Excellent location - step outside, walk a few metres at you're at the Gare de Lyon. Spacious room/bathroom for Paris hotels. Good amount of storage space. Large television. Refrigerator. Friendly staff. The gym had all the equipment we needed.

1. The shower area could have been designed better - one has to step into a deep bathtub (might be difficult for some) and the shower water is difficult to contain, bathroom floor gets pretty wet. 2. No iron in room. 3. Limited Vegetarian menu and no Vegan options for lunch/dinner. Only had the breakfast buffet once: one can find some options at breakfast but was disappointed with overall quality of fruit/breads. 4. Coffee was not good.

We are a family of two adults and two kids. The location is extremely convenient. We did day trips to Disney Parks for two days and it was very easy. Also very easy to get to the popular places. Kids loved the swimming pool. Rooms were clean but the size of the room was a bit small. The big bed for me and my husband is very comfy. Overall not bad - I guess that's why we paid that much.

The size of the room was a bit unexpectedly small, given the price we paid. It is quite tight for four of us. We had things easily piled up in the room and it looked a bit messy. Two kids slept on two small single beds. Luckily our kids (10 and 7 years old) are thin and not so tall . Older or bigger-size kids probably won't feel comfortable with those tiny beds.

The location of the hotel is really good. It's close to metro and train station. There are good restraurants nearby, and it's a safe place. The rooms are big and clean, breakfast is good. The swimming pool is a big plus for the families with kids. The hotel has its own parking space.

There were some small problems in the rooms which we ignored as we stay for only 3 nights. The Kids playroom is so small and game console didn't get fixed although I reported it first day.

Breakfast was sensational with plenty of options, my daughter is gluten free and there was a lot of choice for her too. The pool is great and we found ourselves popping for a dip before breakfast and then again mid-afternoon when we came back from exploring Paris. The room itself was great, the TV had loads of channels so you could have a little watch when you wanted and the Air con kept the room fresh even during the hottest times.

The outside of the property is looking a little tired which lowers expectations as you approach but inside is great

Breakfast with too many people and we were asked to have a breakfast in the COWORKING space. The person that should clean the room take a towel from the ground and put it above sink instead of change it (and it was very dirty).

Our stay at the hotel was the best! Super easy to find and is in a great area with metro nearby and lots of cafés and restaurants and even a small supermarket across the street. The Kids Corner was a plus for my five year old to play while we had a few glasses of champagne at the bar. The hotel staff was super friendly and even assisted with making reservation at a local restaurant due to language barrier. In summary, THE best experience.

The only thing I can say was that on the weekend, the breakfast was full and there was a wait for a table BUT, the breakfast is ver complete with options for all so worth the money and the wait! Just plan ahead!

The location was excellent next to Gare de Lyon and the Metro. The staff at the desk were welcoming and efficient. Also, one staff (sadly, never caught her name) arranged for box breakfasts and a taxi for early the following morning - it worked out perfectly! The room was comfortable and clean. We were both able to sleep well. The breakfast had a wide variety of good quality food. Dinner was also very good. Staff at the restaurant were also welcoming and helpful. The overall location was very good - with the Metro so close, you could get around the city easily. Even walking the neighbourhood revealed some hidden gems (stores, cafes, laundry, etc.).

However, the plaza outside did become quite noisy at times but didn't interfere with sleep. The room had a stale smell to it which I suspect was the rug, although everything was very clean. There was no clock in the room. The bathroom design was awkward - minimal space to put out toiletries at the sink. Also, it was impossible to shower without making a big mess.

The Novotel is right at the entrance to the Gare de Lyon, so the location is unbeatable if you're catching a train there. But it's also close to the Seine, in an area full of restaurants and within walking distance to places like Place de la Bastille and the Jardin des Plantes. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a very good bed, a great bathroom and good amenities, much better than I expected from a hotel at a train station. It is, on its own, a really good place to stay in Paris. Windows may be opened, which, to me, is a great plus. Service was efficient and pleasant, and the breakfast was good quality and complete. It was nice that they were patient with those of us still eating after the official closing time of the breakfast buffet.

I can say this of very few hotels, but I really didn't encounter any problems or unpleasantness.

Convenient location to the train station (especially nice/easy to get the RER for our day at Disneyland) and restaurants. The room was a nice size for our family. I like it very much when a robe a slippers are available in the room. They also had a nice offering of a few cold drinks, coffee, tea and a small bag of nuts.

We found the room to be far too warm even with the window open (could only open about 10cm) and heating turned off. This is likely only a personal preference but for us made the stay a bit uncomfortable.

Coffee was exceptionally good and the breakfast was generous and varied and tasty. The lobby is beautifully designed and the room equipment was better than expected, a mini bar, a kettle AND an espresso machine

The room had a windows between the bed and the shower. As five people we had two rooms, three cousins having one of them and me and my day having the other, and shower time was always uncomfortable and one of us had to leave the room since we don't have THAT kind of relationship.
