I honestly cannot recommend Stayery enough, I had a fantastic stay there. Location is excellent - I used to live in Berlin and highly recommend Friedrichshain enough, there are loads of shops, cafes, restaurants bars etc (the majority all independent places) which are all walkable from Stayery. There is also a tram station right outside with great connections and it is only a 10 min walk from Ostkreuz a major train station for local transport and national trains. The accommodation itself is great (think IKEA meets industrial chic), and the bed is so so comfy, and the space is great. Shower is a delight, had really great water pressure and was spotlessly clean. The kitchenette is basic but useable.

Would have been great if there was salt and pepper in the room kitchenette (there was a salt and pepper shaker but nothing in them). There not being someone on site was mostly fine but when I needed to extend my stay it would have been great to be able to speak to someone in person (but it was all sorted).

Everything is very very there. That said the stay too. It was a very good experience staying there. For us it was very close to work and all required shops to buy groceries or just have a meal. You have every kind of restaurant within walkable distances. The staff were very helpful and they also received our parcels etc. Entire stay is easily operational. Added to that right outside the door is the tram stop and 5min walk away you have the Ostkreuz S-Bhan station. I would stay here again for sure next time in Berlin again.

Only thing i felt was, it would be have good if we had some door mats at the door and outside of the washroom. Also the cleaning part, it was not up to the mark. I still saw some dust at places even after the weekly cleaning was done.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the vibrant Boxhagener Platz neighborhood, which is well-connected by public transport (there’s even a bus stop right outside!). You’ll find everything you need within walking distance, from supermarkets just around the corner to great bars, restaurants, and even record shops nearby. It’s also conveniently accessible from Berlin’s airport, making arrival and departure especially easy. The hotel itself is impressively modern and tech-friendly; you do the check-in yourself, which is incredibly easy and convenient. The rooms are sleek and beautifully designed, providing a stylish and comfortable stay. I stayed for a full week and enjoyed every moment. For anyone looking for a mix of convenience, style, and technology, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

I loved the kitchen in the room. I also appreciated the laundry room and the app that goes with it. Although the room was hot, the host was gracious in giving me a fan. I would stay here again. Great place.

· The room was hot, but the host was kind and gave me a fan to use in it. I put it in the open window, and that helped a lot. I had to wait half an hour for a guest to remove their completed laundry from the only dryer. After half an hour, I removed the laundry and put it on the counter. I do not like to do that, but I needed to get my clothes in the dryer to pack that evening. This is not an issue for the Stayery though, just an inattentive guest.

Great location and nice apartment vibes. Seems to be more like serviced apartments for digital nomads rather than a traditional hotel/hostel

As it is semi-remote it isn’t staffed like a hostel which meant that when we needed to leave our bags and a staff member was unwell there was going to be nobody available to let us in to collect our luggage. This meant having to find a left luggage locker - requiring 2 train journeys and missing the first half of the football match we were attending a 15 minute walk from the Stayery. It was an inconvenience and although illness cannot be helped it does suggest the unstaffed model could cause issues in an emergency. Otherwise all was good with the quality of the venue.

Excellent vibes, position and organization. Simple and extremely functional, ideal for traveling for work or for a short stay as digital nomad. The neighbourhood has plenty of little restaurants where there's more than meets the eye, the quality of the food is better than how they look.

For some reason I don't quite grasp the blanket is very small. It's barely the size of the mattress when it's perfectly flat, which means that with a body underneath is exceedingly narrow. I am 189cm tall (6ft 3) and it was long enough at least. You have a small functioning kitchen but there's no range hood and there's a very sensitive smoke alarm, so cooking isn't really an option.

I loved my time at the Stayery and would definitely be going back whenever I’m in Berlin next. The location is absolutely perfect; close enough to a major train station and sooo many cool restaurants, cafes & bars. The check-in / check-out experience was super easy. Everything is self service and it works really well; from buying snacks to requesting a new room key, all very hassle free! I also loved the user interface of the devices we used. The rooms are well equipped & the bed was extremely comfortable too. Would 100% recommend you stay here!

I’d like to share two minor things that could have been better, in my personal opinion, but they didn’t necessarily tarnish the overall experience I had. 1. I stayed here in July when the weather was quite hot, even at night, and it did get really warm in the room as there was no AC or fan. 2. Though there was a shared iron you could use downstairs, it’d be great to have one in the room as well. I was working remotely from the Stayery (as many others were) and when getting ready for a day’s work, I’d like to have had the option to iron my clothes in the room to save me time in the mornings. Considering the price point for the stay, I feel like that’s a reasonable ask.

Excellent neighbourhood with loads of vegan restaurants, shops, bars and very easy to get public transportation into the center of town (Mitte, Alexanderplatz). Luggage storage is offered free of charge which is hugely helpful. Staff is really nice and helpful, and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. The room was like a small apartment which was super cool.

Loads of noise from the street (tram right outside for at least some of the rooms), but what are you going to do when you are in an area with excellent public transport connections. Not really any climate control in the rooms, which would have been nice in the hot summer - but there was a great room fan. Also: we lacked instructions for the stovetop :)

Liked the design and functionality. It had everything I needed and it all worked. I liked the lockable cupboard to safely store belongings although the accommodation felt safe and secure. Tram stops directly outside and around the corner as well as good supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Parking I super easy and the garage is directly across the road and secure and it’s quiet enough to park outside to unload and then go and park. Staff were amazing, really genuinely lovely, friendly and really helpful. WiFi was fast and reliable. The one thing I noticed was that there was a fan in the room but no aircon. It wasn’t hot enough that I needed it but the room was warm. I opened the window but being on the first floor I would get smoke from people having a cigarette in the courtyard below. Just a minor thing as otherwise it was great.

Location is great, it's in walking distance to multiple public transport stations, and you can reach both the airport and the city center in 30-40 minutes. We also liked the nightlife and the shops/restaurants/markets in the area. Check in is automatic (and easy), but that doesn't mean that there is no staff on-site. The hosts were really nice. The room was spacious, modern, well equipped for a short stay. Our room didn't face the street so we didn't have issue with noise either. Stable WiFi. All in all we had a nice stay there.

The room wasn't the cleanest I've ever seen, but honestly it wasn't an issue. It's worth to mention that there is a window between the bedroom and the bathroom - it was fun for us as a couple but it's good to take into consideration if you are not travelling with your partner. Price was a bit high - probably because Lollapalooza was on the same weekend.
