The room was beautiful! The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was much larger than expected, and we had a tub separate bathtub in the room. Finally, the "foyer" of the room provided for extra sound proofing. There is also an elevator in this hotel which is great. Our family does not have any mobility issues, but someone did, the elevator is very helpful. Breakfast was great! The selection of meats and chesses was fantastic. The eggs were cooked perfectly to order (we ordered sunny side up and boiled)..

Something I was expecting was a coffee machine in the room (nespresso type of machine). We did have tea, though! Otherwise, we liked everything about our stay! The staff was friendly, the room was clean and large. The breakfast was delicious.

This was an amazing hotel that was so warm and welcoming. The staff were lovey and the whole hotel felt more home than the other places we stayed. The staff all worked well together and felt like they enjoyed working at the hotel so that was lovely to see as well. I felt welcomed in a way that we hadn't felt in other parts of Germany. We loved the space in the hotel, there were roomy public areas that the rooms came off. I particularly liked the suit of armor on our floor that welcomed us each time we came back to the room. The hotel was so close to all the main attractions in Rothenburg. We were just down the hill from the main square and townhall. The room itself was more of a suite with a main double with tea and coffee and then an entrance way with hooks for coats, then a second bedroom with twin beds and the bathroom was huge and warm and luxury (it had a bath!!). The restaurant was also amazing. The food was surprisingly good when we ate there in the evening and the breakfast was exceptional as well.

There was nothing I could complain about except the slightly squeeky floors that felt more charming that bothersome. I think it was a 1600 building so it's allowed to have a couple of little quirks. Also when we stay there again we'll arrange a taxi to the hotel, while the walk wasn't terrible, the romantic cobbles around town ended the wheels on our suitcases.

We were so surprised how wonderful the hotel was. We knew it was nice by the pictures online, but it exceeded our expectations. We were a family of four and stayed in the chalet of the hotel. It was big, had more amenities than we expected, parking was right outside our exit, and the staff was super friendly. Oh, and the breakfast was great! The location of the hotel is perfect. We walked out of the front of the hotel and walked up the street to all the shops and main square. We will definitely go back again! We can not say enough good things about the hotel and our stay!

This hotel was located 2 min walk from the main town square where the Christmas markets are and is in a beautiful street. The staff were so friendly and I loved how we were staying in an historic building with great history, which has been decorated beautifully. We got the Classic bedroom, and the beds were comfy, with a large bathroom. Breakfast the next morning was lovely as well, enjoyed having some good old fashion cornflakes and fruit, along with my eggs and coffee. Would definitely stay here again thank you for a.lovely stay and for also booking a taxi for us back to the train station. Nothing was a problem.for the staff at this hotel. we even got a little history lesson, which was a bonus!

Beautiful, traditionally styled hotel in the centre of Rothenburg. Ideal for Christmas markets. Parking on site at extra cost, but make sure to approach it from the North! Good size room and modern bathroom. Very helpful and friendly staff. Small Cafe on site, but no restaurant, although there are plenty within a short walk.

There is a church opposite with a chime every hour, although this was not a big problem as the room was well insulated. The bed was initially a bit hard, but the staff put on a mattress topper, which was perfect.

A great location and excellent service are the cornerstone of my rating. The staff was always very accommodating and informative. The elevator is very convenient and fast. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully appointed. The included breakfast consisted of a wide variety of coldcuts, eggs to order, fruits, bakery items, and muesli. I would definitely come back to this location again.

I didn't have a lot of success in getting the shower temperature right. It would change without warning too hot or too cold, but my wife didn't experience that.

What a beautiful property right on one of the main streets close to the center of town! We came for Christmas markets and enjoyed how it was just a few minutes walk away but also so quiet. We had a room for three people that was extremely nice, clean and quite big with a gorgeous, new, huge bathroom with excellent facilities! We slept so well in a very comfortable bed. Everything about our stay was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing! Really nice selection along with fresh eggs and coffee to order. We had drinks in the cozy, decorated Weinstube before the night watchman tour, and our server was so nice! We definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay again!

Wonderful sized room(s) that included plenty of room to lay out suitcases, closet space counter credenza, desk area, nice size bathroom. Very roomy private parking area in the back, as well as an easy to park area directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Quiet area of town, except for church bells. Which we thoroughly enjoyed. Allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel after checkout so we could spend a few hours more exploring the city. This included allowing us to keep our car in their private parking area as well.

It was a shame that their restaurant was closed due to the economic conditions created by the covid years, resulting in the loss of their very fine chef. Evidently. This was not an uncommon experience for like businesses in the area. This did not negatively impact our experience at all.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The location is perfect to the shops, market area, restaurants and the Christmas markets. The town is beautiful and the history so interesting! Parking is easy! Breakfast was delicious.

The bed was very uncomfortable. I would rate a 10 if not for the comfort of the bed. The room itself is spacious and clean. The bed is two twin mattresses pushed together. So there is a crack down the center. It’s a very thin mattress which made it hard to sleep. But, other than that, our stay was perfect!

The staff at Hotel BurgGartenpalais were very kind and accommodating to our family. They made us feel very welcome! We stayed in the family suite, which had ample space for us and our three children. Our room was quiet and looked over the neighboring rooftops. The hotel is perfectly situated to explore Rothenburg ob der Tauber. We walked the old walls, the path outside the walls, and the many cobblestone streets. We were just minutes from Marktplatz and Jacobskirche. The breakfast was delicious and had many different items. The back patio restaurant looked like a lovely place to relax and have a nice dinner.
