The location is great. It is near Münchner Freiheit where it has a lot of shopping and eating possibilities. There is also a U-Bahn there where you can take to the city center. There are also a Bakery and Lidl supermarket just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

They recently streamlined the check-in process where you can do self check-in. The Comfort Plus Double Room that we booked has a shower that was totally transparent, this was very unexpected. There was no bar fridge available in the room.

we were given a very nice free upgrade which made the stay even more convenient that we expected the size of that room was very big and the bathroom even had a "shataf" which is very good . The location is nice and area is calm and near the English garden . although the check in registration is done by the guest himself via a computer kiosk in the reception , but the staff were present and friendly and assisted in checking in process ,nonetheless . I would go there next time.

We switched rooms a couple times due to maintenance issues but the staff was so helpful and did their best to accommodate us that we didn’t mind

Great hotel, nothing fancy in a great location for the public transport. The staff were wonderful, could not do enough to help. Hotel was really quiet at night which was great with some good restaurants within easy walking distance. We will definitely be back next year.

Weird how the bathroom is in the bedroom. It was ok because I was alone but if I were there with another person it could have been awkward at bathroom time

We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Overall, I believe it was one of our best experiences in this price range.

The breakfast could be cheaper. We took it for one morning, and the next day we went to a cafe in 5 minute walk from the hotel, which was way cheaper (almost half).

One of our best hotel experiences in Germany! The hotel was very clean, the stuff was extremely polite and smiling and the breakfast was great. The suite was warm enough with ideal temperature. Free sparkling water and coffee capsules every day.

Everything was perfect! the rooms are spacious and freshly renovated. Very special kudos to staff on reception, every interaction was absolutely delightful. Professional, friendly, helpful, pleasant humans that give an extra boost to the overall experience. Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone travelling to Munich.

Stayed many times at this hotel over the years and it has always maintained a certain superior standard. Good sized comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, quite good value and over all very friendly and efficient staff, to name a few... And one bright star among the hotel staff, a gentleman called Timo has always been extra polite and friendly, offering the best service at hotel's restaurant & bar ; many thanks Timo 👍

I booked a room that comes with a Nespresso coffee machine and also mailed the hotel to make sure my room came with one. Still, upon check-in, l was given a room without such coffee machine. And despite many attempts, the receptionist could not come up with another room that had what l wanted ! I had to remind the reception the next morning about this and eventually a coffee machine was brought to my room. One more issue, minibars should be made available again in the rooms at Fleming Schwabing like in the past ! And room service every other day doesn't seem to work automatically, unless housekeeping is informed. Finally, original Nespresso capsules should also be made available again, like in the past ; generic capsules offered with coffee machines are very poor quality !
