Despite the location close to the main train station and so very busy in the street outside and (at the time construction work all around) the hotel was very quiet - like an oasis in the sea of activity outside. All staff we met and dealt with were excellent, friendly and always helpful. Really nice buffet breakfast with lots of options. Room was comfortable, clean, air conditioning was welcome. Location was excellent for access to S and U bahns and also trams. Also, a short walk to one of the best biergartens in Munich - Augustiner-Keller.

The hotel is very centrally located. However initially I was offered a very small room, not at all as in the pictures. I went to reception and asked to change it and a lady provided me with a new room which was exactly as in the pictures. A few things that I did not like: the refrigerator was not working and my room did not have an AC. I looked through my booking again and AC was not listed, so it was as booked. I just did not expect that hotel rooms in Munich do not have AC. During checkout, they offered me a small discount for a non-working refrigerator, which was a nice gesture. Overall the hotel is nice and the staff is very accommodating.

This hotel exceeded my expectations BY FAR! Hands down, 5 star review for all of the staff, cleanliness, location and comfort. The staff went above and beyond for us and made a point to make conversation anytime we were around. They were all so nice. Caroline checked us in and really made us feel comfortable. Since we got in super early and our rooms were not ready, Caroline held our luggage for us so we could go out and explore the city until our check in time. That was a great perk! The front desk also has a full bar open 24/7 with a super great, crisp beer on draft. You're basically breathing on the old city but not having to pay the prices of staying there. It took my family and I about 15 minutes to walk over. We actually preferred staying outside of it and found some really cool spots. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Central Train Station. Super convenient! I recommend going to "Cafe & Bäckerei Mauerer - Schillerstraße" also called "Mauerer" for Breakfast. 4 minute walk from Hotel and over 800 reviews on google. For Dinner, there's a spot 4 minutes in the other direction called "Münchner Stubn." Absolutely incredible food. We tried all the touristy places and this one took the win for food quality, service and awesome prices! I would, without a doubt, stay here again! One of the best hotel stays I've ever had.

Location is perfect! Near Munich Hbf train station and subway. Super market and good restaurant around the corner. Walking distance to city center and museums. Front desk crew are warm and welcoming. Ready to help you 24/7.

Bath room cleaning relying on one crew that couldn't cover all the details. Breakfast crew was a little bit tough (e.g. Warning only one omelette per person. Don't offer tissue until you ask.)

Very good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice. Breakfast was good and comfortable. We left early one morning and they were willing to pack us a breakfast to go. Room was quiet and it was great to have parking nearby.

The room was clean but corners and such a little bit bit dusty. When we got to go to pick up our morning breakfast early, they didn’t have any takeout containers. They scrambled around to try to find something to put things in but it was a little awkward. Lighting in the room was a little bit dim Great stay close to city Center!and could have used a sitting spot. Overall a great stay.

Perfect location- 5 min walk from the train station, 5 min to the centre of Munich and 10 min to Oktoberfest. I stayed in a single room -the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. My room was ready early- which was lovely. A great assortment at breakfast- chef made eggs to order. Good coffee, fresh orange juice. It was a great start to the day.

Excellent location, super helpful front office especially Monda and the manager, very nice rooms, delicious breakfast but the chef who makes the omelette needs to smile a bit to the guests. I highly recommend.

There was no kettle and complimentary tea/ coffee bags in the room. I had to chase HK for 24 hours to get new towels the lady HK on the second floor doesn't understand English everytime I ask her for towels she smiles and disappeares. But again Monde solved all. It was a little noisy late at night from the rooms above my room at 2 am you can hear furniture were pushed...toilet flushing.. Overall it was a nice stay except those minor things. I will surely come back.

I really like the hotel and the staff. It's also close to the Center of Marienplatz. They were all very helpful and made sure I had a parking spot which is a private lot. Reserve it prior and confirm they have the space as it is limited. Which I am happy I took the time to do. Also, I had the best Indian food I have ever eaten right next to the parking garage for the Hotel. Don't remember the name, but good lord was it top 4 on my list ever!!!

The one item I would mention as a female traveling alone, the area at night did not feel comfortable for me walking alone at 9:30 at night. AND I sure as heck, wasn't going to draw any money from the ATM machine down the street. A lot of heckling from men - in fact I don't recall seeing another woman on that block at night. Also there is a lot of construction going on not for noise - but for driving restrictions. Going with friends and a partner would be a different story.
