First of all, I’m thankful to the staff for letting us check in an hour and a half early because it was pouring and we were soaking wet. We appreciated the comfort, peacefulness and cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms are decent sized with very nice looking, modern bathrooms. We were able to get good sleep every night which was very important to us. The daily cleaning with two complimentary bottles of water provided were a life saver. The overall atmosphere is very professional and pleasant. Breakfast was just superb, with plenty of choice and variety. Each morning it was hard to choose what to eat. Being right next to Gare de Lyon was cool, besides the metro, there were also some useful shops there.

The location and the vibe of the hotel are not ideal for a honeymoon. A side detail: the possibility of getting a pair of simple, cheap slippers would improve the room experience a lot since walking barefoot after a shower is a bit unpleasant.

The location of the hotel is great, close to the gare de lyon and the surrounding offers nice walks. The hotel decor is very nice as well and the staff were very friendly. The room was quite large with a nice bathroom, which was very clean. The room was also air-conditioned.

The room could have been cleaner, the floor had dirt and there was a tissue under one of the cabinets. Also there was hair under the bottom sheet and mattress cover.

Excellent breakfasts, truly amazing. Such variety and high standards. Close proximity to the International train station and metros. You can walk with luggage so easily. Many nice restaurants near the hotel and large supermarket is very close. We came to run the Paris Marathon and the staff went out of their way to provide us with many extras to make our marathon preparation easy- like catering for us at breakfast with special meals without us even asking for this and for providing extra food and water, sweets and fruits to take with us to the start. They really looked after us so well. The rooms were a nice size and super clean with good WIFI. The bathrooms are smallish but you can see recently renovated. The beds were the BEST. The hotel safe in the room was handy for our laptop with a charging point inside the safe and the hotel was super clean. I will stay again.

The location was great but the area is not the best, a little run down in some places. But I think this is what you get when you are near large train stations worldwide..........

From the minute we walked into the lobby we noticed how clean the hotel was. It smelled so fresh, it was well decorated, and furniture looked comfortable and brand new. Our receptionist was knowledgable, informative, and welcomed us to Paris. Before we even saw our room we felt right at home. The room itself was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The bathroom was sparkling and the shower was huge with excellent water pressure. The bed was spacious, pillows were plump, corridors quiet, and I had the best 3 nights sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. From cleaners, bar staff, to receptionists, every staff member we met greeted us with a smile and were very approachable and kind. Located within walking distance of the beautiful Jardin des Plantes, Place de la Bastille, and the Bastille & Gare de Lyon metro stations, the Holiday Inn was in the perfect place to stay in Paris; away from the hustle and bustle but just a quick jump on the metro to wherever you need to be. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family travelling to Paris in future, and I look forward to staying there again. Thank you to all at Holiday Inn.

The hotel presents a balance between comfort, cleanliness and price. Tovels and bed were clean all the time. I can say that most of the people will definetely like the breakfast. (I dont know her name but I send my greetings to the sweet hardworking madam who prepares breakfast pieces because of her smile and 'bonjour' every morning.

I didnt see any negative aspect during 3 nights. Maybe you need to spend some time to go Louvre, Eiffel etc... from there but the hotel is near to the Gare de Lyon or underground transportation, so no problem.

Location close to Gare de Lyon, with several public transport options. Nice and simple design, a bit outdated at some points but in general it is worth the price. The bed was really comfortable, we had a Bluetooth connection next to the bed for music, and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. An ironing board and iron was included in the room which was very useful. We also received a room upgrade upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise and had storage space for our luggages before departure as we had a late flight.

Just a tiny thing, two glasses for water would be useful beside the mugs in the room.

the location is great, that was not the first time i visit and stay in the same hotel, and definitely i will do it again! My favourite place to be. Very easy access to everything, metro and big train station next to the hotel, everything you need is around.

On arrival, the staff were amazing. They were super accommodating as we were a group of 6 arriving at different times. They were so patient with us. We had fabulous rooms. Couldn't be happier. As we were there to take part in the Paris Half Marathon on Sunday 05 March on race day staff very kindly allowed us a later check out so we able to come back to the hotel and shower before heading home. We all really appreciated their kindness. We are planning to come back for the 2024 Marathon and will most definitely be staying there again. great location, lovely room. excellent staff that was really helpful. our room was ready early and we were able to check in early which was nice. we got an accessible room.

Stayed with family in 2 rooms (on the same floor) for 1 week. Good hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms, tasty breakfast and great location - 4 minutes to the Gare de Lyon metro line 1 (to the city center), RER A line (to Disneyland) and 10 minutes to the Austerlitz station RER C line (to Versalles).

Rooms that we have received on the 7th floor were not so big and comfortable because it is a roof floor. In our case it was a minor disadvantage because most of our time we dedicated to travelling in the city.
