We were looking for an cheep hotel appartamens with a private bathroom. This hotel gave us excellent value for money. All amenities, hot and cold water, linen and towels were clean.The staff was very friendly. It was not necessary to pay in advance, payment upon check-in.
The hotel is not far from the center, so the street is very crowded and loud until it's late at night, and the noise from the street can be heard in the room. If you plan to go to bed early, then this is not for anyone).

excellent location - walking distance from Gare de l´Est and bit further from Gare du Nord 100 m from nearest metro station plenty of small restaurants around hotel room like in 3 stars hotel (and this one was rated 1 star)
no lift (that´s why rated only like 1 star hotel) a club across the street (noisy on Saturday night)

The staff were beyond lovely! They helped us with all our queries and were happy to do so. Despite the language barrier, they were always very helpful.
The street is quite noisy and continues to be noisy into the night. Thankfully I’m not a light sleeper so it didn’t bother me much.

I booked as it was close to metro station. And yes it was only 20-30 meters from Chateau deu station. This station has connectivity throughout Paris.
It’s not a hotel. It just offers you stay. You need to find nearby restaurants for breakfast or any other meal. Rooms are too compact. But we didn’t mind as we were out of room till sleep time.

Hotel was in a good location. not a bad neighbourhood as said in other comments ( we were three girls),very close to the metro but also a busy street with many shops to explore. and good price for Paris

Busy shopping district in the day and nightlife later. Perfect if you’re looking for that and need a place to crash. Recommend for solo travelers or friends.
