Hotel is made in very nice design, breakfast was great, we had cool view of port, but check in was crazy long, we waited more like 30 minutes, and every guest takes around 7-10 minutes just to check in, and I did not appreciate that we had to deposit some money on card in case we would not clean or damage something i really do not remember, that is not standard in hotels.

The location is very nice. Different to the city center and other areas, I felt very safe and the streets were somehow cleaner and not as busy. The room was very well lightened, spacious and well ventilated. The space, meaning the building, was also quite quiet, so I was never really bothered by any loud noises. It also had a cute small kitchen where you could potentially prepare something to eat - of course nothing to make fancy meals but it works.

Although I liked the location, I had a small issue with it being far from the center, so I was always dependent on one single tram. Nonetheless, that was never an issue and I was very comfortable with the location. There was one thing though, my room was cleaned only once, though they never asked me if I wanted at all the cleaning team to come and clean my room. I am not sure on what basis this is decided, but it would have been better that I was asked if I wanted to have my room cleaned and on what frequency.

Amazing design, and a brilliant location, as a nervous traveller it was easy when driving to Marseille to park at the Quai d’Arenc alongside, then use the brilliant tram to get in and out of the old port area. Tram every few minutes thanks to be on both line 2 and 3.

Same as everyone else, 300€ security deposit is ridiculous, and massively slows down check in as the staff have to justify it to every arrival. They’re quite clearly sick of it too, time to make a change Odalys. Breakfast we didn’t go for but 18€ seems excessive, and isn’t served in this building.

Spacious sunny apartment with large windows and nice design. Quality bedding and well supplied kitchen. The wellness area is a nice bonus (hamam, sauna, small pool) after a day of walking.the restaurant behind the hotel was very good if one wants to eat close.

It does not say anywhere on site that the building is between two suspended highways (some pictures are taken from angles without this detail) and not close to the center, it takes half an hour walk. The 82 bus runs only every 30 min so you need advance planning to get to and from the city or just accept the extra walking.

The room I had was like a studio apartment - small kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, everything you need except a washer/dryer. Breakfast is served next door, and the rooms are made up every day. There's also a balcony with a sitting area, very nice for summer evenings.

The French are very aggressively against speaking English and that's the case here too. No problem at the reception, but everyone else is unwilling to use a single English word. Cleaning sometimes shows up at 8PM and just proceeds to speak French, even though it's the third time you're meeting the same cleaning person and they know very well you don't speak French.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to answer our questions and accommodate our requests. Despite the small pool, which was the only minor downside, we managed to relax and enjoy the wonderful saunas. Unfortunately, I no longer remember the name of the lady who was very helpful to us. She was very kind, petite, wore glasses, and had short black hair. A wonderful woman

The coffee wasn't replenished daily, but it wasn't a huge issue. Overall, it wasn't a major inconvenience. For a short stay, I don't see many drawbacks. And maybe a pool is a bit too small for the size of the hotel.

Our stay at Odalys City was truly excellent. Since we arrived early, they stored our luggage in the luggage room without any extra charge. To get to the city center, we used the tram, which was a 4-minute walk away. It took us about 10 minutes to reach the center. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom had everything we needed and was extremely clean. The only issue I had with the hotel was the deposit fee they charged at check-in. It was higher than the cost of a one-night stay. Although it was mentioned in the email confirmation, it was written in such a small section that I didn't notice it.

The location is very convenient—near a tram stop, with a parking garage and some good restaurants next door. The lobby was nicely decorated and the room was clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. A nice place to stay for a family. The sauna and steam room were nice, but the wellness area was not well thought out (see below).

The 300 Euro damage deposit seems unnecessary for a hotel chain. Make sure you’re aware that they also charge extra to clean the kitchen if you don’t leave it clean. The pool was very small. It’s a nice bonus, but don’t book this place specifically for the pool or wellness area. The hotel is relatively new and the staff seem to still be getting used to the logistics of running the hotel smoothly. They ran out of towels while we were there, for example.

Hotel od very well located, close to the port, Le Panier and in the area that felt safe. Great design of the building and apartments that feel very spacious and have great view. There is an underground secured parking just outside the building. We liked wellness area with heated pool. Apartment was clean and well cleaned every day.

Kitchen could be better equipped, don’t plan a lot of cooking when you stay there. There is no dishwasher and kettle. They could have provided at least few coffee capsules for the coffee machine in the room but there was none.

In the vibrant tapestry of Marseille's streets, where the city's bustling energy sometimes overshadows its hidden charms, Rana at Odalys Hotel emerged as a beacon of light. Amidst the narratives often associated with Marseille, Rana's presence embodied a refreshing contrast. Her professionalism and multilingual prowess weren't just attributes; they were a testament to her unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction. Picture this: amidst the labyrinthine alleys and bustling squares, I found myself in a predicament—a lost phone in a city known for its hustle and bustle. Enter Rana, whose warmth and efficiency were a breath of fresh air. Not only did she resolve my situation with ease, but she also provided invaluable multilingual assistance, navigating seamlessly through various languages to ensure clear communication. And so, amidst the bustling streets and lively markets, Odalys Hotel in Marseille shines brighter than ever, thanks to individuals like Rana, whose dedication and warmth truly make a world of difference. In Rana, I found not just a receptionist, but a guardian angel amidst the bustling energy of Marseille—a testament to the transformative power of exceptional hospitality.
