Hotel is clean, breakfast was tasty and variety. Bed was comfey.

Be aware as female single traveler, the area where the hotel is located does not feel comfortable in the evenings and night. The hotel itself is secure.

Very close to the Munich main railways station. The street is part of the red light district, but not a problem. The Afghani restaurent down the road was good. Very helpful people behind the front desk. Bed was good. It had a fridge. Spacious bedroom, good bathroom. Shower over bath. Clean. A large breakfast room with a good selection and very friendly staff.

For my room the sun streamed in during the day and made the room very hot. There is no heat pump. There was a small noisy fan. I kept the curtains closed which improved things, but in full summer it would be difficult. I was there in June.

Great location- very easy to walk to from the old town and very close to the main train station, so convenient and easy to find. Also a lot of other hotels on the street so didn't feel out of place or unsafe. Room was a good size, comfortable, quiet and very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, spoke English when my German started to fail me! The breakfast was delicious- the lovely lady came over straightaway when I came in and asked if I wanted tea or coffee- service was very quick. I very much enjoyed my stay here!

The only thing I would change is to have tea and coffee facilities in the room :-)

Good breakfast, comfortable bed, attentive personnel, close to main train station and to the city center. Even though the hotel seems a bit worn out, everything was precisely clean (especially in comparison to the surroundings). So the hotel has the positive points, but due to the surroundings, next time I'll choose something elsewhere...

The surrounding - it seems Google maps are censoring adult entertainment incl. gambling and similarly focused business when you just zoom in to see what's there. The surrounding is only full of hotels, the aforementioned businesses, and barber shops (which were by the way the most dirty I have ever seen through their window). However I did feel safe, but will not go in the area with kids, or as a woman alone. Maybe Germans feel it differently...

For the price this is a good place to stay in Munich. Metro is on the corner, hotel is a few minute walk to the main train station, shopping centres, restaurants and supermarkets. It is very basic but clean.

I would have liked an electric kettle and coffee and tea in the room - it is fairly basic in hotels of similar price range.

The hotel is located close to the main railway station and not far from Allgäu Express bus stop which connects the city to Memmingen Airport. Karlsplatz (Stachus) is just 5 minutes walk away. The staff was very welcoming and polite. I was allowed to check-in before 1:00 PM, although check-in time starts from 2:00 PM. The key to the room must be left at the reception. The room was clean and spacious. And it had a safe which was very convenient. Bathroom was clean and roomy as well. Breakfast was awesome! Very nutritious, with a great choice. Breakfast area is very roomy, with many tables.

There was an issue with the heating in the room. The radiator was cold although I could feel that the incoming pipe was hot, and the knob didn't seem to work. It was not critical since the building in general was warm, but on the next day I asked the reception anyway. They confirmed that there were problems and I was offered a heater and an extra sheet, and on the day they tried to fix it, but the radiator remained barely warm. But as I said, it was not really cold in the building so it was a very minor issue in my case. Tip: if you are traveling during the cold season, check the heating and report any problems on the day of arrival.

A friend had scared me when she heard the area of the hotel, but actually, it is a very lively, quite touristy and actually nice part of town, very close to the train station and the shopping area. It really is one of the best places for starting off any exploration in and around Munich. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and knowledgeable - especially one gentleman at the reception who gave me the best tips for where to have dinner in the area. The room was big and cozy. You could hear some noise from outside but by 12, it was quiet enough even for me to sleep (I need peace). It was nice that they had a fan for the warm evenings/days (not that I used it, but it was a great and welcome option to have). The breakfast had a nice variety of things and, all in all, I would recommend this hotel.

I liked everything about the hotel.

A good breakfast, a very central location next to the main station, nice and caring personell. I got to my room about 4 hours before the official check-in time; after checking out on the last day, the hotel let me keep my heavy backpack in a storage room while I was exploring the city before taking an evening train, which was extremely nice and helpful. Tasty bonbons at reception :)

The hotel in general and facilities make an impression of being slightly outdated. I didn't like the heavy and bulky key fobs and the neccessity to return them to reception each time leaving the hotel.

The hotel is a few hundred metres from the main train station so it is perfect when you have multiple cases and backpacks. There are numerous restaurants in the area that offer a variety of cuisine. Also it is about 15 minutes from the old town on foot and it is easy walking. Room large and clean, no air conditioning but a large electric fan was provided. Breakfast was a continental buffet but also had hot sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs. It had a selection of fresh fruit and juice as well. There is a 24 hour concierge and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again if I visited Munich in the future.

Great service! Staff greeted guests warmly. I like their smiles! Great breakfast! Fresh and tasty! Satisfied with the coffee, bread, tomatoes and cucumber. And the location is very convenient! I could walk to the Deutsches Museum easily with half an hour. Highly recommend this hotel.

It is very hot at night! The first night I couldn't sleep at all. The fan is good, but the temperature on June 29 is much higher than that a sound sleep requires. But it is not the fault of the hotel, but of the climate change.
