Location is top! Metro #9 just 2 steps from the door, shops, pharmacy, ... Beds comfortable, room cleaned every day, inner-yard view rooms perfect for nice breeze and quiet long night and morning sleep. We loved the place, we would come back again.

2 Double-bed room is a bit small for 4 but we stayed for 4 nights and it was ok. Maybe some additional storage area would be great. Breakfast had no fruit or meat, salamy.

Very nice staff and amazing location. Decent facilities, perfect for small stays. We loved the neighborhood (not very touristic).

The Hipotel proved a great home base for our six days in Paris, situated on Boulevard Voltaire at Place Leon Blum and just steps from the Metro station entrance, with many wonderful restaurants and other shops in the area. The rooms aren't large, but seemed quite a value in this expensive city. Without exception, the front desk and cleaning staff with whom we engaged proved friendly and helpful. Although not a spectacular view (of a small courtyard), we certainly appreciated being able to open the large window for fresh air. The small lift works well (but if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage, be aware there are a few steps up the circular staircase from the lobby). We'd gladly return here on a future trip!

The red vertical sign on the building says "Charm Hotel" beneath a Chinese character. We hadn't noted anything other than "Hipotel" in the materials and so experienced some uncertainty as we approached the area. Fortunately, the blue and white building number (132) is displayed prominently above the entrance door. I note this not as a criticism, but rather hopefully to help a future guest avoid any confusion.

The property is in amazing location ! Exactly outside of the hotel there is a metro station (number 9) and really nice and value for money restaurants like Chez Papa and Le Rey and even McDonald’s and supermarket! All these in less than a minute walking !!! More than that you are able to walk till Notre Dame (35 minutes walking approx) through a big road full of restaurants and some days an open air market !

There wasn’t breakfast included in the price, but even if you pay for the breakfast it’s not something special. It’s better to go outside to eat breakfast since the location of the hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants!!! More than that keep in mind that there is not so good sound protection but it’s not a big deal.

The service just an excellent, the lady gave really useful tips and recommendations, very very nice and kind. Also I asked in advance quiet room, because of sensitive of sleeping, I the room with backyard windows were really quiet. When something need to fix, the service was really fast and polite. Location is perfect, metro right in the corner and manageable to reach any popular place in Paris. I am highly recommend

the elevator is small, but was totally ok, if you need mostly drop your luggage, 2 people and one suitcase fit

Great location, good-sized rooms (especially for Paris!), everything you might need, including decent restaurants, boulangerie, supermarkets within 2 mins walk from the hotel. There was some noise from the room next door which was being redecorated, but nothing to actually disturb me in any way. The staff were friendly and the Wi Fi connection stable. I particularly appreciated my privacy being respected and, of course, how authentic the building itself is. Plus there is a lift!

The location was excellent. You couldn't really ask for more for the price. Vibrant area, near all amenities. Located next door to a metro. The room was ideal for 3 nights. Room cleaned daily, coffee/ tea provided. Staff pleasant. I would recommend this to anyone going to Paris on a budget. Luckily, we had a room over looking the cafés, and bars, which i loved. French windows opened up for a beautiful view at night.Might be a little noisy for some, but made the experience for me.

If you are expecting the Ritz on this budget, think again! Its basic, but you get what you pay for! Clean no frills and ideal to lay your head after a busy day sightseeing.

Hotel and room were the perfect option for our trip, cleaning was great, fresh towels every day, bed was comfortable and barely heard noise from the street. Exactly what you need after a long day visiting the city. The kettle was also a nice touch. Don't be deceived by the pictures here, reception and breakfast room have been updated. Staff was super friendly and the location is very good. Just off a metro station and has several options around for a simple meal or snack. Old building but very well kept.

Definitely not the Hotel or staff fault. Unfortunately we did get some loud people in the room next to us for our last 3 days. Old buildings don't have the best sound proof of course but this was just disrespect from those guests who apparently thought screaming at all hours of the night is okay. Staff were amazing and handled it right away.

The location of this hotel was great. Literally steps out the front door is the subway. The room had a small balcony which was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The shower had nice, hot water and good water pressure.

The internet was very very slow. I needed to video call for work and it was nearly impossible because the call kept dropping. I asked if they had high-speed internet at a cost, because I had read in their information packet that they did, but they told me that was only before the pandemic. They no long have high speed internet. Breakfast is not included.

The staff was amazing and the location was great. I will admit, as an American, I am used to American-style hotels and the space that they offer, so I was not thrilled about the tight spaces and small room; but since this is clearly an old building and in Paris, it was nice to have a room with a private bathroom, shower, TV, etc. It was also very clean. There is a subway station right outside the door, which was very convenient.

The room was very small, and with two beds, a desk, and a wardrobe, it was very tight.
