The location is perfect - very close to the main attractions in town. The room we had was on the 3rd floor - so a bit of a hike - and the elevators are not very convenient - and only go up to the second floor. But other than that things were perfect. The breakfast spread was nice - but a bit overpriced at 14 euros per person - most other places it was 7-10 and had a very similar spread. The staff were super helpful - and the parking was perfect as well - right at the property - but for an extra charge of 20 Euros.
Overall the place is really nice - which is why it has great reviews. But our room was a bit inconvenient - I'm sure the other rooms are better.

Very nice hotel in a great location, close to the Porta Nigra and city centre just a few minutes walk away. It was easy to find and parking was easy to get in to. Plenty of parking spaces as well. We received a warm welcome and were able to check in right away. Our room was overlooking the main road which was noisy with the windows open. It was also very hot when we stayed here but sadly there was no air con. There was a fan in the room but it was that hot, the fan didn’t make much difference. The room was large and clean, same with the bathroom. The bed was comfy but the pillow was a bit soft and I normally sleep on 3 pillows so I rolled my duvet up and put it under the pillow. I didn’t need the duvet due to the heat so why not, it worked and I got a good nights sleep. The shower was lovely with great water pressure. Breakfast was very good with everything you needed and the staff kept everything topped up. I was sorry we didn’t stay here longer but we have said we will go back when we can spend a couple of days there to explore the area more. Hopefully it won’t be as hot next time. I did find Woolworths in the city centre and couldn’t resist shopping in there which meant we then had to walk back to the hotel with all the shopping I purchased. The cathedral was a lovely place to visit as well. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the city centre to choose from. They had a big music festival on in the centre but we was leaving the day it started sadly and missed it. So overall a great place to stay with helpful friendly staff,
It needed air con due to the heat.

This is an well fitted hotel, in the town center, at a walkable distance from the old/touristic zone (as its” name suggests), with a safe parking and a homy breakfast room (and good and various dishes). The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and spotless clean, with comfortable beds. The courtesy of the personnel completed our short but very pleasant stay in the so beautiful town of Trier. With its reach history, Trier deserves at least 2 or 3 days to learn about the two thousands life of the oldest city in Germany.
As I said, a longer stay would have been worth. We were for the second time in Trier, thinking that one day will be enough to see again the places we've loved, but no, it was too little.

It’s clean, comfortable and so mouth wateringly close to the main square and Porta Nigra we were always spoilt for choice when it came to things to do. There is also chemists, Aldi, pizza, restaurants and lovely walks. It’s busy on the street at night, but the double glazing gives great sound proofing.
Only negative - We would have loved tea/coffee facility in the room but an exceptional buffet downstairs and the staff were happy to provide a kettle and mugs.

Really nice, cosy stay with good choice of colors for curtains etc. There was enough space in the room and bathroom. Quick walking distance to Porta Nigra, and to the Altstadt. Car park had plenty of space, it was OK for €10 per day. The hotel is accessible at any time with the keycard. But the reception for check-in has specific hours. Specially it close a bit early on Sundays. We stayed there on Easter holidays.
It was not one bed, but two singles together.

Great area, friendly staff, large rooms and very clean. Easy walk to the Christmas market and cathedral.
We liked everything. If you have a lot of luggage, small kids or have mobility issues - you will need to stay on one of the lower levels as the elevator only goes to the second floor. Just make sure to check before booking. We had none of the above so the stairs were fine for us.

This is a 'way above average' hotel. Why? The staff is very friendly and flexible, the rooms are clean, the beds are excellent and large, and there is a private parking that's fully surveyed by camera's. On top of that: the beautiful city center of Trier is very close, and if you need basic stuff: there are 2 supermarkets, and a bakery close by. We only spent 2 days here but would come back to this hotel. Last but not least: excellent breakfast. The rooms are accessible by an elevator and are individually airconditioned.

This hotel is in pristine condition. Everything is in tip top condition and neatly decorated. From the parking, to the corridors, to the rooms, you can easily tell the property is well maintained. The bathroom has a good size shower and is clean. The bed and pillows are of good quality and comfortable. The parking is also large and convenient
The only real drawback is the fact that the rooms don't have a fridge or coffee maker. But it is a small inconvenient considering what you get for your money.

Fantastic location, close to Porta Nigra and plenty of bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful - when we arrived early we were able to leave the car in the car park (reserved in advance), complete check-in and then return later for the key. Very spacious, clean modern room.
Breakfast was quite expensive - which wasn't actually a problem as supermarkets and bakeries were nearby.

The hotel had nice large very clean rooms with a balcony. It was extremely quiet. The staff was very nice.
THe location is not far from the center, but I was on foot so it took some walking to get into the historic town whereas many clients probably come with a car. I was on an upper floor so after taking an elevator, there was another flight to climb. But these are not really complaints, only observations.
