The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. It was unseasonably cold in Paris so I was given a portable electric heater for my bedroom and that helped immensely. I was also given a room upgrade upon arrival so that I had a suite with a sitting room and bathroom and my bedroom was upstairs. The room was clean and very nicely appointed. I loved the shower. The hotel was very close to the Charonne metro, just a 30 second waalk.

We loved the location, hotel is very close to Bastille which has plenty of nice cafes, restaurants and wine shops popping up and a very vibrant, youthful scene. It is also at just 20' walking form le marais. It is extremely well connected with all main attractions in the center. Juan was very attentive and great at taking care of us. We really enjoyed breakfast even though we only had it once: would definitely recommend if you want to save a little money as it is excellent value for money at only 15 euros. Room was super clean and attended for very promptly. Street is very quiet even though it is in such a central position.

Not much went wrong with our stay here, cannot find any faults really. If I had to be picky I would say that the shower was a bit iffy, but still OK.

The room and the hotel itself are very beautiful. I have never seen that beautiful rooms before, rich decoration and arts throughout whole building. Bed was very comfortable, room had everything from the description. Moreover, I asked them to prepare a flower bouquet on my arrival, so they chose and bought the best bouquet for the amount of budget I said to them, personal thanks to the staff for their friendliness and kindness.

I was surpriced about the deposit of 150 euros on arrival since this information is a little bit hided from the customers on booking description, i would suggest to place it somewhere higher, but that problem was solved anyway. The hotel is not very in the city center, not sure about the prices in Paris, but I find this a little bit too high for that location.

Beautiful building, not far from the Bastille, with really friendly and helpful staff who tried everything to accommodate you and help you out. even bringing pots of tea to our room for an evening cuppa........quite an odd thing to the French apparently. The metro was a very short walk away and the hotel even helped navigate us on which metro to go on from GDN to the hotel when we arrived via Eurostar. Overall a fantastic stay and one we will return to.

It was a little bit further from the city centre than what I thought. That's my own doing and only really because we ran or walked everywhere everyday. Then realised how far it was when you try and walk from the arc de triomphe to your hotel via Notre dame and the Bastille 🤣🤣🤣.

Everything about our stay here was a success. Communication before we even arrived at the property was a 10/10. Timothee was an absolute joy to deal with and he really went above and beyond to ensure our stay in Paris was nothing short of exceptional. The property is only minutes walk from great eating and drinking spots, memorable cafes and most important the Metro making commuting a breeze. We cannot wait to come back to Paris and enjoy another stay with the team @ La Maison Gobert Paris Hotel Particulier.

Our room was bright, clean and bed was very comfy. We enjoyed the separate sitting area, especially since we stayed for 5 nights. The location was close to metro station and many walkable lovely restaurants and cafes. We are looking forward to our next trip to Paris and would definably stay at La Maison Gobert again. You won't be disappointed.

Adjust the hot water controls in bath - love hot water but found it difficult to control the temperature.

I have been on the road now for 10 weeks. This is only hotel that has truely impressed me. The bed was sooo comfortable, The room was beautifully decorated. The chair was even comfortable. The shower was a good size, the water pressure was great The welcome when I arrived to check in was warm, friendly & efficient. The information sheet for local offerings was appreciated The breakfast was exceptional. the portions were generous, the food was wonderfully prepared. The service was great. THe hotel was nice & secure.

Please note: this has not happened to me before..... I cannot find ANYTHING that I did not like. Actually, There is no lift.... But on reflection, Installing a lift would adversely affect the ambiance of this lovely building.

We have stayed here for 5 days and for us this guest house was the perfect choice. The subway is around the corner of the guest house. Our suite was on the second floor and it was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and there was enough space in the closet for our clothes and suitcases. The owner and staff are very friendly and try to make your stay very pleasant. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Thank you so much for taking good care of us, especially on our last day when we were invited by the owner to have Chinese tea in his beautiful tea room.

I did like like breakfast, but didn’t expect the same breakfast everyday.
