The location was superb - just out of the way, but only a few minutes walk to the busy areas. Given the constraints of the building and indeed the city itself, the hotel has made a superb job of the rooms and the layout. This is Central America so there are no soft furnishings (carpets, curtains etc) so sound will travel, but overall this was excellent value for money, clean and comfortable. I found each and every one of the staff absolutely superb (if you are not a prima donna, staff will always respond well to you) Nothing was too much trouble. Yes the bathroom was small, but it was functional and had everything I needed as a solo traveller.

I thought everything was good - I suppose the bathroom in my room was a bit small (if I am to pick out something) and you will have to carry your cases up the stairs - but the staff did offer to help.

Friendliest staff ever. They invited me to help make their street mural. This is not a fancy hotel but everything was clean and pleasant and the staff were delightful.

My room was the last one available so near the front and the noise of the bar, the street, and neighboring dogs. But they told me and even offered to have the bar turn down the music. I decided to ignore it til 10:30 when everything quieted down anyway. I expect the other rooms which were more removed were quieter.

The roof. Go up two flights of stairs! Great view. And the library near by if you need to work. But the really really really great thing about the place is the people who work there. They are the nicest hosts imaginable. Very kind, good humored, funny even… they feel like your family after one day!

The internet isn’t great. Not good for working sadly, but just pop down to the library a block away. It is a fantastic place to work.

Room was a good size with plenty of wardrobe space for storage, room was immaculately clean and cleaned daily. Breakfast was great. Mixed fruits, coffee, bread butter and local jam. Delicious and most enjoyable on the roof terrace. The roof terrace was a great place to relax and watch the volcano. The staff couldn't be more helpful, I just wish I knew more spanish to be able to interact more but english was also fine

Downstairs bedrooom opened onto dining area and the hotel bar pumped music out all day until 11pm which is only 2m from bedroom. The loud music is the only flaw to this hotel, but it made me move to a similar hotel for remainder of trip.

Really nice small hotel, in the centre of Antigua. The breakfast is full of fruits, and the people of the hotel are super friendly and clean. Also they arranged a tour for us to Acatenango with Soy Tours, which outperforms the other more commercial ones easily, with very good pricing, support local communities and the friendliest of guides. Would love to come back here one day!

An excellent place to stay in Antigua. Comfortable, clean room. Lovely quiet roof terrace with views over the rooftops to the volcano. Good location close to everything. Tasteful and relaxing communal spaces. Great free breakfast. Above all, very friendly and helpful staff. The place to stay in Antigua!

Perfect location and the terrace is amazing! Had an amazing view of the volcanoes and we could see Fuego erupting at night.

My only complaint is the wifi, it only works in certain parts of the hotel and if it does work, half the time it was very slow. Not a huge issue though if you don’t need to get any work done.

I like that it is well located and the staff was super nice.

Common or sitting areas are right next to the rooms windows so you can’t really open the windows to let air in. Also, the tv only has like 10 channels and they are all in spanish so that was a bummer. Apart from that, I never managed to get hot water to shower :(

The hotel was everything that you would want in a small hotel. The customer service was fantastic, the location was central to everything, the free breakfast was good, it was clean and the bathroom was large.

There really weren't any issues other than the wifi connection right in the room was spotty. However, right outside the door it was very strong.
