The view was amazing! We could lie in bed and overlook the Spree river! Our room was very spacious and we found everything we needed. Also the location is very central. We definitely will come back!

Unfortunately one night the Grill Royal, located underneath the hotel had a noisy party and we could hear and feel the bass very clearly all night.

It was myself and my boyfriends first proper holiday abroad together and we had a wonderful time ! Upon arrival on Friday night, we were greeted by Stefan I think his name was. He was so accommodating and friendly, perfect representative for the hotel ! The other couple of days after that there was a young-ish man at the desk (approx early-mid 20s) and he was also lovely. The room was unreal, we got a little upgrade to look out at the River Spree and it was a treat to wake up every morning to it. We intend to visit Berlin again and if we do, we’ll be returning to this hotel and will recommend any of our friends to come aswell. Thank you for everything !

Proximity of the location to the main tourist attractions is within 25-35min waking distance (e.g. to Brandenburger Tor, the Berlin Wall Memorial) Great location for cultural festivities and restaurants!

The first room we were allocated was situated within another part of the building. Unfortunately the room not in the best condition at all. Luckily we got another room (mini upgrade) which was much better, best comfort (thanks to lovely staff member N.) I would def rebook the same room in future.

We had a nice room with a Spree view and stayed in the property for 4 nights. Opted out from breakfast, which probably was a good idea as one can enjoy a variety of good breakfasts/brunches in Berlin for 7-15 eur. +all the Mitte attractions can be reached by foot +clean +comfy bed and good pillows +good spacious shower +good fluffy towels

-it’s not really a hotel, but rather serviced rooms in a house shared with residential apartments. One might find pictures slightly misleading -noone at the reception after 5pm -would be great to have a little fridge in the room -aircon wasn’t working -had troubles when checking out - employee spoke only German and had little experience with handling guests who use Booking.com All in all, we had a great Berlin experience and Neuer Fritz was a big part of it. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. I booked an extra night in a different type of room on Booking.com and they were nice enough to notice that on their own and came to my room to give me the key for the new room so I could switch directly, which I really appreciated because I was expecting to have to leave my suitcase at reception for a few hours until the new room was ready.

I was in the single room at first and it is very small, but I knew that ahead of time. The double room, however, was enormous.

the location was excellent and close to main sights. very close to Museum Island and pleasantly situated in the river. station was 4 mins walk and easy to get to airport. room was good with nice bathroom and comfortable bed. was a bit concerned after reading a couple of negative reviews but there was nothing to complain about.

if didn’t want to use the lift the staircase was rather dark. there was no wardrobe only a hanging rail and shelves. my husband hit his head on the shelf a couple of times! it would’ve been nice to go next door for breakfast but it was expensive as they only did a big breakfast and we only needed something lighter. there were places about 5-10 mins walk away where you could get rolls, croissants etc though

Firstly, absolutely stunning hotel. The room was gorgeous, so much space. We had a city view with a balcony also - so gorgeous!!! A coffee machine inside as well!!! it has a cafe attached to it, and there’s a couple more down the street - so handy!! Secondly, the location is perfect, right beside the train station & everything is close by anyways such as plenty of bars and restaurants! Thirdly & most importantly - I became sick on our final day of this break and spent the last day in the hotel room & when it came to packing the following morning for checkout, I was less than my usual organised self. I had forgot to take my handbag AND purse home with me (had my passport in my suitcase) so I messaged the hotel and they responded so promptly, they assured me my bag and purse was found & that they would send it over to me in Ireland. I was so happy that they’d send it and of course a week later it arrived with everything still there and in it as I had left it. I cannot thank this hotel enough for going above and beyond getting this back to me. they told me when they sent it, sent proof in an email along with the tracking number. (I paid for the postage when they told me how much it would be) but honestly this made my day knowing I’d get peace of mind getting this all back to me. would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!! fantastic hotel and service! thank you!!!! thank you so much to the staff!!!!

After a misunderstanding with the booking the staff offered us an upgrade. Wow! The new room was amazing. The bedding was so comfortable, the room was very spacious and very well styled. It had a great view of the city and the river, even from the shower. It even came with a Peleton exercise bike. Next level comfort all round.

Although the shower was great it provided some privacy issues when travelling with a family.

the room is perfect (suite Barbara) with the terrace and amazing views! Its big and has all facilities with an amazing bath and shower. unfortunately the bed needs replacement as one side was worn out … As for the cleaning, I understand they reduced it because of covid but as reception is also closes early evening I was lucky to get some toiletpaper in time. Unfortunately the mini bar was not filled either so no water on one evening because there was no one to as for it. Paying for a room that expensive I wouldn’t have to think about those things. for the rest I really enjoyed my stay as the hotel is close to everything but doubting if the next time I will go back for these reasons.

Perfect location - on the bank of the river, only few minutes walk from Friedrichstrasse station. Comfortable bed, quality bed linen. Modern room design.

There's no daily cleaning and towel replacement, only on request. There's a cattle, but since room is not serviced there's no coffee/tea supplies replenishment.
