The room was very functional: good bed, balcony, silent windows, airco, shower/bath etc. (only a mini fridge was missing). The staff was very supportive and in a good mood. Reception open 24/7.

The organisation could be more professional. E.g. more than 1 staff, scheduled breakfast time slots, more frequent re-supply..

Breakfast was great. Plenty to choose from. Reception were helpful, especially Reda who was brilliant with all he did for me.

Great location for train travel, and nice cheap restaurant right next door. Small room but fine for a night or two. Lounge area is great, as is breakfast. Would stay again.

Room size

I had an extra 3 nights before my group trip and the 4th night paid through the group tour. I got a small but comfortable room with a balcony (outdoor table + chair) on 4th floor facing the side street. Quiet, good light, fresh air. The bathroom shower is small, but luckily I am a small person, so it was fine for me. "Average " person would be very uncomfortable in that shower. The staff was very helpful and nice, the bed was very comfortable, I slept well ( came from San Francisco... after a very long flight). Nice breakfast, plenty of choices for me. If you walk out of the hotel and go left, there are many restaurant choices, good ones. (You are in France!) If you go right - there is metro Gare De Lyon, direct line - just a few stops to Le Mares, Hotel de Ville, or Notre Dame. I recommend it for single travelers (as I travelled alone).

really good location with transport lines nearby and easy access to the rest of the city. Felt it was a good location to be in and never felt that we had to compromise due to time. Also, very safe location to be arriving late never felt uncomfortable. The accommodation itself was really good for the price, clean and secure. I would just say that if you ask for your room to be clean still request new towels in our experience new towels were upon request but not standards. This makes sense as the hotel is trying to reduce its environmental impact, I appreciated that they were eco-conscious and encourage guests to do the same.

It’s in a great location, close to Bastille and with metro links only 5-10minute walk. It was typical Paris hotel with teeny tiny lift, narrow corridors and spiral staircase. Loved the little balcony. It was clean, the bed was comfy and very warm considering the cold temperatures outside.

Nothing really, it is a nice budget hotel (Paris is expensive hotel wise). The shower is small (but my boyfriend is 6ft4 and that’s to be expected of this type of Parisian property). I found it odd that there was a sign about being environmentally conscious and then the cleaners changed the soap each day - where do all those soaps that have only been used a few times go? You can hear noise from the corridors which didn’t affect us but the cleaners could let the doors close more softly as they banged quite a bit when they were in and out cleaning rooms.

This was a very convenient location snd reasonably priced with good value. We stayed there twice in fact when we started and finished our trip to Paris. We especially liked room 56 on the top floor with a nice little corner balcony. The room was comfortable for our purposes, clean and even had a small tub & shower combo. The staff was very nice. As a plus there’s a very good coffee drink machine no charge 24/7. The attached photo is a view from room 56 balcony which had a small table & chairs.

This is a nice clean modernised hotel close to Gare de Lyon but not too close either. Our room on the 6th floor had a tiny balcony with views over the main street and Hausmannesque Parisian buildings. It was high enough to sleep with the window open and though there were a few late night rowdies early in the morning we were able to get back to sleep owing to the comfy bed. A bonus was the window in the bathroom allowing cross ventilation.

There was a cupboard thing on the wall that left no space to get around the foot of the bed, but it's a minor issue.

Location, Location, Location. It’s in a perfectt location; a couple of blocks from the Gare de Lyon but far enough away that it isn’t unduly affected by all the tourists and travelers attracted by the station

The room I was in was not designed very well. It was clean and OK except that a sheving unit hung over the dnd of the bed and invited contact with mt head.

Breakfast was very nice, lots of options, and Bella was brilliant helping in the dining area. The staff in the hotel overall were excellent -- very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at 9Hotel again if I am able to come back to Paris.

The lift could have been bigger but that's not a big deal...but we did struggle up to the third floor with big bags and two people. But really, not an issue to address.
