Great location Big room and balcony Tasty breakfast Friendly stuff Really good price We stayed here for 4 nights in April and enjoyed it. Our arrival was late, after midnight, but they didn't have any problem with that. Breakfast had different options every day, we were satisfied each morning. Room was clean and spacious. If you don't expect luxury, I would recommend this hotel to you.

Double bed had two mattresses that were moving Few ants in the bathroom, but it didn't bother as at all

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The responsible were always trying to get feedback from us and interact with us. Location was good; if it was peak season it would be more lively but it feels safe. Room is clean and big, as well as the balcony.

The setting of the shower area - it won’t be flooding but the water is definitely accumulating a bit outside of the shower area. But it is alright. It always got cleaned the next day. Some room doors are just right next to each other. If your neighbour is not considerate and just pulls the door closed when they leave or push it closed when they come, it will be so loud that your heart might skip a beat. (It happened to me for two nights and it scared me to death and my second night was full of nightmares until they checked out early around 7 am.)

The hotel was beautiful and well kept. Our room was spacious and clean (We only stayed two nights so we opted out of room cleaning) The location is excellent, it’s walking distance from beach, shopping, good restaurants and clubs. Breakfast was really good. The staff was super friendly❤️

The only minor thing was that there isn’t any tilt on bathroom floor which means that the water will stay on the floor and the floor did stay pretty wet after shower. This wasn’t a big problem and a quick fix for this would be to provide all rooms with bathroom floor wiper:)

Me and my husband arrived at the hotel in one of the most heartbreaking day the island had to face: the day where the fires spread so much that sooo many locals and turists had to be evacuated in emergency from the south of the island. I can not even imagine how devastating it was for the locals working in the hotel yet they remained so professional and friendly and helpful, always with a smile, always with an advice, keeping us informed all the way and reassuring us. Just for that, the hotel deserves a 10 out of 10! As for the hotel itself: the location is probably one of the best you can get in Rhodes town, 10 min from both beaches (Elli and the windy one), surrounded by everything you need - very good restaurants and bars, shops, bakery, supermarkets. The harbor for cruises is also nearby (10 min walking) and the Old town a 15 min walk. The room was spotless clean, everyday we had cleaning service. There were no mosquitoes or any other insects. The bed was ultra comfortable, the clime worked perfectly fine. No problems with water pressure (except for the occasional cuts of water and electricity in the first days due to the fires but than everything went back to normal). The breakfast is absolutely ok, continental type with bread, egs, cheese, some types of meat, vegetables, some cakes. Everyday some type of pie/pastry sweet or salty was baked and everytime it was delicious. All in all, if ever we'll come back to Rhodes (and I believe we will), we'll definitely choose the same hotel!

I understand that it is a common problem in Rhodes but indeed there were moments where the water was gathering a bit in a corner of the bathroom but nothing that was not fixable with passing the towel and let it dry. Also, there were times that the fridge made a funny noise but it was not constant. As an improvement I would suggest to put in the bathroom a toilet brush.

We had the perfect stay at Santa Maria City Hotel. Everyone was super friendly, Eva at the front desk greeted us with all the recommendations of things we can do on Rhodes. The location of the hotel is perfect, you can find everything within walking distance, including great restaurants, bars, beaches and shops. Old town was about 15-20 minutes away walking. Our room was spacious and always perfectly cleaned, with a very big modern bathroom. Everything from the breakfast buffet was delicious and home made, there were different options each day. We rented a car for our stay and were a bit concerned about parking but we could easily find spots around the hotel.

The hotel and all the facility was so clean and the staff were the most best staff ever I’ve seen in my life they were really friendly and so kind with everyone. There’s nothing to complain about.

We stayed in this hotel for four days and we spent beautiful time. We thank Letta for the nice hospitality!!! The breakfast was very very good not only salad, but also for sweets. The chef was always very kind and smiling all the time. The bedrooms were modern and confortable. Plastic free in the bathroom and clean. Eccellent position to go everywhere. Letta gave us the possibility to leave the laggage to satisfy every needs.

Clean, quiet and comfortable, used for one night stays on arrival to Greece and on leaving whilst on route to the Dodecanese Islands . Only a 15 minutes walk to the bus station for the airport. Helpful street map provided , plus recommendations of restaurants. Extremely welcoming and informative reception casual dress and a joy to be in the company of. Thank you Maria and Eva . It might have been nice if a large bottle of water was available in the room fridge.

The location is excellent, in the city center, walking distance from the beach, and the old town, near some great restaurants. Rarely do we have enough coat hangers, but this hotel had it! AC was doing a great job dealing with the heat and humidity. The bathroom is spacious and luxurious looking. Parking is not available on site, but you can find some on the streets nearby. If there is no space in the street, try the one by the oval park, just down the road, across the first intersection. Value for money is good with this hotel.

We got the feeling that they look to cut every corner available. For example, we only got 1 tiny shower gel and shampoo per person for 7 days! There is no chairs in the apartment, just 2 on the terrace, which is not very spacious nor with a good look. And the whole apartment seems a bit underfurnished. The beds are OK, but the mattress is not fixed in any way to the bed housing in any way, so it moves about. The breakfast is tasty but be sure to get up early, or you will be left with only small amounts of food to chose from, they don't fill up as much as they should. None of the above is a deal breaker but should be noted.

The location of the hotel is very suitable for walking to the city center and beach. It is close to the restaurants and old town. Maria at the reception gave us detailed information about attractions, restaurants and also delicious gelatos. She is very helpful and kind staff. We are so happy for her contribution to us. If we will come again to Rhodes we hope to stay again in this hotel. The breakfast is very good and enough.

There may be coffee, tea and water in the rooms.
