The hotel was chosen mainly for its location - just next to famous Ports Nigra leading to the Old City. The parking was very convenient - for 10 euros we could park our car in the hotel's private garage just opposite. Breakfast was fine, also very cozy atmosphere. The room was comfortable and the bathroom quite convenient, the only issue was that water was spattering on the floor from the shower,

Our room faced quite a busy street leading to the city center so it was a bit noisy.

This hotel was simply outstanding- very classy interior furnishings, well thought out facilities inside and outside the rooms. What was very unique was the studio we got, which had a shelf of books that became an open divider between the bedroom and the kitchen . The latter was well equipped for cooking a real meal for a family or guests. Porto Nigra is above there when it comes to hotels!

The only thing they could improve on is to have the lights on in the hallways because when we came in late in the night carrying our things, we couldn't see right away where the door/ steps/ elevator was.

The hotel was good, the room was cosy and because we were family it had also a kitchen and a curtain in the middle of the room in order to separate the room into two different parts so the kids will not see you. It was in one minute distance from Porta Negra and 2 minutes from the city center. The parking with extra cost was opposite of the hotel.

There were 2 steps in the room that when you have small kids they may cause an accident. We paid 10 euros pp for the breakfast. I think when we booked it there was a mark of 9 euros.

Online check-in with the passcode was easy. The room was well furnished with a comfortable bed. Good breakfast with fresh rolls. The hotel has a great location only 10 minutes walk from the station and right next to the historic Porta Nigra.

A mirror in the bathroom would have helped. The breakfast area was very congested with a long queue for tea / coffee.

I was staying in the Two-Bedroom Apartment. There is a separate entrance from the inner courtyard. Description: ground floor - just an entrance, there is nothing there. 1st floor - a bedroom of approx. 25 m, a comfortable bed for 2, a desk, a couch for 2 people, a bathroom - approx. 15-18 m with a shower, a jacuzzi ( did not use one), a washing machine, a filly equipped kitchen - approx.12 m with a big refrigerator and a table for 4-5 people. There is an open wardrobe between a bed and a couch. 2nd floor- a bedroom - approx 18 m. Very clean. The apartment was not cleaned during my stay, but it was advised on their website, so no surprise. 150 m from Porta Nigra. Parking is available in a gated courtyard across the street ( need to reserve). There is no 24-hours reception: they leave keys in a box outside instead and send a code for late guests.

Just to notice: there is no elevator in the apartment, there is a staircase of 16 steps from the ground level to the 1st floor and another 12-14 steps to the second floor.

Very centric, close to the station and really easy to get access once you have the codes. It has also a convenient supermarket literally next door.

I think the process to check-in outside normal working hours and getting the code could be better explained, but at the end is not that complex and it's true the information is there.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was substancial with fresh free range eggs, and a true continental meal. We had plenty of towels, the beds were made daily, and if pj's were left on bed, they were neatly folded. Staff were cordial when asked questions or making a complaint (heating). Would stay there again.

The seating area chairs were very uncomfortable, and the overhead lighting a little dim. We had a heating problem with the apartment being too hot, but they fixed it promptly.

It was our 2nd time staying. They have made improvements since our last stay approximately a year and a half ago. Staff very friendly.

The chairs in the apartment are very uncomfortable. Since the couch served as pull out, there were no alternatives, except for the kitchen chairs.

It's a great place, very convenient location, beautiful flat, very clean and equipped with all you need. We arrived late evening, there was tea, coffee, sugar, milk, very nice. There is a marker downstairs, 1 minute walk from the hotel, open till 9pm where you can get everything if needed.

Very centrally located to the city center. We were right across the street from Porta Nigra and we able to reach our destination (the Christmas Market) with a short walk.

The noises from the hallway when other guests were going to their rooms at night was audible. Mostly just from them talking and being loud but some soundproofing under the front door would have been nice. It didn't last very long and may be not that common but that's what I noticed.
