Location was good and the terrace pool was good to swim in. The hotel restaurant staff were wonderful.

The hotel’s promotional photos showing the Taj Mahal are very misleading. As there are telephone towers in real life but not in the photos. It is also much further away (see actual picture in this review). Some days you can’t see the Taj Mahal at all due to the heavy air pollution. The hotel is quite tired and could do with some serious maintenance. A lot of staff on the terrace pool deck doing nothing and could be helpful in getting people towels and being helpful. Drinks prices on the Terrace are almost double those of the Liquid Lounge.

The reception on entering the hotel was lovely. Friendly, welcoming staff. Location is spot on, within walking distance to the Taj Mahal. Our suite room was comfortable and cleaned beautifully by Nikita and her housekeeping team. Ample choice for breakfast and dinner. The catering team, in particular Vijay, Harendra and Krishan, were welcoming and friendly. The gym facility is good. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the pools. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The changing facilities for the gym/pool could have been cleaner. Perhaps we just saw it at a bad time of the day, it felt a little grotty. This doesn't detract from the overall positive experience we had during our stay.

We selected this hotel for the position and the services and overall we remain pretty satisfied. Breakfast and dinner (a la carte and with buffet) have been very good and with a great variety and international food selection. We enjoyed also the Xmas Dinner at Buffet Formula with an incredible variety and music as entrateinment... very nice!! Building and Rooms not recently renovated but in good conditions... Hotel, Room, Elevator and the overall building is not new and renovated. Also the SPA with sauna and other facilities need an improvment and a renovation. We didn't like them.

When you come to Taj, you expect certain level of service. It is given that rooms, corridors, reception, breakfast will have very high degree of cleanliness, service, decor / experience as well as usual service that you do expect from Indian 5 - 7 star hotels. The most I liked were the people. Every member of Taj staff was very courteous and friendly. It felt like they feel proud to be part of Taj brand and take pride in the notion of "India". This is very evident. Every interaction was deeply personal. Be it the staff like Hemant who assisted in checkin, Omveer and Rajat who took care of not only housekeeping but also small touch like giving some extra water bottles on our way back. These extremely small things but it showed they really cared. In one of the interactions, one of the staff said - "Jai Hind sir". It really touched me. Subrata Bhattacharya hosted us in Noor e Taj show along with his singing. In evening, there were two people with Santoor and Tabla. They really play very well. Sorry, I did not ask their names but they are good. Everyone of the staff made our day. The food in Dawat - E - Nawab was fabulous.

Coffee and Tea in room with small kettle would have been nice.

I loved their hospitality,starting from first check inn was very smooth and they offered tea and biscuits,than rooms were very big and washroom were big too,rooms had every emnities,I loved their welcoming taj mahal cake when entering room,this hotel had pool table,kids play ground and table tennis,it has 2 swimming pool with infinity pool,their is also musical night at top floor,you should definitely dine at top floor their food is very delicious,they have many varieties in breakfast. Their hospitality made me feel I m at my home,will definitely recommend this hotel when in Agra and will definitely come back again

It is a very nice business hotel, with all the typical facilities and level of service that you would expect. I went as a tourist and it work great! Location is very nice, just a 20' walk to Taj Mahal

This is a true 5 star hotel. The location is perfect, with Taj at a distance of 1.5 kms and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our 2 days stay at the property. There are couple of pools. The roof top pool, infinity pool, is very good and has view of taj mahal. The property is child friendly and our kids enjoyed the stay. The roof top pool was 3-4 feet deep and hence at right depth for kids. The puppet show was riveting for kids. The kids room was also well maintained. The breakfast and dinner were well spread with variety of cuisines to satisfy your pallet. 4th floor room has access to Taj lounge which serves alcoholic beverage and light snacks in the evening. Everyone was hospitable. Right from the main gate to car valet to front desk to restaurant staff, everyone was courteous and well behaved. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to everyone.

The staff were very courteous and polite. Mr. Vikas from in-room services, Ms. Kimi from the kids' zone, chef who went out of his way to get a brownie for my 4 year 6 everyone at the concierge, including welcome staff, were extremely helpful and courteous. The property was quite close to Taj mahal. The amenities were quite well maintained. My son enjoyed the in-house puppet show and pottery making. Highly recommend this property.

The breakfast quality could be better. The bathroom flooded after shower due to poor drainage. Though, it was quickly cleaned by the staff on request.

Everything from location to property itself, its rooms, meals, its staff almost everything was excellent. Special mention to the very impressive hospitality by Palato restaurant's manager. The food especially South Indian cuisine was very tasty. The top floor Sky Lounge had a pool overlooking Taj. It is really a sight to behold. Nearby attraction is Taj Mahal itself (about 1 km from the property) and Taj Nature Walk, a serene forest park for nature lovers (about 5oo meters). This would was my first but stay at this hotel and with my overall experience, I would be staying here again.

Bed and pillows were too soft.
