The proximity to Metro and Champs de Elysees, convenient distance from restaurants and shops. Walking distance from the Eifel Tower. Very beautifully decorated space, home away from home feel. Serviced and daily cleaned. Private with excellent utilities. The staff was fantastic and helpful. We couldn’t find booking to the Opera tour but the manager (Marissa) went out of her way to find us the bookings and have our tickets ready. She really welcomed us and made us feel at home. There was no rush to check out either. We’ll definitely be booking this place again!

Gym was overtaken by an exhibition. Would be nice if it was an exercise space only

Stunning flat with plenty of room and extras to make our stay easy and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful, especially with our many questions/needs. They found a place to keep our rented bikes safe, they helped us at every turn.

Nothing could have made this stay better. Although it is good to note that early morning cabs/ubers can be hard to find. Luckily we left a good amount of wiggle room and it did not impact our airport arrival time. Make sure to schedule transport back to the airport before hand if during high traffic times.

Clean, comfortable and spacious accommodations that was perfect for two people. We loved the decor and the cleanliness of the apartment. We had a view of the inner courtyard. The apartment complex was nice and quiet. Linens and amenities were high quality. There was a beautiful pool and spa on the premises. An added bonus was the maid service who cleaned our place every day and even did our dishes- better than an Airbnb! It was nice having a concierge and security at night. Location was great too- close to the metro, shops, restaurants, etc. It’s one of the best accommodations we’ve stayed at. We highly recommend the Black Door!

Nothing. Maybe having Netflix would be nice so that we had something to watch in English. But we didn’t really watch any TV. Too much to see and do in Paris!

I wish they had some salt & pepper in the kitchen. Just basic condiments so I don't have to go out and buy and use for only one time. Also, the hole where you stick your finger in to pull open the bathroom door has a sharp metal which punctured my finger. It bled - a drop fell on the bed cover, but housekeeping didn't change it the next day.

The location is wonderful, all the amenities in the room are great. Definitely would stay again

The carpet in the bedroom was quite dirty and the stain on the curtain did not do the room any justice. Besides that all was good.

Staff and team was very helpful and cheerful. Location was great. Rooms were spacious and had good natural light. The team also helped in arranging a bouquet and a bottle of champaign for my wife's birthday. the spa area was very well done and soothing after a long day of walks in the city.

Our room had some issues in the 1st 2 days, with respect to air conditioning and water pressure. The team shifted us to an alternate room and everything was great after that. Cost for the room i think was bit on higher side.

Great location in the city center close to the main attractions. Very quite and spacious, I think bigger than most in Paris! The stuff was extremely kind! 🇫🇷🤍

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Black Door in the beautiful 8th Arrondissement, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the black door, I was greeted with warmth, impeccable service, and a delightful ambiance. The location of the hotel is truly ideal, situated in the heart of the 8th Arrondissement. This central position allowed me to easily explore the vibrant streets of Paris, while also being within walking distance of several iconic landmarks such as the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near several metro stations, making it effortless to navigate around the city. The front reception was always available to help with Taxis. Our room was a one-bedroom suite with an elegant and modern design. The attention to detail was evident, with tastefully chosen furnishings and a soothing color palette that created a relaxing atmosphere. The room was not spacious in that it was separate from the living and kitchenette. It was also impeccably clean. After traveling for a month, I took great advantage of the washer/ dryer. It was also lovely to take a break from hotel living and cook a couple of evenings. One of the standout features of the Black Door Hotel and Apartments is the exceptional level of customer service provided by the staff. Every interaction felt personalized and genuine as if I was staying with friends rather than at a hotel. From the knowledgeable concierge who provided excellent recommendations, everyone went above and beyond to make my stay truly memorable. The amenities offered at the hotel were equally impressive. The hotel's pool, sauna, and hammam provided a wonderful respite. Whether you are visiting Paris for business or leisure, I wholeheartedly recommend the Black Door Hotel and Apartments. Its prime location and exceptional service create an unforgettable experience.

We asked for a bathtub, but sadly, they were all booked.

Very comfortable beds, excellent black out curtains and shower. A top sheet and light cotton blanket would be nice for shoulder season stays as the duvet (very nice duvet) is too warm for early October. We enjoyed having a good gym to use during our stay. Thank you. Staff are outstanding at the Black Door. We had a great 3 day stay. We recommend staying here.

Would like a information book in the unit for how to use washer/dryer, oven etc. We figured it out but would be helpful to have had instructions.
