We were welcomed by very friendly staff who helped us with a place to park our car 🙂 the hotel itself was very nice, the room was big and the bed was soft. We were happy with a working fan for the warm night. For us, the hotel is located in the perfect spot, our favourite neighbourhood in Berlin. We enjoyed walking out of the hotel getting some cold apfelschorle next door at the spätkauf and just walk around getting some food and such in the neighbourhood.

We stayed in this Ibis Hotel to be close to a friend and to Friedrichshain. The location is indeed perfect if you want to be in a bustling part of Berlin, close to many possible bars, restaurants, etc. We really liked walking around. The location is also quite good if you come from or go to the BER airport. Furthermore we need to mention that the staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt really welcome. The room was clean and with many windows to let light in, and it was quite ok. The bathroom was clean as well.

What we didn't like at all was how loud the door of the corridor was. We have a 3-year old daughter so went to bed around 10pm, and up to around 12.30am we were woken up every few minutes by the sound of the door. It was so loud as if someone was entering our room. Luckily it seems no one returned to his room later than that. Other than that there is no fridge and no water is being offered (you need to pay), which isn't very nice at the quite high cost of the room.

Everything. Neighbourhood (near lively restaurants). However its location is on a quiet street. Good value for money. Great Wifi. Reception open at night. Bar open at reception. Very friendly staff. Hot water for tea and coffee available throughout the day and at night at reception. On one occasion there was even free fresh pastry available. I was given a double room for single occupancy. Spacious room. Fresh modern decorated room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and bedding.

Great location in Friedrichshain, close to lots of good cafes, shops, bars and restaurants and close to both U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations. Really friendly staff and they have luggage storage to leave bags before check in / after checking out. We stayed in a double room and it was very clean and comfortable.

We stayed on the ground floor and it was very noisy from outside noise, during the day and during all the night and even in the early morning. We only stayed for one night so this didn’t bother us too much but if staying longer maybe ask for a room on an upper floor. However the location is so central that noise is to be expected, and everything else during our stay was great.

Room with a view out to the inner yard. Very Berlin. Free coffee even without booking breakfast. Friendly staff.

No bathroom counter for your stuff. Only mirror cabinet. Cleaning staff nice, but knocked on our door a little too early in the morning.

The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The neighborhood is great. If you walk for couple of minutes to Simon- Dach-Strasse you will find plenty of nice restaurants and cafés. It’s close to supermarkets like Netto and Lidl. The U- bahn stop Samariter Strasse is just some minutes away. We highly recommend the hotel and would like to come back for our next stay in Berlin.

. Good location, 5 minutes walk to subway station, 20 minutes walk to the train station. Staff is always ready to help. Good breakfast for good price

I booked room for 2 adults and 1 kid, but the system sent information to hotel about boking for 2 adults only. No kettle in the room. Tea/coffee maker is outside the room, in the restaurant (free of charge)

Location is near the underground station, but enough away from the main road, where ambulance is driving through the whole night and sometimes can wake you up with siren. So the location is just perfect :)

Garbage collectors were making loud noise during the night on the hotel yard, when we were sleeping.

Great hotel, lovely welcome.

One snag, I'm afraid: the internet kept dropping, and, worse, wouldn't let me make WhatsApp voice calls. If you're a Brit with an O2 contract this is a real nuisance, as you can only get 2G in Germany, which is a disgrace, so we'd really like some VOIP, please! Otherwise everything was great.

Didn’t have breakfast but had the complimentary tea and coffee. Location was very central and the room was cleaned every day. Excellent shower.

Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
