We stay there in our wedding night, the staff organize presents for us which make our evening even more enjoyable. The room is very big, nice view, super clean, I would definitely come back.

Parking place was confusing they were making some construction and the way out was not clearly indicated but other than that the rest was great.

Absolutely stunning and very spacious room with a beautiful view of the castle and river. 10 minute walk to the Dom platz and Old Town where we enjoyed the Saturday market immensely. a/c worked great and was the first hotel to actually have a king bed with single mattress (not 2 beds pushed together as is the case with most hotels in Germany :)

We were first given a room on the 2nd floor which had absolutely NO wifi connection at all but upon complaining, was immediately switched to another floor which was fine. Then, a taxi was booked to take us to the airport which we had not confirmed. Luckily the driver was kind enough to cancel without any fee. Also, was unable to obtain a dinner reservation at the in house restaurant so advise to book well in advance if required

a truly excellent hotel, especially due to the fine and pro active staff, both behind the reception desk and in the lobby and the restaurant (breakfast, dinner). all quiet, orderly and with a good atmosphere. Parking faciltiy under the hotel, where you can leave your car packed and all with no concern. Extra bed in the room? No problem. arranged in a matter of minutes. easy and quick check in, late dinner is no problem, a lovely breakfast and a brisk walk alongside the river to start the day. This is how I like it, and this is why I always return at least once or twice a year.

The location is perfect, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially Ms. Ilaria. The room was pretty small for three people, but with the river Rhein view - fantastic. The breakfast was superb, also a dinner in a hotel restaurant. Recommended! The pool is just excellent - highly recommended!!!

The air conditioning is needed improvement especially regarding the current warming. The matrasses - both at at parents' and kid's bed are too soft - needed to be much more firm.

Wonderful view of Rhein River from outdoor terrace. Beautiful room and facility. We would come back to Mainz just to stay at the hotel.

Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations.

Location was excellent, river front. Experienced bar staff were welcoming, and dinner and service was scrumptious.

We walked in wanting to book a room for the evening, but the reception told us that there were only 2 types of smaller rooms were available, not what we wanted. But via Booking we had a river front room instead. Strange we had to book via Booking.com. Other is that another €100 was debited from my credit card without telling me. I had asked later about the charge, which apparently is a deposit. Wished the reception had told us (also ask for consent) this upfront rather than us having to ask. All in all great team and service, reception (or at least first impression) would have been much better if the team was better trained rather than green, and having to ask for input from an experienced team member for every question. I had expected better from a luxury category hotel.

The location was great. The room was very comfortable.

The room refrigerator was not cold at all. It was stocked with drinks I didn't care for, but even if I did, they were not cold. It would have been helpful to have ice available to have a cold drink in the room. A hotel this nice should have an accessible ice machine. My family and I did not eat breakfast because it was too expensive. The hotel should include a free breakfast in the price of the room. This goes for parking as well. Why should I have to pay for hotel parking as a guest?

Why allow special requests if you do the contrary? I booked a "king room" without a view on the river. As a special request I asked for a quiet room on one of the upper floors. I got an email in english confirming that they could arrange for this. Then one in german saying they will try arranging for it. I ended up getting a room with a view on the river but on the 2nd floor above the bar with music until at least midnight. My collegue who checked in after me got a quiet room on the 5th floor. Also my tv stopped working half way through the evening.

Good location, staff are very friendly, good decorating in the hall and nice atmosphere.

Was a bit nosy since evening the lounge still having a party. Breakfast too expensive and didn’t find yogurt. Room with carpets and outside of the bathroom is kinda old tiles, my kids runs and falls several times.

Great location, nice view, friendly staff, swimming pool hours are great 7am -10pm. very friendly staff.

steam room and bathroom could use update. I could not use the steam room, bad smell. to be honest I only noticed it in the steam room. the rest of hotel super nice and clean
