The staff are so friendly and helpful! Coffee and a croissant in the morning was great! Really good location, 1 minute from the Sbahn and very close to the event location for the triathlon! Comfy bed, lovely shower! Handy having a fridge in the room. Very easy system to get key card.

It would be helpful to have a kettle in the room, luckily I took mine in case! It did feel a bit strange not having anyone there after lunchtime and at night no one at all at the main reception, as a solo traveller, if you had any kind of problem, it felt like there would be no-one to ask for help. I didn't have any problems at all but just wondered what would happen if you did.

So much space in the bedroom, lounge area and foyer. There was even a fan at least - although my allergies kicked in when it was turned on - but it was a better option than sweating all day and night. My boyfriend also accidentally left his shirt there and I appreciated the owner replying to my enquiry about it and facilitating it’s return to us.

Even with the fan, it was still quite hot & humid at the peak of summer so it would be ideal to consider some form of humidifier or environmentally-friendly ventilation system being implemented for the summer months.

It was near the center. The room was so clean and big.

The hotel is actually the 4th floor of the Catholic Academy building next to a church, which also hosts other services and facilities on other floors. The location is just fantastic. I had a room with churchyard view and my stay was quiet all the way through with only the church bells ringing from time to time. Isolation of the room was great and it was always spotless clean. Complimentary croissants with tea/coffee service in the mornings were delightful. We had a slight problem with the credit card payment but the online communication was excellent until the issue was resolved. Overall, great value for the price.

As the "reception" of the hotel is open only for 5 hours during the day (from 7 to 12 pm), I had to call another hotel's reception (as per their guidance) from the landline they provided at the entrance of the floor to my room when I arrived at the building in the afternoon and wait for half an hour for someone to arrive by taxi with new key cards (which open the building, the floor and the room doors) because the two original cards they provided me with on my arrival suddenly stopped working (even though I paid extra attention not to place them near magnetic objects as they have written so) and I could not enter the floor. I guess this process can be improved and made better. Also, the shower was too small even though I am not that big a person.

My double bed was super comfortable, room was neat and clean, bathroom is private and clean. I do like their key system so there is no line or waiting around to check in. Just put my PIN number in the metal boxes outside the front entrance and got my keys. Location is great, right near Hamburg city center. There is also a train station across the street.

There was only one shampoo/soap and small scrub towels in the shower. I did not bring conditioner for my hair, but that is not a big deal. It just caught me off guard.

We had a very nice weekend trip to Hamburg. The hotel was great for our needs. Cozy, clean and comfy room and ideal location, but it is little pricey for my wallet. The staff was amazing and loved the croissant and coffee in the morning!

I didn't check the hotel's site properly, so I was little surprised that the hotel actually was inside a Catholic Academy. I felt little weird going into the building that said Catholic Academy in huge letters in the front, being a very unreligious person. But that doesn't mean I'm unhappy with the room & my stay.

The room was extremely clean and the staff is super helpful and nice. Pair that with a central location at a very affordable price and you got yourself a delightful stay in Hamburg!

The room can feel a tad bit small (we stayed there for a week) and the pillows aren't the most comfortable out there. Regardless, these are pet peeves and next time we'll be back in Hamburg, we will most likely stay here again!

Great location, super clean, comfy bed, easy-to-use key system, and plenty of hot water too. There are also external window blinds if you want them (we got the morning sun) and the reception area does tea/coffee and croissants for free every morning. Stadthausbrücke and Rödingsmarkt stations are just round the corner, and City Brötchen does great sandwiches.

Wifi was a bit slow, but it did work.

Very quiet neighborhood about 200 feet from the S-bahn and two stations away from the central train station. Lots of restaurants about one block away. While the rooms were simple there was exceptional value.

Small deficiencies include no early checkin. Coffee and croissonts were available in the morning. On checkout they ask for payment of the city tax in cash; this was only 12 Euros for our three night stay however.

We honestly only needed a bed and a bathroom for our single-night stay, so they couldn't really do alot wrong. There were still good things I'd like to point out: It's located quite central, the pricing was totally fine and the room was clean. Checking in and out was also idiot-safe and the staff was chill and friendly!

I was kind of confused when I saw two wines standing in our room and we still had to pay for the bottle we drank. This might be an usual procedure in any hotel but this was the first one I stood in for the sake of just having a place to sleep, so maybe this was just something I had to learn.
