The warm and welcoming staff and its location right above a channel and very conveniently close to the city centre.

For a hotel of its category, certain things, such as minibar, amenities kit, slippers, a desk phone to contact the reception in case of emergency at least and cleanliness should be for granted. The lack of the above and the spiders I shared the room with, certainly do not justify the pricing charged. Moreover, this inexplicable trend of window dividers for the bathroom and the sink placed in the room and outside the bathroom MUST STOP. Thankfully I was on my own, but don’t know who would enjoy sharing their most private moment at the loo with their partner.

This is a total value for money in my opinion. Situated in one of the nicest area in Hamburg and offering a great 180 degree view of the canal/river and the city, is simply amazing. Very close to the train/metro, cafes & restaurants, shopping areas, and tourist attractions. Very hospitable stuffs and great service. The room was large, bright, equipped with all necessary amenities and the bonus is the view of course. Highly recommended.

Perhaps a mini refrigerator in the room would have been great. This is something I always enjoy in hotel rooms. Otherwise everything else was simply superb.

Location is great, in a walking distance from the city center, with many restaurants nearby and it's safe. We arrived a little bit earlier than the check in time, and despite at first the told us there was no room ready, in the end they let us check in about an hour earlier. The hotel was very clean and the room as well. Nevertheless a cockroach appeared in the room the day we were leaving. I believe this happened not because of lack of cleanliness, but because the hotel is next to a canal and water. The room's window was fantastic with a view at the canal and the general feeling was that we were in a luxury ship cabin.

We booked and paid for the 'cosy' room. Nevertheless they gave us the 'nest' room, which was smaller. We didn't complain about it because we didn't want to lose our limited time in Hamburg trying to explain and changing rooms. The shower was separated from the room with a glass wall and there was no curtain, fact that requires super great intimacy between roommates.

Location is excellent, just a few stations from all the main attractions by U bahn. The room is spacious with great river view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were somehow two spiders in the room which is ok for me but may be scary for some. The facilities in the room is also minimal with no water kettle, coffee machine, fridge, etc. That being said, the bar is at the front desk and quite easy to reach. Breakfast was really nice (also in the bar area) and offers good variety of bread, pastry and meat. The layout and decor of the bar is warm and retro, offering a really comfortable, at home feel. Great location - easy access to both the town centre and the port. Room was spacious, quiet, and unique. Above all - the staff were incredible. Unfailingly helpful, friendly, and professional. Special thanks to the receptionist/bartender with blue streaks in her hair, who not only helped me out on multiple occasions, but had the patience of a saint as I practised my less-than-stellar German skills. I would have no hesitation in choosing this hotel again the next time I travel to Hamburg.

I have nothing negative to say. However, it's worth knowing what you're getting into. If you don't mind a bed in the middle of the room, a shower separated by only frosted glass, and the sink being outside the bathroom, you'll love it. If you do, you might still love it - but it might cause you problems.

Kasia was great! She helped everyone and you could see her positive influence on the entire team of employees supporting everyone at the morning breakfast and people who need help checking out and sightseeing in Hamburg.

On Wednesday morning at our request for some information about Hamburg from a short man employee, a tall thin male employee interrupted with a one minute mean response about how they were too busy to help us. He could have given us a 30 second answer to our question, but he decided to be forceful and unhelpful.

+: The Hotel was nice, clean and has suprising features (Guitars free to use). +: You can reach center of city, "Reeperbahn" and "Landungsbrücken" easily by foot or train (subway or high train) Neutral: O: It was a little strange, that the checkin personal was talking english by default and was not able to switch to german. A manager would have been requested if i wouldn't be able to talk communicate in english. This might be a problem to a couple of people.

-: Missing Parking Option: the hotel has a partnership with an near by parking space, but 34€ - 10% per day is still a high price!!! -: Breakfast way to expensiv

Perfect location for everything that suits every tastes. I walked everywhere for my entire 5 days stay. From the Opera House to all the Churches to the various districts that all tourists want to visit to the Elpfilharmonie to all the museums. Almost everything is no more than 15-20 minutes walk in all directions. Just 3 minutes walk by the side of the hotel is an enclave of restaurants, from all over the World and a beautiful area to walk around with St. Michael Church just 1 minutes away. The S1 train from the Airport takes you directly to the station that’s just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The interior design of the reception bar and lobby is trendy, interesting and cool. Loved it. Checking in is just a click of a button. Staffed by very friendly smiling and helpful young men and women, they all spoke perfect English. The rooms are bright, creative and thoughtfully laid out and very comfortable. I loved it all. This will be my hotel when I next visit Hamburg.

Had booked this for a one night stay in Hamburg and was prepared for a perfectly fien hotel but this really exceeded my expectations! The beds were really comfy, the rooms were nice and quiet - and even with the smallest room possible it was actually plenty of space. Its really easy to access from the airport (one direct s-bahn train and a short walk) whilst being amazingly central with loads to offer in a no more than 10 min radius! We would definitely stay here again!

only issue was both our doors had a slightly difficult door locking mechanism - we didn't see the same issue on any of the other doors so think it was just bad luck!

Excellent location, good view from our room and nice staff! The reception and the restarant area seem very nice, many people having a good time, and the atmosphere was great!

I usually expect amenities like Toothbrush and paste to be available in the room in a 4 star hotel, in this case there is a vending machine where they charge a small amount for this. Definitely not a big issue, but unexpected. The room has some kind of a smart toilet, which we found very annoying to fiddle with. Very small wardrobe for a double room if you plan to stay more than 3-4 days.
