Breakfast is very good in this hotel: there's a huge choice of excellent things to eat. The breakfast room is also quite large and has an outside area as well. Rooms are clean and they are cleaning the rooms every day! The hotel is conveniently located almost next to an U-bahn station and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Just one annoying thing (only during the summer): wasps can be seriously disturbing your breakfast. For people who are extremely allergic to a wasp sting, this is quite a nightmare to be honest. I'm sure that a few "wasp traps" in the breakfast room would be the ideal solution (and this doesn't cost a lot really).

The location was good for our purposes - just passing through to start on our biking holiday. We could store our bicycles safely in a locked room in the basement. The room was quiet, overlooking the patio in the back where it was also possible to have breakfast. Rooms towards the street are probably more noisy.

The receptionist was nice, but did not speak English very well. The elevator only went to the reception floor - to get down you had to walk the stairs, even with luggage. For us it was not a big problem, but for people who have problems walking this is simply not a good choice of hotels. There were wasps in the jam during breakfast - and they were flying around us.

I was searching for a good quality overnight stay close to the Hole44 concert club for an overnight stay after a fantastic The Warning concert. The hotel is close to the club and has a very good quality/price ratio. Facilities in the room are basic but it was perfect for an overnight stay. Room was very clean and spacious enough. Receptionist were very friendly, and the breakfast was very good. A lot of warm/cold food to choose from, sweet, salty, pastries, fruits, everything that is needed for a good breakfast. Staff in the breakfast room were also excellent, they immediately cleaned the used tables, so there was always free ones to sit at, nobody had to wait. I also liked a lot that luggage can be left at the reception after checkout.

The area around the hotel is not the nicest one, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Spacious comfy clean room

There are no nets on the windows and at night time when it's hot and you have to open the window to cool off, mosquitoes and wasps enter the room and it can be a little annoying. The same problem exist with the breakfast area, a net door could have prevented the wasps from coming inside. It was a really nice well cared area and it's sad that little things like this make the experience a little unpleasant

It was my first time in Berlin. The hotel was perfect! Very well located, close to a variety of restaurants of different cuisine styles (Thai, Indian, pizza etc.), close to a mall and the metro. The room was clean and fully equipped. One last detail : the breakfast was amazing!

Due to works in the street currently, it could be a little noise sometimes as it close to the street. But nothing serious.

This hotel should be commended on the quality of its service and staff. The design is a little “1980’s” but everything works, spotless, staff polite and clearly enjoy working there. The owner is often there and clearly keeps on top of things with a very gentle approach. Our room was enormous with comfortable beds, powerful large shower, plenty of soft towels. The breakfast is superb with plenty to choose from, vast selection of cold meats, cheeses, breads and pastries. help yourself to thermos flasks of really great coffee. fruits, eggs, cereals, sausages etc too. the best , however, was the endless supply of smoked salmon at breakfast. 200m from Hermansplatz U station. Excellent Asian and Turkish restaurants around. perhaps 40 mins walk to centre.

Everyday, between 7am and 10am, there's an excellent breakfast buffet with a large choise of many different things. The breakfast room is big enough: so there's always a free space to sit. Staff is very well and very efficiently taking care of cleaning the tables, even while you're still eating your breakfast.

The temperature in the room + bathroom was a bit chilly, until I found myself how to increase that. The bed cover (for one person) was rather on the small side.

During my first visit to Berlin, I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming and attentive staff made me feel right at home. The hotel's prime location allowed me to easily explore the city's vibrant neighborhoods and iconic landmarks. The room was clean and comfortable. I can't wait to return to Berlin, and I recommend definitely choose this hotel.

Overall it was a perfectly fine stay. The room and bed were comfortable. I was concerned about the street noise, but when you close the window it's actually really well insulated. The artwork is also nice, and provides an interesting contrast to the hotel's otherwise older appearance. Everything was clean, and the breakfast was quite good each morning. Great location.

The only thing that really bothered me was the weirdness of the elevator system. To go up or down, you have to use two different elevators every time - one goes from floors 0-2, and the other goes from 2-6. This creates not only an annoyance each time you go in or out, but also a bottleneck of traffic during breakfast and any other slightly busier time. I've never seen this before; the receptionist said it's for security but I'm not sure they're aware there are these things called cameras that other hotels use. Aside from that, things were fine. Maybe the locks could've been upgraded, and I got locked out on the patio once while I went for a smoke because there are no door handles on the outside for some silly reason.

The beds were good, though we have had them better. If you are by car, the location is ok and easy for visiting the city center attractions. There is also a closeby metro station, though we did not use it. Breakfast was good, though not fresh orange juice.

There is free car parking at the back of the hotel but you need to arrive early to get a voucher that gets you a spot. Otherwise, you have street parking in front of the hotel. Although it was quite annoying because this precise street was under construction!
