Spent one night here to be close to the Taj for sunrise. Nothing to do with the accommodation but Taj at sunrise is not what it used to be! We had a much better time close to sunset where it is more locals there. It has become something I did not like in the morning time - watching oberoi guests get exclusive photo shoots where guards are putting bollards up is just not a vibe. Back to the hotel - the location is exactly what you would need it’s a very short walk away to the Taj Mahal. The entrance and team are very friendly. It’s in a lively place yet it was so quiet to get some decent rest. There are TV channels a plenty and it was really spacious.

The air con was a little dated we needed to put it in power mode and not change any settings to keep it on - however it worked so no complaints here!

Location was great and staff was super helpful.

The table linens were very dirty when we sat down and the main bathrooms are a little stinky.

beds sheets need to be more clean and they need to create more ambience near the pool. they need to put comfortable chairs and towels near the pool no matter what weather it is, coz people from all over the world travel and have different adventure requirements

Hotel Atulyaa Taj is the perfect place to stay when visiting Agra. The kindness and hospitality of the Hotel Atulyaa Taj staff made my stay in Agra a great experience, one which I will never forget. Located within walking distance of the Taj Mahal, makes this an ideal location to visit this iconic monument. My room was large, very clean with satellite TV, fridge and coffee and tea making facilities. The roof top terrace with pool and restaurant provided an excellent place to have dinner or just to get away and relax away from the busy streets below. The restaurant dinner menu is extensive and of very high quality. My waiter Susheel provided excellent service and made me feel very welcomed during my stay. If you are planning to visit Agra and the Taj mahal, Hotel Atulyaa Taj is the ideal place to stay for couples, families and the single traveler. This hotel gets a well-deserved 10/10

The Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, the hotel was really nice and was brilliant value for money. The Food and Service was also really good, I would definitely stay at this place if i returned to Agra.

Downsides, The shower water spilled in to the rest of the bathroom, the drainage didn't seem to be up to standard. We also went to the rooftop pool to relax, and three young lads came up and started splashing and cannonballing into the pool and making a loads of noise which kind of ruined the option for a relax. ( I appreciate this is not a reflection on the hotel but the guests)

The location was excellent, staff was friendly, nice viewpoint from the terrace to see the taj. Room was spacious, had all basic amenities. Food was good. Service was prompt, and everyone had a smile, including the guard outside.

The terrace viewpoint had a loose carpet which was slippery, could be a potential hazard. The terrace lighting was so bright that we could barely see the taj. Room cleaning was done only after request. The flush was leaking.

Well, I moved here from another hotel because I just needed the pool in the Indian heat. Unfortunately just 1 night but was very impressed with the professionalism of all staff, the waiters were incredibly friendly and it was nice to speak to them being English they were genuinely interested in chatting to me. Something I am not used to since being in India is people who just want to chat rather con me.

Very nice location, with a view of the Taj Mahal and a rooftop pool. Clean, spacious rooms and very nice vibe of the hotel. The staff at the reception was very helpful.

The pool was dirty, and the pool staff was really annoying trying to sell you a beer every two minutes. Poor breakfast with non-existent choice.

Good breakfast, a swimming pool, very good location, just a few minutes from Taj Mahal complex. Restaurant with good opening hours.

The hotel has a swimming pool on the top floor, but for incomprehensible reasons, there are no sunbeds. We did not get the sunbeds, even after repeated requests. I still don't know if the employee didn't understand me or if they simply didn't have them.

The location of the hotel is amazing if you are going for Taj mahal visit as it is just 5 mins walk away from the eastern gate. The hotel is great for 1-2 nights stay as it provides all necessary amenities. The breakfast is average and the small convenient shops outside help for the other necessary things throughout the day.

The furnitures and bathroom fittings are quite old. Overall I felt it was pretty expensive for 1 night stay (breakfast had to be paid seperate) compared to the ambience and amenities we got.
