Literally every little thing. It is so elegant, yet whimsical and not pretentious, the entire hotel is beautiful and comfortable and well maintained. the staff are literally the loveliest people. Tim was especially helpful and kind and when I returned from an important meeting, he greeted me with champagne and took photos for me commemorating the day. He also provided amazing recommendations for dinner and helped me get a last minute hair stylist. the location couldn’t be any better and central. However the room was quiet. All the furniture was comfortable and I slept so well. Even small details were perfect. the on site restaurant is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. I am very discerning and usually always find things not to my liking. This hotel was absolutely perfect. I stayed for 5 nights in the middle of January and wish I could have stayed longer. I will not stay anywhere else when I visit Berlin. An elegant home away from home where everyone treats you with kindness, warmth and professionalism. The whole organization should be commended.

nothing I loved everything

The hotel is right at the Gendarmenmarkt and the French Cathedral. A lot of the major sights are within easy walking distance. We were there for New Years and the Christmas market, a couple blocks away, was still open when we arrived. It was a high end market with pop-up restaurants from the local gourmet establishments. Our private balcony room, which was very lovely and comfortable, overlooked the back side of the French Dom with a view of the Berlin TV Tower in the distance. It was beautiful at night. We went to several of the many cafes surrounding the hotel for breakfasts but we opted for room service new years day which was prompt with our piping hot tea and coffee. The staff was great and very helpful throughout our 5 night stay. Also cabs were available right in front of the hotel which made our 4:30am airport departure stress free.

I always go to the same hotel in Berlin since years and i wanted to give a shot to a new one - location is nice (but there is no view, at least not from my room or either the restaurant), staff is helpful and nice, rooms are very quiet and clean (even if the design and the choice of the art in the room is rather questionable)

Hated breakfast, no buffet and a very intricated menu system, it made me regret the hotel where i usually stay where breakfast is majestic - overall i enjoyed my stay but i was not too charmed, not sure i would come back :/

Excellent hotel with terrific logisitics. Thanks a lot for Emma’s kindness and High professionalism. I also want To thank the tall Lady with short Hair wearing glasses, that stood in the breakfast area using a tablet: she was as much as highly efficient and polite as well as diligent and extremely careful with all the guests having breakfast. As a matter of fact, I do suspect she does have a prodigious memory! 😃😁👏🏼 Unfortunetaly I did not know her name.

A beautiful hotel with exceptional service. We stayed here for the last two nights of our trip to Europe and were celebrating my husband's 40th birthday on the day we arrived. The suite we booked was gorgeous with a fabulous view, and the staff were able to accommodate our request for early check-in and had our room ready by noon. I coordinated with the hotel ahead of time to have a bottle of champagne delivered to our room when we arrived and then while we were out shopping in the afternoon they also delivered a lovely complimentary birthday cake and 3-tiered assortment of fruit, snacks and pastries along with a birthday card signed by their team. An absolutely wonderful, 11/10 experience - we can't imagine staying anywhere else in Berlin!

The hotel decoration is amazing, everything is clean and new. The receptionist offered us champagne while we were checking in which was a nice touch. The breakfast is really amazing and has a great variety of products. The eggs Benedict are superb! We also had dinner at the restaurant and although the menu is not very vast, the food was really good, but also a little expansive (which I think is expected because of the quality of the menu). The bedroom was also well decorated, with a lovely view.

Unfortunately for me the mattress was too hard and not comfortable at all, but maybe this is a matter of taste. Also, during the night we could hear people partying at the streets, so I think the insulation is not the best.

The room was fabulous - great view, was large with wonderful bathroom. Very comfortable bed. sitting area etc. The location was in the heart of Berlin. Perfect to walk to all the classic spots, but also very quiet. So glad we didn't stay at Unter den Linden which was very touristy.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic. We were forgotten and things went from bad to worse. I think there may have been a staff issue. However, everyone very pleasant and we got there in the end.

Fabulous new hotel. Hotel is beautiful with stunning decor all finished to a very high standard. Wonderful location. Staff were all so warm and welcoming. Room was beautiful and my request for a room with a balcony was honored which was most appreciated. Food and drinks (breakfast, dinner and cocktails) we all delicious.

Only complaint was the room was quite warm but this was due to a problem with some of their aircon systems which was in the process of being resolved.

Outstanding position, interesting decor, very helpful staff, nice attached restaurant.

Set items for breakfast, some a bit niche - we prefer either a buffet, or more conventional choices. The balcony was unusable, being covered in (present) pigeon poo. The quite large room still had only one chair and a poof. A small movable table and a second chair would be perfectly possible.
