It’s a beautiful hotel, very comfortable room and bed and excellent attention to detail. We got a beautiful baby cot (not one of those foldable ones), with a cute bedtime story and gift for the baby which was so lovely. The restaurant served delicious food and the breakfast was also excellent.

The only thing that would have made our trip better is if there had been an option for a less formal dinner, for example in the bar. This is only because we had a long drive and were not neccesarily in the mood for formal dining.

Exemplary attention to detail! Loved the harmonious forest-themed ambiance, from the soothing scent to the delightful wall decorations. Thoughtful touch of providing a glass cup for tea and a bone china cup for coffee. The fly screen for the window was a great addition. The timer for tea brewing during breakfast was a wonderful convenience and a gummy sleep sheep pack on the bed was a fun surprise

Had an issue with the payment process. Even though I chose to pay at the property, the full amount was temporarily locked on my credit card without prior notice. Apparently, it's their strategy to prevent fake bookings. While I understand their reasoning, it would have been helpful to know this beforehand to make an informed decision.

I had a single room, and even though it was small, it was not too small. I loved the view onto the forest. It also had a great balcony, which I didn't even know about.

Although I liked the glass walls of the shower area, it was odd that the mirror was squeezed into the small space next to the toilet.

Getting to the hotel is the only drawback but once I was there I was delighted by the people and facility, ease of parking. I love the aroma of the hotel and breakfast was had everything you could ask for. I was pleasantly surprised by the dinner option, the white glove service and quality of the food was lovely.

Its a little out of the way and slightly difficult to find. Also the one-way road in front of the hotel makes leaving the hotel different from coming, so you need to find your way. That said, once you've done it once or twice, its easy enough.

The parking in the garage was quite expensive considering the cost of the hotel and the fitness facilities were really really small - the main training machine was out of order

Very nice hotel located in a green area. The room was spotless, the welness area was great and the hotel's terrace & garden were beautiful.

The room was less soundproof than expected. The glass wall of the bathroom is very design but not very practical, by turning the light on in the bathroom the entire room is lightened as well, which disturbs the persons in the room, especially if they sleep.

Actually everything. We stopped at the Waldhotel Stuttgart on our way back from Italy to Hamburg. We checked-in late night and everything was prepared well in advance at the reception, so it was really a quick one. We travelled with our dog, so we got a water bowl, a treat and poop bags for our dog in the room. Also, they provide a dog bed if you need it, but we had his own bed, so we didn’t ask for it. Next to the hotel is this big forest, where we had a long walk, the breakfast was fabulous with a lot of options, there is a big garden where we spent sometime in the sun, the spa was really nice and clean. Also, as the hotel knew that it was my birthday, they sent to the room a nice birthday card and some sweets very nicely decorated. That was really very thoughtful surprise from their end. All in all, I always had a feeling that they took care of the smallest details during our stay and made it really comfortable. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We definitely will go back if we are around that area.

During my stay i opted for the King bed but i didn't know it was actually going to be 2 twin beds together. Not a big problem, had i known before I would've done the queen instead. I just think it needed to be more clear online.

The location, although a bit put of town was wonderful. Being next to the forest to walk and enjoy the beautiful surroundings was the best. My room was simply awesome and the bed and bedding heavenly. The staff was great and very friendly. The Waldhotel is a treat deluxe.
