The hotel was in a wonderful location, so close to everything! The staff was very welcoming and helpful, the pool was clean and refreshing, and the room was big and decorated beautifully. Our room wasn’t ready when we got there so they gave us the option to stay in a different room with a king bed but they did warn us it was over a bar that would be loud till 1 in the morning. Since we had just come back from hiking the Acetenango volcano we knew that sleep would come easily despite the noise and therefore we accepted the kind upgrade. The room was big and had a private terrace and was perfect for our needs. We slept soundly but honestly we were so exhausted that nothing could have kept us awake. If you are at all a light sleeper or are sensitive to noise I would not take this room. We appreciated that the hotel was upfront about the noise situation and like I said we were not affected by it but could have been had it been another day on our travels. The location, the pool, and the friendliness of the staff would definitely make me book this place again!

The bed was very hard and the room above the bar is very loud.

Establish a more guest-respectful procedure to track and bill for any in-room snacks consumed. The convenience of having the snacks available in each room has a modest value, but treating guests as if they are thieves immediately upon check in and then not letting them leave until it’s been confirmed that they are billed for any snacks they consumed is demeaning and subtracts from all the value of the snacks in the first place. Find a respectful procedure to track the snacks in the rooms or don’t offer the snacks in the first place.

Convenient location in the heart of Antigua. Staff was always helpful and friendly.

Location is next to a bar as accurately stated in the hotel description. So what i didn’t like is just confirmation through experience of it at night. Since we had to keep windows open to keep the room cooler, we heard the bar patrons clearly. However we had the fan on and white noise on the phone playing noise which helped cover it up and we slept ok. So the overall experience can’t be a 10 however it only goes down to an 8.

Lovely hotel, we loved the colourful decoration and the pool. Breakfast at their sister hotel was great, you can get a ticket for a discount. Coffee is available to help yourself to which is a nice touch. Staff were helpful with all our questions, organising tours, laundry etc.

Noise from next door bar but wasn't too bad with earplugs in (during our stay it finished by 12) and it was so convenient to be so central that we didn't mind putting up with it.

Place was indoor/outdoor, our room was separate from people, so you feel more private. Room was right near the pool which was great, quiet and enjoyable before starting out the day. Coffee, hot water and filtered water available all day near it. Water in the shower was hot & pressure wasn't terrible. After a certain hour, front gate was only accessible by being buzzed in by front desk, which makes you feel much more secure. 24 hr front desk. Rooms were spacious. Within walking distance of a lot of main things. Good wifi. Late checkout.

They were a bit stingy with towels. When asked for extra because we were 3 people, it felt like they were counting. Service took a bit long. Beds didn't seem "queen size" and were a bit firm. Water pressure in shower, sink and bathroom could use some work. Lighting in room could be better. Seemed very dim. Right near a very loud and popular bar, so can get noisy (but music stops 1230ish).

Staff were wonderful. Facilities are really good. Loved the sauna and the pool, beautiful gardens. Everything was great. Location perfect. Room perfect.

Umbrellas for guest use would have been perfect, we got wet many times and didn't want to have to buy umbrellas as we didn't have space for them in our cabin luggage. The noise from the bars at night. The stop on toilet overflow didn't work, had to manually fix the loo everytime we flushed. The mattresses were far too hard for me, made my hips hurt and I didn't sleep so comfortably, but that's me, some people like a super firm mattress.

Overall very accommodating and very close to everything. The staff was friendly and helped answer questions for us. They were great to help provide transportation from the airport and to head to the airport.

Found a few cockroaches in the room roaming around and had to kill them, but it’s expected with bugs in Antigua

This place is so beautiful! It may seem pricey but this is a 5 star hotel, it is 100% worth it. We had the room with spa access which was so cool being able to walk from our room to the spa in our robes and have our own private lounge area. All the little touches and amenities truly set it apart. We booked this hotel after doing a difficult 2 day volcano hike and we are so glad to have booked it, especially for the spa!! 10/10 recommend. We also stayed at Meson Panza Verde and this is much nicer honestly.

I found a wrapper in my robe, indicating the robe was not clean. Other than that it was a great stay.

Very helpful staff who organised, via WhatsApp, a taxi to pock me up at the airport and drive me to the hotel. They found extra blankets for me when I said I was cold at night and answered a heap of other questions I had. It's in a great location and my room was very quiet. I would have stayed longer if they'd had a room available. Wifi worked well. Clean too.

Location was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. I did enjoy the fresh coffee, tea, and water. Having water to refill my thermos meant no plastic waste. The staff are can book tours if needed. I did a fantastic free walking tour (tips are appreciated) with Guru walking tours. It came reccomended by the staff. It was informative and fun. Thanks!

There are a few bars located next to hotel which share a wall near the pool so it can be loud in the evening.
