Great view of Akureyri. Very helpful and friendly staff.

It is difficult to fully capture the incredible location and the amazing design of this guesthouse. It is located on the hill looking out onto the city and scenery on the opposite side of the bay. Each room is very modern and comfortable. The wall facing the city was floor-to ceiling windows with a glass door that opened out onto a little patio with chairs, to have a 180-degree view. The breakfast room was glass on two sides, allowing for an incredible view of the city. Breakfast was wonderful - including homemade pastries and Iceland's famous smoked lamb. The proprietor and his wife live in an attached apartment, and he was very helpful and informative about places to see and where to eat in Akureyri.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Lovely spacious rooms with fantastic views over the valley below. The rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was quite simple but will presented and of good quality. The owner was very helpful with information about the area and places to eat. There was a small but comfortable lounge area just off the dining room.

The price for having such a wonderful view was that we had to drive back into town in the evening to get dinner. You had to go outside to get from the bedrooms to the dining room. With Icelandic weather you could get wet very quickly.

The owner was quick and quite kind. The property itself was much larger than expected and very quiet and the view of the city from our room at night was beautiful. The beds were some of the comfiest we had experience in all of Iceland. The breakfast was very nice with a decent amount of selection for a small hotel. Overall a must stay. We will be coming back next year!

Nothing honestly. Everything was great

Pleasantly surprised by how nice this small hotel was. Our room was updated and clean. It had a great balcony with view of downtown, the harbor and mountains. Enjoyed the sunset. The owner is very nice and welcoming. The hotel is 6 yrs old but looks new. Had a nice continental breakfast. This was one of our favorite hotels on our drive around the ring road. Very quiet with quick 5 min drive to downtown for dinner where we could see the hotel on the mountain.

Location is amazing. The host of the property was friendly and made us feel welcome. It is a small hotel, clean and the beds were super comfy. Also the room was warm when we arrived which I loved after being in and out of the cold all day.

This property was advertised well. No surprises.

Room was spacious and the view was unbelievable! I mean, just spectacular. We loved the huge picture window and having a balcony to take panoramic pics was wonderful. Short (5min) drive to the town, and the reception folks were wonderful. We had a delightful stay!

Everything was lovely!

Large rooms, extremely clean. Very tasty breakfast. During our stay, we have visited 5 hotels and this one is definitely the best. In Iceland, there are 2 types of hotels: 1. Run by owners from Iceland where each detail is perfectly handled. 2. Run by foreigners with limited dedication, as it is just a temporary job. This hotel belongs to first category.

Fabulous view, overlooking Akureyri. A little tricky to find the first time, across the water and up a winding road, but worth the drive! Close to airport. New and very comfortable, near the Forest Lagoon geothermal baths.

Nothing! Highly recommend!

The hotel is placed on the hill viewing directly to the Fjord of Akureyri. The rooms has very big windows and you can view the planes landing and leaving on the airport. The breakfast was very good and a lot of parking spaces
