The location is right by the docks, markets, etc. It is off the main street, so easy access, and since it's a little off the main street it is fairly quiet. The room was a good size (not big) and clean. The shared bathrooms were very clean. Showers are hit and miss in Panajachel and it was one of the better one's in my experience. The staff were very kind and helpful. I got caught in the pouring rain with my dog one night and they got me an extra towel for her. When I had to get my car out, they helped direct me, which I needed because the driving area is tiny.

Parking is not good. The space is enough for two cars and a motorcycle, but they packed 3 cars in, then one of the staff parked a personal car behind the guests so they had to move it before I could leave. My rental car got a scratch on it because the driveway had only about 6 inches on each side of the car (I exaggerate, but it is extremely narrow). Even with the help of staff guiding me, it was a struggle. Parking is never easy in Panajachel, though, so it's not a criticism of the hostel itself. I do not recommend driving yourself to Panajachel if you can avoid it.

Very comfortable, my price was very affordable. Free coffee in the morning is always a winner. Fountain was nice, cute parrot in the garden who talks, any service you could need, laundry that turns around same day.

Not really their fault, but when I arrived the room was full of mosquitos. Found literally 15+ waiting for me and had to deal with them. Haven’t had this anywhere else around the lake, so it’s fine but just make sure you check the room thoroughly before sleeping. Room needed a new fan, looked like it was about to fall off the ceiling and made lots of noise. One member of staff was a bit short with me when I asked questions in my best, but broken Spanish, felt this was a little harsh.

The rooms were nice and clean. The staff were very accommodating. We had an issue with our original beautiful rooms were on the second floor and all the bathrooms were on the ground floor. There was no way 2 women in their 70s could transverse the spiral staircase to the bathroom. The next day they accommodated us with ground floor rooms next to the bathrooms. We really appreciated their consideration. We really liked that the location is very secure. They lock the gates at night. So no one off the street could walk in. The gardens were lovely❣️

After the location of our rooms and the bathroom was corrected, there is nothing I didn't like. Room 14 needs a brighter light bulb. It was difficult to see. With our limited Spanish, we were unable to communicate this effectively.

Great location down a quiet alley on main commercial street. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Having a kitchen was great, as was the free coffee. the property was very basic as expected for the price but very comfortable with nice chairs outside the room for enjoying the air. Recommend second floor rooms for the view.

There are a lot of roosters! (This is just a fact of the area - but they start at about 1am and go all night - so bring ear plugs or play white noise. I'm not sure how loud it could get, given the shared terraces that run the front of the building and the fact that you need to open the windows for air - we had no problems at all, but I could see issues if other people were staying up late.

Place is very central, room was clean and spacious, with enough plugins and shelves for the belongings. Bathroom is enough big with good shower, internet is working well. I liked the location, 50 m away from the main street, quite quiet for good sleep.

I expected more kitchen-there was just free coffee, without cooking facilities. They also overcharge washing laundry, the general price in town is 50 % lower, in any case not expensive. Not sociable guests, maybe just a feeling... Just remark-in Panajachel have in mind, that agencies do not offer direct transport over the border destinations (ex. San Cristobal...) on saturdays and sundays, just during the week.

Maybe this is because I stayed here on Monday night and Tuesday night. I didn't hear that much noises at night. Sure, there was a bar near by that was blasting High School Musical songs. But, they ended around 10 pm so it was all good. There is a parrot that likes to stay hello to everyone in the morning. Lol. Aside from that, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom is is on the smaller side, but no complaints. The location is great - it's right by the lake.

The internet was spotty. Our room #5 is on the top of the stairs so we can hear people climbing up/down the stairs.

Very friendly, hard working staff. Property and rooms kept clean. Family friendly. We enjoyed the parrot Paco and Michael, the cat. As well as, the many beautiful plants and flowers. We did hear roosters and turkeys every morning, so no need for an alarm clock. Great location for walking, right on the Main street and very close to the lake.

Pillows a little thin and mattresses pretty firm, but still slept well.

Our room featured it's own little patio with a lovely garden. There were 3 beds. The staff was helpful. This is my second stay at the property and we love the parrot, fish pond and gardens. Location is perfect, especially if you are moving on to other ares of Lake Atitlan and price is reasonable. They also have free coffee!

Were were hoping to sleep in but the very diligent cleaning staff were outside the window around 8 am. (i appreciate the cleanliness though!)

The staff were incredible. Kind and patient with us as we were checking in later and with a lot of bags. The place looks serene with plenty of beautiful plants and flowers surrounding you. The complimentary they tea and coffee was a great bonus. Beds were comfortable and wifi reliable. The parrot was a cutie as well. Great value!

The bathroom was quite small and full of ants, but other than that no complaints.

This was a cute little oasis tucked away in a great location. The staff was so kind. They answered so many questions prior to my arrival and checked in on me throughout my stay, as I was traveling alone. You could tell they genuinely cared about their customers and enjoyed our presence. I will absolutely stay here again. I plan to bring my kids next time. The property was well kept and clean, it was a great place to relax.
