The establishment was exceptionally clean and cozy. Although the temperature was slightly elevated, a small fan was thoughtfully provided for our comfort. The staff demonstrated remarkable friendliness and helpfulness, and the breakfast was truly delightful. The location, while not in the city center, was conveniently accessible via a brief subway ride. Moreover, the neighborhood exuded a vibrant atmosphere with an array of charming restaurants and bars. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

Very nice hotel, great service level and large and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast had plenty of choice. Link to public transport is close by in no time I was at the central train station. The surrounding directly at the English garden is amazing for a run in the morning or a walk after the business meeting.

Unfortunately during the time of my stay there where road works on-going which started early in the morning. So keeping the window open wasn’t possible as the noise level was way too loud and even with closed windows it was still noticable.

We spent a week in this beautiful location. Very easy to find, close to metro station and to huge Englischer Garten, linked very well to city center or museums area. Silent neighborhood, quiet and elegant place to stay, good sleep during the nights Many restaurants and places to eat in the area. Good breakfast, nice and clean rooms. We have beautiful memories from this holiday in Munich.

Some warm food at breakfast would be most appreciated, in my opinion, by all clients. Our room had no refrigerator, but this fact was not an inconvenient for us (additionally, a refrigerator can produce some noise).

Staff went above and beyond to direct us to the English garden and beer garden, helped us with finding a train, and gave us a very quiet room on the top floor. Everyone was a very kind and breakfast was delicious. The location is amazing in an upscale neighborhood right next to the english garden. The room and building are very clean and the garden is lovely.

I couldn't see my husband's twin bed from my bed, but this might have been a plus since he was snoring LO.L.

It's a guesthouse for a Catholic academy but you don't necessarily have to be religious to stay or anything. You get a basic private bedroom and a bathroom with decent breakfast included, which at their price is pretty good. The location is also quite nice. The rooms are clean and well maintained. On the first floor there is a beverage self stand where you pay good price for a bottle of beer (I bought from a Rewe express nearby instead and regretted it). Considering how early Bavarian grocery stores close this can be quite helpful.

I'd say the lack of a mini fridge is quite unfortunate, as well as the lack of any cooling methods for the room (fans, AC). This is a summer full of heatwaves mind you. If you keep the windows fully open it doesn't get too stuffy, but then you have to deal with critters flying in because they see the light (not the holy kind).

This place is essentially a religious institution that rents out accommodation when not used for seminars and conferences etc. Hence the accommodation in the grounds of the academy is part of what looks like a former residence of some Catholic official - a bishop or similar - and as a result it is an impressive place to stay. And with park like grounds to match. Also very close to good eating places nearby and of course the 'Englisher Garten'- Munichs answer to Central Park. I would definitely stay again - great ambience and not your run of the mill accommodation.

The location is a little far from the main station but that's the prices for being is such a neighbourhood.

A bit old, but very, very clean. The staff super friendly. Breakfast is just good, nothing special but everything what in a German hotel can offer. The room is small but everything functional. The bathroom small either everything functional, shower is high quality finding the right temperature is easy because of a therm tap, no broken parts just everything working and easy to use. Location is just next to English Garden, if you go there is just peaceful and quiet. If you go to the opposite direction to Münchener Freihet there you can find in just 2–5 minutes walk: locals, restaurant shops in all kind what you need. Metro just 5 minutes walk.

For me, the bed was too soft, and the bedsheets just sweaty. For this price, everything was better than expected.

The location, the cleanliness and the calmness of the place. Also the staff at the reception are great. The garden is marvellous. And being able to walk around the whole place anytime made it feel like home. Also the free coffee all day is a great gesture.

The temperature inside the room is too warm, even after opening the small fan provided or when opening the window. It was still too warm

1. Great location. Right next to the English garden so very quiet but also next to a lively neighborhood with good restaurants. 10 mn walk from the metro. 2. Very friendly and helpful staff. Although I speak German, one woman at the reception switched to French to explain a few things about the hotel. It was not necessary and I appreciated the effort. 3. The room was very clean and warm. The mattress and pillows were perfect for me. The bathroom was modern and comfortable. 4. Gluten free choice at the breakfast. 5. 7/24h free tea and coffee.

Walls are not soundproofed so take earplugs just in case your neighbors are loud (in their rooms or in the corridor). Here I am being picky : I would have liked an armchair in the room to read more comfortably.

Nice rooms in and old castle in the grounds of a Catholic conference centre. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast included. Great price for so close to the centre of Munich. Fabulous park opposite.

The hotel has no parking and finding a space close is a challenge but they can issue a chargeable sticker which gives a significant discount off the parking price.
