+ Lots of nice little touches that make you feel welcome; free water with lemon and little cake slices at the reception, free water and free coffee capsules in the room, etc. It's not much, but it's nice. + We had a fridge in our room and this is very useful, especially for longer stays. + The room was very large and was furnished with a big, long office - excellent to work. + It's very close to the train station (where you can find food even late and during the weekends). + Overall an excellent value for the price. + The staff was very nice, especially at the breakfast. + The rooms were largely soundproof. A nice thing when you come with a 4yo kid! + The choice at the breakfast was nice (but see below).

- The administration system is a mess. I needed a breakfast invoice for myself, not for my wife, because my work could refund my breakfasts to me, but I never could get it. It was apparently something their system couldn't achieve. - There was a bad smell in the room (nothing due to uncleanliness; it was likely due to the plastic the armchair was made of). - The neighborhood is VERY unsafe. Prostitution, people doing drug injections twenty meters away from the hostel, etc. It's not the fault of the hostel if the surroundings of the train station are so gloomy, but still, it's definitely a negative. - There are very few refills at the breakfast, so by 8:30 lots of trays are already empty. If you want mashed potatoes, get up early. One morning there was no orange juice left.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. The hotel is located in the center of Dusseldorf, which is very convenient for exploring the city and its attractions. The hotel has a modern and elegant design, with water and refreshing towels in the lobby. The reception workers were kind and professional, and they helped me with everything I needed. The breakfast was a great value for money, with a variety of dishes and beverages to choose from. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large window and a soft bed.

The room was too dark at night, and the noise from the construction work was disturbing during the day. I wish I had known about these issues before booking the hotel.

The location was very good - 5 min from the train station. It was central but quiet at the same time. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower. The complimentary water was a nice touch. Bar with good prices.

The a.c. was not working properly. It was making noise but it was not cooling enough. The night we spent there was warm but not extremely hot. It could be a problem in a very hot day. The hotel was under renovation and the noise started early in the morning. They did provide ear plugs at the reception though. The sauna was also under renovation and we couldn't use it. It would have been nice to know that during the booking process.

The man in the reception was friendly and accomodating, he even let us checked in earlier than normal which was really a nice treat coming from an early and long travel. The breakfast was also decent. It is near from the central station but quite a walk if you really want to go to the center and other tourist spots, otherwise you can take public transpo. They also provided free water and coffee in the room.

It is quite a bit dated hotel with a carpet that you can see some stains but cannot do about it. Aircon is not that strong but tolerable since it was not that hot. Double bed is just a twin bed combined together. I slept good so i didnt mind it but just a heads up.

The hotel is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from Dusseldorf main station. Public transport or a moderate walk takes you to the downtown shopping, dining sightseeing areas easily. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was pleasant to relax with a drink in the hotel bar in the evening. The room was clean and spacious and the wifi worked well. The surrounding area was quiet at night, even though it was downtown.

The staff was really helpful and accomodating!The room was really big and with balcony. Location is very close to Hauptbahnhof and bus station, allowing for quick connections.

The hotel is a bit outdated and undergoes renovation at the moment. The area is in general okay, but drug addicts were begging for money in front of the hotel every day. But again, it is close to Hauptbahnhof, and the whole area there is not very pleasant.

We liked the room, very nice, but the tv did not work at first, so they immediately provided us with another room, so helpful and attentive. Location is good, walking to city center is about 15 minutes, but ubers were available at any time, so that was great. Staff was very friendly and kind and answered all our questions. They speak very good English at the front desk, so that was very much appreciated. Continue with the good service!

We noticed that the name of the hotel had no lighting, so you could not see the name, that is very much necessary if the hotel wants to promote itself. The entrance could use some lighting too and indications.

The breakfast offered at the buffet was very good. The quality of the foods offered was high, but I think the price of 15€ was a bit too much for breakfast. The line at the coffee machines was almost always long. There should be a quicker way to get coffee at breakfast.

The hotel room was very dimly lit. I would have liked to have had at least one bright light somewhere in the room. One ceiling bulb was out, making a very dim room even dimmer. Although I found the entire hotel to be very clean, there was a rather large stain on the carpet in between the bed and the night table. It looked as if someone had spilled an entire cup of yogurt there, or maybe a bowl of ice cream. I was surprised that the cleaning service did not notice such a large puddle on the carpet. I would, however, still recommend this hotel. My complaints were minor compared to the advantages of staying here.

The room was spacious and had everything I needed. The bathroom was clean and comfy. The breakfast was very tasty, and a wide choice of food was offered. The location of the hotel is great - very close to the main train/subway station in Dusseldorf.

I didn't like the fact I had to ring the bell to be let into the hotel at some later hour. Also didn't I like that I needed to provide my room number each time to be admitted breakfasting.

This older hotel is a five minute walk from Dusseldorf main train station yet is very quiet. Did not hear the trains at all and it is not on a busy road which is also great. Our room was massive! Older style furniture and bathroom but super clean and staff were great. Great restaurant and bar on the other side of the tracks called Buttershaker. Check it out! Drinks cheap and food excellent.

Everything was good and we could get anywhere in the city quickly being so close to the Bahnhof. The hotel has a reduced service restaurant so they only did snack type foods and no cooking facilities so you need to go out to get a nice meal.
