Communal kitchen which actually strives to accommodate multiple guests AND, yes, staff actively routinely clear out the refrigerators and trash bins so the space remains clean and inviting. Good Wifi for my purposes. Able to leave luggage for safe-keeping. Free coffee & tea (and water) in the lobby throughout the day. Relatively uncomplicated check-in.

Overly chatty employees; whistling is something that ought never be done on the job around others. It's an annoying activity to everyone but the whistler.

Location is great. Quite place. The common area is very cozy. The room was clean.

The room was huge and there were 38 beds. I didn't expect that many. if you click on photo gallery, you'll see rooms with 6 beds, so as I expected. And only 1 bathroom for women. Creaking beds.

Top notch location and you could walk anywhere (almost), or catch public transport easy enough. A free tea/coffee at any time was particularly good. It did a breakfast which was not exciting but was adequate for the day. They just about ticked each box of available essentials. I prefer that than finding a place to eat out each morning. Staff were pleasant and helpful. A good atmosphere here of transient people, many young (others did appear to be out of their comfort zone here). Music was played all day, which was lower during the day and ramped up in the evening, which gave it a clubby feel as the lights went low too. Music was mostly modern music of many styles. I was OK with this, but if you prefer softer music, you wouldn't spend too much time in that area and would be up in your room.

They could have (more?) separated toilets from the showers, as people were in the shower for "ages" in the morning and all I wanted was a quick pee. The pillow was not what I would call a pillow, but sufficed. The room was dark and very difficult to read as the bed light was not working. Not that it's a bad thing - but it did have a few people there who seem to be using the communal seating area as an office. I was having breakfast next to a guy who seemed to be having a business "telephone" discussion and after I returned from a day out they were still there in the same place (every day I was there too) - Just to let you know of the vibe here really.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is ok. The location is excellent. Only 10€ deposit for the key /in Nice is 30 €/ and they give you a free towel, as well as a complimentary coffee/tea/milk.

The premise for the 24 people is spacious but there's no way to get fresh air except for a very little opening of one window close to the ceiling. It was very noisy sometimes - loudly speaking people with no respect for the others, but this is not the hostel's fault. Some people are simply missing the first 7 years/ have no manners and sometimes it was a bit too much when they were marching through our bedroom. For the two dorms /about 42 people/ they could have more bathrooms and restrooms but some days not all the beds were sold out so it was not so bad.

Amazing kitchen. Clean and organized. Great lounge with good music and good lighting. The staff is soooo nice. It’s very easy to meet cool people there. And then there is always free coffee and tea available. That was amazing. But my favorite thing was that they always had oat milk and agave nectar out for the coffee. I’ve never seen that before, so as a vegan, I was sooooo happy. Also there were so many vegan options for breakfast (meat, cheese, etc, etc). Really great vibe.

I would recommend that they add more extension cords in the rooms because we only had 2 outlets for 5 people, and I had to keep my phone on the floor even though I was in the top bunk. An extension cord up to my bunk would have been nice. Also they could add lamps for each bunk. We had 2 for 5 people. But still 10/10!!!! Great.

- The hostel is situated in a very good position to reach the attractions in the Mitte area. The area is rich of restaurants, cafeterias, mini markets. - Good covered garage is available immediately next door to the hostel. - The staff is composed by young guys and girls of various nationalities, very friendly and helpful. - Clean room and bathrooms. - Breakfast is simple but good, has all what you need.

- No soap in our room (which had private sink and shower). - No towels at our disposal in the room. - Be careful if you arrive by car. The entire area is a low emission zone, so you need a special vignette to access it. This is not mentioned here in facilities description.

Their boss was aggressive talking to me. And i believe the reason for that because i was talking to a girl from the staff that he liked so much and j kept looking at him flirting with her which is really okay for me but to be aggressive against guest because he talked to a girl you like!!!! I mean that’s awful reaction towards a guest also the age difference between them is huge he looks like her father :(

There was a cup of free coffee or tea! The staff were really nice even I asked many questions. Moreover, the price was reasonable. It was awesome! I really like it! The dormitory room was so wide that there were many beds. I prefer lower beds, so it was easy to use lower bed!!

The card key of the dormitory room was difficult to use. The stuff said me ''Please tilt the card slightly and insert it like this.'' It was more difficult than I thought when I tried later by myself. I struggled 3 minutes to open the door, but it was very nice that the stuff show me how to use it! Maybe it was my bad, so I'm afraid to say, but the card key (or the card leader) should be renewed.

Great location close to the city center with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. The lobby is very nice with normal prices on the bar and lot of space. The check-in and check-out is very easy, the staff is helpful. The beds was comfortable and the sheets was clean, the space for luggage in the room was big enough. A lot of toilets and showers next to the rooms, which were clean and nice.

The room for 4 people was not big enough for all guest and the first bed was next to the door, which makes is extremely difficult to not bother the person on it entering the room. There is no small light next to the bed and lack of power outlets. The water from the shower lasts just 5 seconds and you have to push it again and again if you want proper shower.
