Lovely staff and a really nice clean room and also good value for money.

Lovely modern hotel close to the Taj. Good view of the Taj from rooftop terrace bar, though not super close. Rooms are fairly standard size and facilities. Some have the Taj view, though ours did not. Pool is lovely, and gardens quite big with monkeys in the trees. Main restaurant is a buffet, but you can order a la carte as well. The staff are great. Very nice gulab jamun and raas malai deserts. Giving new customers a bindi on arrival is a nice touch.

Not much of a traditional atmosphere compared to heritage hotels, but a really good option to visit the Taj in Agra.

The hotel has very nice rooms, clean and we have been given a free update to a bigger one that has been very much appreciated. Overall look of the hotel is quite classy and the staff maybe a bit reverential (I must say me and my girlfriend are more used to backpacking and thus this maybe just our feeling) but so so much nice, helpful, clear and kind. We even decided to benefit from SPA massages which maybe are a bit expensive for India (even for a 5 stars hotel) but have been amazingly relaxing and needed after 10 days of wandering around. The restaurant level was also very good and the menu various and complete.

To be honest we can’t say there is something we didn’t like, the level is very very high. Maybe we could suggest as a mere improvement to extend Spa services to something more than only massages (internal jacuzzi, sauna, etc.) and to include bathrobes in the rooms.

Huge, comfy bed. Sweets platter on arrival, plus water and tea making facilities in our rooms. Large shower and bathroom area. My room didn't have a Taj view, but instead had a lovely view over the gardens and pool. It was quiet and cool and so clean. The food was wonderful, delicious breakfast, and a very reasonably priced evening meal. All correspondence before our stay was efficiently and promptly answered. The staff were delightful and there were comfortable places to sit in a spacious lobby, plus a selection of shops inside the hotel. We couldn't have been happier.

The hotel dogs were delightful especially Maya. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Their onsite Mughal restaurant food is amazing. And on the rooftop bar Amit and Mukesh are very welcoming and attentive.

Trying to exchange currency is challenging, the staff were not very helpful on our first time trying to exchange. There is a 100 limit in a day but not clear if this refers to dollars, pounds or euros. On the second exchange it was a lot smoother because we knew what we were doing but again would have been easier doing it in one go rather than over two days.

Very welcoming and friendly staff got us checked in early with no issues. Room a good size with a massive comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a safe. Outdoor pool and garden clean and well maintained. Also it’s surprisingly calm and quiet out there considering how crazy the road is just in front of the hotel (any road on Agra). Small simple roof terrace has decent views of the Taj Mahal assuming the smog isn’t too bad. Breakfast and dinner both tasty with lots of Indian and international options.

Food and drinks are a little expensive but quality was good.

We loved each bit of our stay right from our comfortable clean and neat rooms in ihcl selqtions 404 and 405 and one executive 406 rooms ...and awsome veiw of taj mahal sky dec veiw amazing. Its close proximity of Taj Mahal and Agra fort is a great advantage. Doesn’t have a crowded feel even though it was peak tourist season and appeared to be heavily booked. In the evening and some mornings there is live music and puppeteers and artisans displaying their skills and goods. Overall, I will add it to one of my best hotel short stays. The hotel dogs, Maya and Max are adorable.

Nothing in particular but a little bit more of continental variety during breakfast would have been welcome.

Great Ambience, aesthetically maintained, good location, mouthwatering breakfast, comfortable rooms with view of Taj Mahal from window and so many things. Highly recommended. Furthermore, I would like to specifically mention the name of Mr. Rashid who was our tour guide for Taj Mahal, Agra fort and Fatehpur Sikri. He was amazing and would strongly recommend for anyone looking for a English speaking guide. Me and my spouse was was very impressed and my kids were very happy. In a nutshell, the hotel and the facilities were above my expectations. Though it was costly but I would still go there next time if I visit Agra again.

Expensive but I agree that it's worth it

F&b manager madan has inspired his team to make guests extremely comfortable with personal touch not seen in a long time and when we met mr kaushal G M of taj view , a person highly passionate about taj property and staff we understood the reason for such motivated service, though we feel Booking.com has made reservations but upgrade by hotel manager ms ankita senger could have been more competitive as we booked the property for 9 people but we were only 8 people checked in , on this issue we would also communicate with booking.com and hotel again but despite price issue stay was a memorable experience thanks our family conveys thanks to mr pankaj Saxena,D majumdar,k p verma,muneesh ,parida,amit,anil,priyank,Ramesh jha,s n yadav,gagan nagpal and bell boy raju and jeeva spa s mr narayan See you soon
