This was our first time visiting Paris. We are a family of 3 (2 adults and one 12yr old boy). After much research and discussions with others who have visited, we found and booked this hotel. Having a good experience was vital for a successful trip. We found the location of this hotel excellent. Only 5 mins walk to the Louvre, and a wonderful 25-30 min walk to the Arc or the Eiffel tower. The walk allowed us to experience the streets of Paris. The room (1 queen + 1 pullout chair/bed) was bigger than I expected. Quiet room with very little noise (if any). The bathroom had all the amenities include full tub and shower. It even included a small beverage fridge that is restocked daily (at no additional cost). The service was great for a family. The people spoke multiple langs including English, and were very helpful. Helped us with bags, extra water when needed, and help with directions or just general questions. The family areas, including the open-bar (non-alcholic) after 2pm was perfect for us, for when we returned from our day sight-seeing, or just wanting a snack. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Paris, wanting to stay close to the Louvre area. I would stay again.

Really hard to find what I didn't link. I did find it a little pricey but I think this is what you can expect for Paris, in this location.

Our 4 night stay was mine and my husband's first trip to Paris, and it was during our 6th wedding anniversary, so was extra special. The staff were all very kind and helpful with any request. They called a restaurant we were late for, they heated up some leftovers for me on our last night, and I saw them treat everyone well and patiently. The hotel is next door to one of the best Japanese ramen places we have ever tried, called Ryukishin- so good! We were in the middle of "little Tokyo", which had many restaurants. Paris is a bit expensive, but we knew that going in! We were about a 10-15 minute walk to The Louvre, Opera house, river Seine, and a lot of shopping. Highly recommend this hotel for fist time visitors, or anyone who doesn't want to walk/taxi/train/bus to major attractions. Merci beaucoup to the staff! I didn't get everyone's names but shout out to Seyil!

The only two things that were less than perfect were the loud slamming of doors in the morning from other guests- maybe make all doors like ours was, slowly closing instead of a heavy slam? Also the radiators and heat were too much! Thank goodness for the ability to open a window which we did often, even though we turned off the radiators for the whole stay.

An EXCELLENT hotel. All staff was the best. Breakfast was great. Free food bar 2:00pm thru 2:am daily a nice convenience. Location was perfect, as well.

Location was unbeatable, excellent snack options at any time of the day, very clear hotel and nicely decorated, great breakfast included in our hotel fare and the staff was excellent, helped us with our metro pass pictures, answered our every need, etc.

The only thing we didn't like were how the showers were letting a lot a water out on the bathroom floor with normal shower use. Was worse when all 3 family members were showring in sequence, we had to use towels to mop all the water off the floor every time. Shower could be waterproofed a lot better.

Location: near a lot of subway lines and it’s just a short walk to a lot of attractions despite being tucked away on a quiet street Service: Staffs were all very helpful, friendly, polite and cheerful Room: Very clean and everything works well. Great that there’s USB point beside the bed and desk. love that there’s rain shower. I personally don’t like bath tub and it’s great that it doesn’t have one. complimentary snacks and drinks is available from 2pm-2am daily which is amazing! what’s even more amazing is that they have many other hotels around the city and you can go to any of them for this.

The breakfast buffet in the lobby was amazing! So were the snacks from 2pm to 2am. They had so many choices and options to satisfy anyone's hunger. Staff was attentive, stations and tables were cleaned quickly. The hotel was close to EVERYTHING! Such a great location and neighborhood. Anything you needed, you could find within 5-10 minutes walking or the metro to most major attractions.

The room was small and the ac was not that great-- it got cold but not cold enough. Wish it was stronger. Otherwise, perfect! Housekeeping was amazing and attentive.

Loved everything about this hotel! Amazing location surrounded by super nice cafes and restaurants, very safe, lively and extremely close to several main attractions. Hotel is very very clean, absolutely loved my small room and felt home. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always welcoming and nice: they even offered me an umbrella because it was cloudy and water for my travel to airport. Breakfast is really delicious too, great value for money. They also offer daily free refreshments (you can eat/rest at sister hotels too). I’ll definitely come back!

There is nothing not to like about the hotel

We stayed at 3 hotels in Paris over 7 days (stay away from AirBNB). This was by far the best hotel of the 3. All 3 hotels had an 8.0 rating or better on Booking.com. The other two hotels didn’t have functional A/C, but stated they did have A/c. The beds were subpar compared to Astotel’s. The breakfast meal provided at Astotel was excellent for families, and they provided a hotel shuttle to the airport. From 2pm to 2am they have snacks in the common area. They have a program to allow you to get snacks or drinks from sister hotels through out Paris. This hotel was easy walking access to the Lourve. They have many options for all kinds of food surround the place. There is a hand bag store on the street, we didn’t go inside, but they always had a line out on the side walk and a packed store). They also were beyond friendly and accommodating to the fact we had arrived at 12pm (room was ready). If you’re considering any other place, with equal or lesser ratings, and have doubt, Astotel Hotel will surely be your best bet. The Hotel Astotel is clean, secure, cool (temp) and style, and they had the best family room of the 3 hotels. The other hotel were located in the area of the Tower and the 15th Arr. We stayed at the Yooma Lodge and the hot water was out for 24 hrs of our stay. The AC didn’t work had to get a fan in our room, and the beds were not comfy. The La Patio Bastille was good for last minute cancelation and served it’s purpose, family room was small and A/C didn’t work well. Had a window to open in the court yard.

Hotel pics are deceiving! Most everything shown (beautiful wainscoting, crown molding, bedframes etc.) is wallpaper. It's not actual wood nor is the hotel adorned as depicted on the website which made me believe that what we were paying would be worth the cost bc of the details shown on the website (this was the most expensive place we stayed at during our 18 days in Europe). Also, note that you're in what may be considered Chinatown bc there weren't many authentic French Cuisine restaurants nearby but a ton of Asian food options which I failed to research before booking.

My sister and I had the best experience at this hotel. We were greeted by Seyil who was so friendly and helpful showing us around and explaining the facilities available to us. The hotel was clean and very close to the Louvre (a 5 min walk). The room was tidy and quiet at night with a fully stocked mini fridge that was restocked every day. We also had access to the free snacks in the lounge from 2pm-2am (something we have never seen at any other hotel). The staff were fluent in English and German (potentially more this was just the times I heard them speaking with other guests) so there was no language barrier and they were all extremely knowledgeable about the area. As the hotel was apart of a group of hotels we could also go into their sister hotels around the city and use their facilities if needed (again a great perk I've never seen before). Overall this was the best experience I've ever had at a hotel and would 100% recommend it to anyone staying in Paris!

The hot food for breakfast wasn't the best but this was all made up for by the wonderful selection of pastries, cereals, pancakes, breads etc.
