we had an accident in the suite the sliding door stop was broken and it smashed my partners 3 fingers , I run down to the lobby to get ice since fingers were already blue and there was bleeding, the African lady behind the bar refused to take action saying she was making drinks for a couple and I had to wait for her to finish the cocktails before I get ice for broken finger and when I insisted she still refused and I had to wait for her to finish in order to get the ice , this in my book is unacceptable behavior when you have an emergency like this you drop whatever your making and get the bloody ice in my opinion she should not work in hospitality at all. not my first stay at sana hotel but I think this will be the last

I have been more than once to this hotel. Very nicely designed and styled, I always appreciate the size and design of the room and common areas. Attentive and welcoming staff, both at the reception and in the breakfast room. Big stylish room and bathroom, my room had a bath tub. Many wardrobes and drawers, to store everything away from your sight, and allowing to keep everything in good shape. Nice coffee/tea machine in room. Nice pool with sauna and Turkish bath (re-designed and refurbished since a few years ago), on top floor with view of the city. Roomy gym with treadmills, cardio machines and basic body building gear. High-quality and abundant breakfast, really a plus. You can have it also in the inner patio. The location is also a major plus in my view, central yet kind of secluded from the crowds. Parking options on the street are abundant in the high-quality residential district around (no fee at night). Tons of restaurants, services, malls, connections, attractions, etc. in the area. Has been and will be my reference place for Berlin.

No significant cons. The gym was relocated from its original position to a much better and roomier one, however the fittings are clearly provisional. Gym gear may be improved with just a few little additions, and installing a shock-absorbing pavement is highly recommended (releasing weights will end up damaging the existing tiles, and the noise of steps landing on the treadmills is currently very intense). The door for communicating with the adjoining room was shut, but I could hear too much of the neighbor guests' conversation.

The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay. We informed them of car trouble and an expected after midnight arrival which was nine hours later than planned. Possibly that was taken into consideration, and they certainly took care of us and put us in a very nice room. We enjoyed the pool, sauna and location. We left our car parked the entire time and had no trouble touring Berlin on foot and with easy access to public transportation. This hotel set the bar high for the other four hotels we visited during our road trip in Norway, Denmark and Germany.

Parking is fairly expensive but it is nice that there is a car park below the hotel and the price was as expected.

The pool and sauna areas were very nice. The steam bath set up was impractical (hose not long enough to hose off benches). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Suite had everything for food preparation, including fridge, stove, oven and microwave, pots and pans. Suitable for a longer stay. Close to subway stops and easy to find.

The sleeper couch in the suite was not a standard bed size, instead very short. It was OK for me (161 cm tall) but not very comfortable. Bathroom in normal room didn't have much privacy -- large window towards bed, so you could see into the bathroom and out of it.

Layout of the room was great, location was fantastic, the screening of the World Cup games was great too! The staff were absolutely incredible and so helpful with everything that we queried or asked. The hotel was really clean too which was to a very very very good standard.

The hall ways were a little bit dark but I can't really give that a true negative as it was really pleasant and well decor very nicely.

We are very grateful to the hotel for everything. For the warm welcome, for allowing us to check in early in the room. The location of the hotel is fantastic, the apartments were very nice and big. Staff was also very friendly to us. When we were asking to clean a room it was always done promptly. Probably SANA Hotel is the best hotel we’ve ever been in Berlin. We will be happy to return again. After this hotel, we do not even want to consider other options. SANA BERLIN HOTEL - this is LOVE!

It's really nice appartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and big living-room. The appartment has everything you need for the long stay: dishwasher, washing machine, iron snd the board,microwave, coffe machine and all stuff you need for making meals. Bathrooms were really clean. All personnel is very helpful and nice. It's easy to get to the centre of Berlin or wherever you need: U Bahn is very close to the hotel.

The only problem we had is that one of the sink didn't work properly: the water went very slow and stayed in the sink for a while. On the shelves near to the bed it was a little dusty.

I give 10 because I love this hotel so much, the staff are amazing and I have only good memories with this place. But the rooms are in need of repair, even the mattress on the bed is already creaking.

Great breakfast, good location, clean and sunny room and facilities, easy check-in and check-out, comfy bed, great smelling toiletries. Loved the detail of the mirror with the light in the bathroom (was useful when putting on make-up) The sauna and pool were excellent with a view of the city just like in the photos - on a Saturday morning, it was completely empty, like having a private spa! The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. It was really easy to get to and from the hotel. The flower arrangements in the lobby and breakfast area were beautiful and a nice detail. I was traveling alone and had a great stay.

I can understand how the spa area can seem too small when there are many people. The steam sauna was not on during my stay. Also, I can imagine that the room can get hot and stuffy in the warmer months. As the hotel faces a street it can be noisy when the windows are open. The windows open inward so its not possible to have the blinds down with the window open at the same time. My only suggestion for the staff is to air the room thoroughly as the smell of the previous tenants cologne was still very heavy in the air. Other than that, everything was great!

Perfect choice. Big rooms. Comfortable beds. Very good breakfast. Super time in sauna and pool! Location - everything near. Safe parking! 10/10.
