The hotel has great location in the city centre. We had a small apartment in the building opposite of the main one. The apartment was very small but enough for 2 adults and one child. The price of the hotel and location was great compare to other properties in the area. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. The apartment was new and clean. We had 3 single beds, there was little shower room and separate toilet. We only stayed 3 nights. I think if we were there longer it could feel a little bit tight. Everyone was really nice and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel as we were out in the mornings.

It would be nice to have an additional mirror in the room and perhaps little extra storage in the shower room or shelf.

Auberge de la Commanderie turned out to be perfect for our needs. Cannot beat the central location, and yet the narrow street leading to the Auberge (lined by medieval precious buildings) was lovely and quiet. Friendly staff helped as much as they could, and we got a lot of valuable advice from the start. We fell in love with the village of Saint-Emilion, and when this happens over a stay of several days, it is almost inevitably also partly due to the well-chosen accomodation.

The only drawback was that, due to construction works in the next ancient building, the room's wi-fi connection was out of order. This was compensated for by us being able to "work" on the internet in the main hotel building's lobby.

The location was excellent as were the staff and breakfast. It had secure parking which was useful and cheaper than parking in the town.

The tv was locked out so you could not attach a hard disk or change the language so you only had french tv or bbc news. We had a large room but the end of the bed was very close to the desk/table area so if someone was sitting there they had to move if you needed to get past.

The price for the location is outstanding. The staff were lovely and breakfast very good too. Right in the heart of the town - and what a beautiful town it is…

We were in the annex and the room was a little tired. The aircon was too noisy to keep on at night and it seems the tiny cobbled road outside/below our window is in fact St.Emilion’s motorway. For a town that goes to bed about 2130 out if season a lot of cars (taxi’s) seem to speed up and down.

The location was really amazing. Walking distance to so many restaurants, shopping, and wine bars. Also, the building itself was amazing. So impressed how these centuries old buildings are updated to modern standards.

Driving in St. Emilion can be daunting with the tight streets, one-way streets, and pedestrians. Parking was also tight, but I guess we got lucky.

pleasant stay, in the heart of the upper city. Room was small but comfortable. A good place to stay to explore St. Emilion in the evening after the tourists leave. Found street parking free overnight just down the street.

The hotel was fine. we had a difficult time finding a good place to eat dinner, because when the tourists leave, everything closes!

Wonderful location at the heart of this beautiful town. Comfortable room and the simple decor was very pleasing. Excellent breakfast. We wished we could have stayed for longer

The wi-fi wasn't great in the annex where our room was located. It was somewhat noisy in the morning as traffic began to increase

Sensitively modernised hotel in a perfect location in the centre of town.

The need to pay €25 for parking far away from the hotel. The need to pre-book breakfast the night before.

The manager of the property was so accommodating. He helped us with so many of our questions and really made our stay there fantastic. The property itself is perfectly located and the rooms were spacious and clean and very comfortable. Best value for money for sure.

Comfort, size of room, quietness, location. Street parking is available. They made an excellent fun suggestion for a last-minute visit to a local winery that we loved. We loved the restaurant they made reservations for us at; it was memorable. Charming staff.

No complaints; can't think of anything.
