice location on our way to Spain - with terrace and swimming pool where you could enjoy a meal or drink. Onsite parking and pleasant room.

The accommodation was comfortable even on a really hot night. The pool was welcoming. The restaurant was good.

Need to address the slight drain smell in the bathroom.
