I recommend it for people who have a short budget and who are looking place closed to the center. I was there with my family in a room designed for three people. It was a small but nice room clean and we had a private bathroom also it was pretty clean. location is very nice it close to everything also very close is a metro station which is going to everywhere actually. The staff was so nice, and breakfast I don't know how but they have really tasty croissant. I enjoyed staying there with my family.

I can't say it was so annoying but it seems the furniture and windows are quite old. (in my case does not matter I was only going there to sleep and the bed was enough comfortable to sleep). also, the windows are very old and it does not isolate properly and as it is the city center all night maybe you will hear the sound of the street it is a bit annoying. so overall if you want to chill and rest by staying at the hotel I don't recommend this hotel but if you want cheap staying clean and very close to the center and actually very practical, also nice breakfast in the morning I recommend it.

Location, helpful staff, nice french breakfast, everything was okay and working ( charging socket, TV, WiFi ). calm street, near of cafe , police station next door . Suitable for the budget to get a rest after your day

I read a lot of reviews about bed bugs and I was worry about it , but I didn't face any during my stay ( my experience ) it was clean enough , 3rd floor,room 26. The key of my room was not easy to use . ( not a big problem for me ) You can hear other guests in thier rooms . Shared bathroom is not the best but it is already mentioned when you book your room.

Well, after reading some of the reviews I was a little bit concerned about this Hotel. When I got there, there is a distinctive old smell, but I don't find it to smell bad, it's just old. My room was clean, toilet was clean, I didn't take a look at the showers. All of the facilities were working just fine, and no bedbugs in my room. For 2 nights I would say it's completely fine to stay here.

The only thing that's a minor - is the fact that when I arrived, I had to wait for half an hour for my room to be ready. Again, it's not a big deal for me, considering the room was indeed clean and all of the facilities were working fine.

The hotel is a quick walk from the gare de l'est, near various metro and bus stops and also not far from place de la République. The staff were all welcoming and the room was perfect for a quick stay in Paris.

The room had obviously been used by smokers and was a little stuffy - but I did not check that the rooms were no smoking so that is my error. There was only one coat hanger - we could perhaps have asked for more but made do. Our room was on the fourth floor and there is no lift - it is a beautiful old wooden spiral staircase with an air of romance. It was not a problem but I would advise people with mobility issues (or heavy suitcases) to ask to be on a lower floor. But otherwise, perfect, I would definitely stay there again.

Basic typically French hotel. But it had everything I needed for a one night stay. Guys at Reception very helpful and friendly. One of them spoke English. Inexpensive breakfast of coffee, croissant, bread, butter and jam was perfect!! If you want a cheap stop over for one night without all the frills then just the job. Close to Metro Chateau D'Eau. For me it was great value. If you want more, I suggest you pay double and go elsewhere. I shall definitely stay again. The staircase was fabulous and I was on 4th floor. Good exercise!

The reception was good. We arrived before check-in time and were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel. Our request for an extra bed was not met, but they allowed us to join two beds in the room, making it three (two adults and one child). The room was cleaned every day. The location is excellent. Breakfast is simple, but enough.

The shared shower in the 4th floor is not so good.

Nice staff, quiet hotel.

If you have bad luck your room is on the 5th floor without elevators. To leave your luggage on your last day it costs you 2 euro.

Excellent location and easy to get to places on the Metro. Friendly staff and tasty breakfast. Although facilities were basic they were adequate for our needs.

No extraction in the bathroom, thin walls and threadbare carpet. A simple makeover would improve the housekeeping.

Room was nice size and was clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good value for the location and room size!

I was on the third floor and the closest communal shower was down on the first floor. The shared bathroom on my floor lock was hard to use, and pillow in the room was to big for the pillow case.

Location is perfect, staff is frendly and glad to help,, beds are comfortable. Rooms are cleaned every day, I do not know what people expect from a low bidget hotel, but this hotel should be rated better that it is now on the booking.com
