The location is excellent, for that money you also get free parking which is not usually the case. You need 10 minutes of walk to be at city centar. The stuff is very nice and helpful 👍, and speak English, i liked the lamp in our room. The room had enough space for 3 of us.

They say its 4 star hotel,however the facility is more in range of 3 stars so don't expect anything luxurious. It looks clean but if you look closely not that much, walls are way to thin so you constantly hear people from other rooms. Wifi is very bad, also you get disconnected very often and you have to login again. We were there for 2 nights so it was okay and we would come again bcs of location, but its far away from 4 stars hotel where i was few months ago. Room facilities were okay, except tv and air conditioner, remote was not working for both :/,also sheets are from very poor quality for such hotel. Overall it could be amazing hotel with few changes.

Very good location 12 minutes from the main square. Free parking provided, and we were allowed to leave the car parked for three more hours after the checkout from the room <3 Room was clean and well maintained, large tv, balcony entering the back yard. Bathroom was clean, well arranged and equipped with toiletries. Very good heating options, as this was important in our case (we travelled in December). We particularly liked the heavy, dense blackout curtains, and would recommend the hotel to include it explicitly among the offered advantages! <3 Breakfast was nice and we could choose among things. Both ladies we met at the reception were very nice, helpful and welcoming. Thank you sincerely for making our time in Szeged well remembered!

the AC in the room had a light on it that kept flashing green, and we couldn't figure out how to turn it off, that was a bit annoying the showerhead holder could not be adjusted, it kept sliding down the shower was leaking so there was a bit of water after the shower on the floor

I was a guest of the Vén Diófa De Lux Panzió for the third time and can say for sure -it is the best quality/price place in Szeged. The hotel is perfectly located - 7 minutes walk and you are in the center with a lot to do things. The building's design is charming, the parking place is free of charge and spacious. The room is clean and filled with all the necessary facilities, I would like to notice very good toiletries, usually in most middle-price hotels shampoo and body lotion are not of the best quality. The bed with very comfy, with the choice of big and small pillows. Breakfast was good, you can ask to cook eggs in the style you prefer. And last but not least - the hotel staff was just amazing! Helped me with a lot of issues, even those which are not the hotel's responsibility. Martina, thank you a lot for everything! :) I did feel at home here, certainly be back.

It was clean, quite, close enough (~10min walking distance) to centre but not in it. There is an open parking space with pebbles which is in the “garden” of the hotel, so you have easy and fast access to the car from the room. We loved that our large dog was welcome. We had more privacy then in a “standard” hotel. Check in, check out was fast and easy although we arrived late and left early.

The double bed was not “looked”. So it was basically two single beds. The room was smaller then the feel you get from the pictures - but it still had plenty of space. We had no chance to taste the breakfast, so we can’t comment on that.

We had to cross 2 borders prior to our arrival, which led to a delay of 2 hrs after the check-in time. The staff kindly left the gate to the parking and the reception unlocked. We found the key for our room on the counter. There was no note left but after 5 mins we figured that it's our key. We just filled up the registration form and headed to our room. In the morning at the check out we were met by a friendly face. It's easy to find and there is free parking.

Very good noise isolation Friendly staff Cleanliness Location is 1 kilometer from the train station. It is also 1 kilometer from the bus station and Arkad Mall.

The air conditioner in room number 6 has a very bright green light that flashes profusely when all lights in the room are switched off. The only way I was able to sleep is by turning on the bed side light (so the green light on the air conditioner stops flashing at maximum capacity) and covering it with the curtain to reduce the brightness in the room.

The girl at the reception was very polite and breakfast was quite adequate. The room was very nice and specious. Safe parking. Nice looking hotel in general with a lot of potential to have more than 9 rating.

Cleaniness was at a surface level. The kettle was horrible!! Mattresses did not have a cover, just a straight sheet on. No face towels, just one body towel per person. No amenities what so ever. Not even a bottle of water. Joke of the day was the "safe" deposit box. It was not mounted anywhere 🤣

Clean room. A large wardrobe and shelves for storing clothes and other things. Nice bathroom. Free parking.

The location is not perfect, especially if you are with children. Almost 20 minutes walk to the center, and much longer with children. The safe was not functional.

This time we didn´t want a breakfast, but last time we had it was very good. We like the calm clean place, high quality comfortable bed and bed linen, clean white towels. We nappreciate also the closed parking lot and closeness to the center.

The problem was the bathroom door, which was difficult to open or close - apparently were swollen from the shower water. Since we were staying only for one night, we didn't deal with it that way.
