Euro Youth Hotel Munich

The breakfast was a good price and delicious food. Room accommodations were perfect, location was very close to train station and in a safe area. The private room for 4 was perfect for my friends and I, personal lamps for each of our beds, and outlets with shelves for charging phones. The staff all spoke English and were very friendly and helpful.

Wish we didn’t have to pay for towels, and that the shower had a curtain or something to keep the water from splashing all over the bathroom.

Perfect location, very close to the main train station and a scenic walk to other key parts of the city. It was all very clean - I had a single room and shared bathroom facilities and these were always very clean and tidy, could not fault. The breakfast was also pretty good for pretty cheap so no qualms there.

One night there was a screaming baby in the room next to me at 2am for about an hour, it was very loud in my room and I actually went to ask if I could be switched to a different room because there was no way I could sleep. Unfortunately all the rooms were full and I couldn't move. Eventually the baby stopped screaming at about 3am.

It has anything you might need, the beds are comfortable with a nice sink in the dormitory and a charging socket handy. I really appreciated the bathrooms/toilets: well distributed, each floor had several of them, so I almost always found a free one (it's often a drag in hostels as you have to wait in queue). Breakfast was convenient (6.90 for a buffet) with a decent choice of items. Working WiFi connection. There is an happy hour daily 4 to 8pm but I was never around at that time, however it seemed like a nice option. Lockers are available with a security deposit, and there is the possibility to leave your bags in a dedicated storage room after check out. Of course the location is great: just in front of the München Hbf train station and 15 mins walk from Marienplatz. I would definitely recommend it if staying in Munich.

Wifi was great. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Showers/Bathroom were basic but clean. Hostel Bar was the highlight of the hostel, cheap beers, cocktails and the pizzas were 10/10. would stay here again.

Location was perfect in terms of central and right beside the big train station however the surrounding streets were a bit sketchy/run down but I didn’t have any trouble walking on my own at stupid o’clock. Also I found I didn’t have any phone signal/coverage from inside the building.

looking at the price, the cleaniness, facilities and the helpfulness of the staff was very nice. The bar was cheap with a variety of options and free tea. Beds are comforatble and quite clean, and there was a place above the bed for charging and resting my devices. Clean towels can be provided and there was hair dryer.

the WLAN was slow. The luggage room was rather a storage room than a secured room. The cleaniness of the bathroom was not the best. I shared the bathroom with the other 4 people and the bathroom was only in clean condition once -- the first day where I am there. Afterwards, the floor is always wet due to someone showering and stuffed with floof from clothings and hair from others. Note that there is no product provided for showering or teethpaste.

The breakfast was very well priced for the amount of food and drinks that were on offer. The hostel is located very close to the train station, and is very is to find using Google maps. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part of the hostel was the communal bar area where I met so many amazing people. The drinks were well priced and the bar also had themed nights (e.g quiz nights, karaoke etc.) I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Euro Youth Hostel

Some of the shower areas are relatively small and awkward to enter with a bag. I did however manage to find a shower room that was big enough to fit my large suitcase, so that I could get dressed outside of my dorm room and not wake anyone else up.

Is located in a good place, near the Station. With some restaurants and supermarkets near by. The room and the bathroom were clean. The staff were very patient and kind. They have a elevator but is a little bit slow. They give you a free beer ticket on arrival.

It isn't related to the hostal but my roomies made a lot of noise very early in the morning. Also. .. And when one of them left the hostal she left some stuff in her bed so the staff wasn't sure if there was someone still in that bed or not so they didn't clean it. (the beds are no assign). It only has one spot for bed to charge all your electronics devices. Those aren't the only one but not the nearest to the beds.

Location overall felt very safe even though it was near the central station. Rooms were good and Bathroom was very clean, even thought it is shared through everyone it was not a worry. Liked that I could wash my clothes on the hotel (7 euro total). Breakfast was simple but worth the price (around 7 euro as well).

Super friendly welcome from the staff, good price, spacious comfy room, quiet, able to open window so good temperature, everything super clean, lovely building, good signage, nice firm bed and good linen, nice toilets, great to have a table and places to hang things up, looked out onto quiet courtyard. Not a glamorous high end place - just really practical and well thought out. The breakfast was EXCELLENT! Such a good deal for only just over 7 Euros. Also really nice bar area with comfy sofas. Really convenient spot for train station and to check out central Munich.

The women's shower (on floor 3) - the water only came out around the edges of the shower head. Not a big deal as I didn't need to wash my hair. In the men's shower the water turned off automatically too soon. The light on the far side of the bed nearest the window wasn't working, again no big deal - there were plenty of other lights!

This was the second time I have stayed at Euro Youth Hostel in Munich. This time, I was in a private room and it was great. It had the beds, a small table and a sink in the room with shared bathrooms. We never had an issue with using the shared spaces (aka - they were never full and you weren't left waiting impatiently). The bathrooms and the room were clean and the beds were decently comfy. The staff were really helpful and kind and I love the happy hour that the bar provides! It's a great time to socialize and meet others.

The room was a bit warm even with the window open over night and the ladder steps are a bit painful, but no complaints, just a bit of annoyance!
