Hotel de l'Orangerie

The room was huge, the view very good, the breakfast could be better but still no complain, they bring it to your room(wow), the staff is amazing, very kind and gentle the room was very clean in general. I felt like a queen in that room.

The location is a little far from the center but really no big deal, the bedding could use a refresh they were kind of old. Still very clean but old fashioned and very used.

The hotel is located very closely to the European institutions located in Strasbourg. The main train station can be reached with the bus (in about 20 minutes). The city centre can be reached by bus or on foot as well (in about 30 minutes). The hotel is located closely to the Orangerie park. The location was quiet despite the proximity of the street. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was possible to use Wifi provided by the hotel without any difficulties. The breakfast was served duly in previously arranged time.

There was no shower curtain in the bathroom, therefore it was a little bit tricky to take a shower and not to spill much water on the floor at the same time.

The location is great, 15 min from old town and 3 min from wonderful Orangerie park. The rooms have their old charm, amazing view from the window and a small balcony. You have to leave the key at the reception area each time you leave. There is no parking in the hotel, but you can park for free near the park (receptionists will guide you)

The breakfast is served to each room and consists of some baguettes, butter, jam and pure.

This is an old hotel in a beautiful street. The room we were assigned was a smoking room, but that only meant we had an ashtray in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spotless clean. The personnel was polite and nice, they gave us recommendations for sightseeing and told us some urban anecdotes. A very pleasant experience.

Well the prices in the city are generally high.

Great location by the Orangerie Park. 10-15 min walk to old city centre. Lovely big family room, full of character.

We didn't order breakfast, thinking we'd pick something up in a local shop or cafe. There were none open when we needed them.

Perfect location for CoE and also walking distance to the centre. Clean and large room, comfy bed, bath and shower very nice. Breakfast wasn’t as much as I wanted but it was nice and the coffee was very good. Polite staff. Would stay there again.

Very friendly staff and a good location (Around 30 minute walk from the cathedral). The room was very clean and the neighborhood is quiet, the hotel is very close to a super beautiful park. Good value for money.

Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean and cozy. Location is perfect for business trips and not only. Glad to visit this hotel for the next time.

hair-dryer is too old and uncomfortable

A great location within walking distance of the European Institutions district. The hotel has an old world charm and a lot of character.

No air conditioning in the room, nor was I able to access a fan which was disappointing.

The hospitality from the hotel owner and staff was amazing. Extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful and caring. Gave great suggestions and took good care of the guests - even remembered our names before we checked in.
