I first started using hotel Amadeus about 10 years ago when I came to the dentist. It was always full, buzzy and busy, with great breakfast and even a sauna. It’s about 5 years since I was last here and it’s sad to see the effects of the covid cold. The country restrictions meant a lack of tourists and dental clients, which means they obviously had to minimise staff. Notwithstanding the disruption of the last 2.5 years, Hotel Amadeus is my home when I’m in Budapest. The staff are the best, the rooms are huge complete with sofa and writing table, the beds are comfy and I love the big white cotton duvet they give you. I have a balcony, and a good breakfast. The staff go beyond to help you. Across the road there is a shop open 24/7 snd a van that sells chicken. You can eat the food that you have brought in from outside in their restaurant. Thank you Anna and Lazlo for always making my stay at Amadeus great. These lockdowns have brought untold problems to normal people and I get angry just thinking about it. Well done Hotel Amadeus for always being fantastic despite the madness that we all have had to endure.

Breakfast was adequate, staff was supper nice and super helpful. Room was warm and cozy, the bed was comfortable as well. Location wasn't great as such for tourists, but it was super close to where I needed to be for work.

The central heating was on and off sometimes during the day, and there was no hot water at times as well. Hotel might need some renovation in the near future, but it's really not bad. Other than that, I have no complaints as the service as a whole was really good, especially for the price.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. They were always available to assist with any questions or requests, and their friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. The room itself was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially during the hot days, and it worked perfectly throughout my stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room was equipped with all the amenities I needed. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail, the excellent service, and the overall ambiance made my stay truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend Hotel Amadeus to anyone looking for a nice hotel experience. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Budapest!

The hotel is very nice and decent. The location is quite good, 30-40mins walk from Puskas Ferenc Stadium which is great if you are visiting an event there like we did. It has a pastry shop and a grocery store a cross the street, a free parking available plus the hotel has its own underground parking and a bus/train stop right in front of it. The staff is very friendly and communicative. The room is decent and clean, nice beds and it has air conditioning. The hotel also has a bar and a restaurant which we didn’t try. If you are looking a place to stay a few nights, this is the spot!

Walls are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbors and our room had a shared terrace which is not so bad but some people may not like it.

Hotel is in the peacful part of the City. Metro station is only one bus station away from the hotel. In front of the Hotel You have a bus in every 3-5 minutes. 24h/7 store is a cross from the Hotel. Personel in the Hotel is great, hospitality is 10+.. You can use free parking space.

Nice, clean room. The hotel is about 6 kilometers from the city center, but there is public transportation available right in front of the hotel. So the location is great, free open parking available in front of the hotel.

Everything was Ok. I didn't have a meal plan. I can't comment on the food.

The staff were more than great! I had some personal conversations with some of them, everyone was so nice and always greeted me with a smile. The hotel is close to a mall, restaurants, supermarkets, and the metro. I recommend it to everyone.

we stayed 4 nights and had a great holiday at this hotel. the room & bathroom was arranged and it was very clean. in the bathroom we had towels, shampoo, soap etc. It was hot in the room and we always had hot water, the bed was very comfortable. the staff from reception were very friendly, and free parking is a bonus, given that all parking in Hungary is for paid. the bus station is fixed in front of the hotel. to get to the center take bus 80 to the end, after which you can walk by feet to discover Budapest, the city is so beautiful. if not, take the bus to the center for a few more stops. the city is very well connected, and all means of transport come very quickly. you don't need a personal car to get around the city. overall, we liked everything. when we return to Budapest, we will stay here

Clean big comfortable rooms with parking nearby. Nice stuff,late check in.Good for transit staying cause little near far from the centre and will be comfortable for gusts with car but as I see it’s nice and area of city so will be not hard to take any transport to get to the centre

Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Easy access to all public transport in all directions. 24hrs shop opposite.
