Location - The hotel is located close to the Basille area and close to a metro station so the location was great, lots of restaurants and bars close by. Staff- the staff was extremally friendly and helped us planning our days and dinners - thank you for that! Rooms- very clean, renovated rooms with comfy bad and a great shower

The rooms are a bit small, but I guess it is like that everywhere is Paris.

There was a very friendly welcome from all the front of house staff (Marie and Tarek) at reception and the breakfast buffet staff. Tarek was very helpful with a problem we had with phone chargers and saved the day. The location is perfect for Gare de Lyon (5 minute walk) and there are cafes nearby for drinks and snacks. Notre Dame is a half hour walk. The breakfast buffet is of a high quality.. Only eggs and sausage for hot choice but plenty of cold choices (meats, cheeses, tomatoes, fresh and dried fruits, cereals, yoghurts, bread, pastries etc). Also freshly squeezed orange juice. The breakfast is 18 Euros. The decor is elegant and chic throughout the hotel. The room itself was spotlessly clean, had very comfortable beds and a beautiful shower with good quality toiletries and towels.

The only downside is that the room was a little small, but we were only staying for one night.

A 5mins walk to Gare de Lyon for trains to Provence, similar distance to Quai de la Rape metro for a direct service to Gare du Nord. Bars and restaurants in the area, though none stood out. Easy access to Jardin des Plantes across the river, or the Coulter Verte for a traffic free stroll. Very comfortable bed. Nice design touches around the hotel.

Rooms were compact (even a superior) and the shower room was tiny. Okay for a night, but not a long stay. Breakfast was a well-tended continental buffet, but nothing exotic for those seeking a healthy option (no kefir or unprocessed yoghurt, no berry fruits, no nuts or seeds, etc).

Heloise on reception was exceptional- nothing was too much trouble. The property was up to date and in very good order. There was a small pleasant sitting area in the foyer with newspapers and magazines which can be unusual in a city hotel, also a bar and attractive breakfast area. I was surprised to find a very small gym area and sauna also. The location was ideal for us as we needed to be near the Gare de Lyon. it’s also an area that is not too pricey - I recommend the Cafe de Lyon on the corner for very reasonably priced cocktails and food. But there are also more gourmet type restaurants near by (Rue Charonne for example). The viaduct walk is really handy - taking you to the Bois de Vincennes - really recommend that. Our bathroom had a bath - great! and was a good size.

Not much to say here - the room was a bit of a squeeze but, again, it’s a city hotel. On our second day (of 2) our room was very late being cleaned and various consumables were not topped up even though I left a note (soap, tea, milk). I did not take this up with anyone and I’m sure they would have dealt with it if I had.

The location was ideal for an early departure from Gare de Lyons. We liked the decor, it was individual and arty, with good air-con. Our room was very clean and cool. The female staff member who met us at reception was friendly and helpful, and so were all the people we met later in the day. It was a short walk to the Seine to sightsee and there were plenty of restaurants near the hotel to choose from. The breakfast was very good, with great choices of continental breakfast, coffees, breads, fruits and juices, all really fresh and delicious. It exceeded our expectations, and was served in a lovely breakfast area. The road parallel to the hotel, Rue Cremieux, was very pretty, and worth a look.

All was really good.

Hotel Riesner has a perfect location with loads of public transport options as well as very nice eateries nearby, we stayed there for an event at Arcor Arena. We were a bit early but due to the rain the staff (thank you Marie!) were very accomodating and got us into our room early so we could dry up before exploring the city further. The rooms are very nicely designed as our all the public areas and everything is very nice and clean and easy to use.

The bed was a bit short for my partner. for me it was fine however, and the aircon blew straight into the bed but that was thankfully blocked out once you closed the curtains for sleep. Would have liked to been able to shut the cold air off completely but this didn't seem possible.

I really enjoyed my 2-night stay here. Staff was super helpful and nice - particularly Heloise, who checked me in and arranged a taxi for the morning I was leaving. Chose hotel because it was close to Gare de Lyon, where I was arriving late in day. Room was small but comfortable, and since it was Easter weekend, there was treat-filled chocolate hen waiting for me on the bed. First time staying in the 12th and I would definitely stay again. Easy enough to walk to different sites - took me about half-hour to walk to Notre Dame and Ile de la Cite. Also public transpo nearby. If you're in the mood for Italian food, recommend Restaurant Le Pellicano, which is a short walk away.

Everything was fine. I can't think of anything I didn't like.

The location was superb - the hotel itself was located on a really quiet small street and all the transportation means were easily accessible from the hotel. We didn't have breakfast but it looked delicious and more than enough. Our room was quite small but it had everything for a comfortable stay. The waterfall shower was a nice touch.

The walls were maybe a bit too thin so the movements of other neighbors were very well heard through the walls.
