There was an online self-check-in which gave us a code key to access the room - hence convenient if arriving late. There was underground parking available (need to drive from the back side of the building - follow instructions in the check-in email). We stayed with a dog, for which we paid extra 10e. The room was clean, the shower was great - had strong water pressure, was spacious. There was TV with Netflix in the room too. The location is great as there is number of local restaurants around as well as grocery shops available.

The bed was too hard for our liking. Also, the neighbourhood is a bit loud - we had a number of people throughout the night shout/sing under our room windows.

Clean and modern.

Like many other reviewers I found check-in very difficult and frankly unnerving. I could not open the door and only thanks to a very friendly guest who helped me did I get in. This is unacceptable and I do not recommend staying here if you are a tourist.

Check-in was simple, without having to go to any desk, just through email. Quite accessible by public transportation, I took a bus from a station near Essen central station around 12 am. The room was clean and neat. Some supermarkets are just in front of the hotel (in the same parking area).

From a solo traveler's perspective, it was a bit uncomfortable that the door was auto-lock opens with pincode from the outside, but you can't lock it from the inside. Only hand and body soap were available (from soap dispenser).

Safe underground parking for your car. There's a supermarket nearby in case you need anything. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and modern. The bed is comfortable. The phone staff was very kind and professional. The hotel is very peaceful and clean.

The self-check-in interface crashed and I had to call the number to help me restore it and get checked in. They helped me reset it and check in. They were very kind and professional. The door lock with the code number was a bit tricky at first. Nothing major, just a couple of notes for other users to read.

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice and I felt like in home The bedroom was clean and we had clean and fresh towels to use. The hotel is located next to two supermarkets and was very userful to have it there

It was just a bit hard to use the card to open the door. Once you understand the system is not that bad. We were not the only ones with that problem because I helped some people that was also fighting with the system trying to come in

Location is silent and even with the view on the road one cannot hear anything with closed wiondows. Below are 2 Supermarkets and Tram conntectiion is 1min away. External window rollo also provides complete darkness if needed. Bed was comfortable.

1 single bed, around 110 cm wide and there was no rexception opened only cleaning stuff so one has to do all online or via selfcheckin machine.

Free car park was very useful and easy to use at any hour. Loved the automated check-in, as long as you give enough details before you arrive you will just get a pin number to enter your room. Makes checking in much better, and more flexible for late arrivals. Trams and busses are really close, cafes and supermarkets downstairs.

Was a little warm during the stay, and there was not much in the room for cooling.

Good comfortable bright room, quiet location, easy to reach by tram. All that at a very good price. Supermarkets just at the corner.

No staff. For me all worked well as I had done pre-check-in online. But I saw that people had problems to handle the self-check-in machine at counter.

Clean room, good garage. Easy access to the room. Comfortable bed.

I would not mind to have kettle in the room and little fridge, that would be great. I would not mind to pay little bit more for it. I have not see anybody from personell so I can not judge.

This is our home away from home! I love it! From the wonderful cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the amazing breakfast down in Edeka center.

There is a coffee machine in the lobby, I wish there were more choices for snacks and beverages. Unfortunately the Edeka center bakery is closed on Sunday’s.
