We came into Agra for one night to visit the Taj Mahal and were running late so we went straight to the Taj before it closed. My daughter was not feeling well so I went back with her to the Trident. The Trident not only checked her in quickly, but they told me to go back and see the Taj Mahal- "they would take care of her". The staff not only escorted my daughter to her room, but they got her tea service and hot a water bottle-making sure she was o.k. before they left. Then when we decided we needed her to see a doctor, they got one for us right away. AND our other daughter had just celebrated her engagement. We had told the hotel that we were celebrating an engagement but not whose it was in our party of 12. They figured it out and left a "congratulations" chocolate cake with rose petals on her bed as a surprise. The staff were incredible - would highly recommend.

The shower was a bathtub shower that was difficult for my mother-in-law to get in and out of. Dining room could have dimmed the lights a bit at night for better ambiance. Everything else was excellent.

During my travels across various hotels, I have rarely encountered such exceptional hospitality as at the Trident in Agra, a standout experience particularly in India. We had a three-night stay in their clean and spacious rooms. The room service was prompt and attentive, reflecting their meticulous attention to detail in every aspect. The culinary experience was a highlight, with food and cocktails that were nothing short of excellent. The restaurant offered a delightful taste of India. While prices were above average for India, they were justified by the quality and service. What touched us most was the personalized care in helping us navigate Agra and Indian culture. The skilled drivers arranged by the hotel drove impeccably clean and spacious vehicles, adding comfort to our travels. Additionally, our transport to a nearby hotel for a wedding was conveniently arranged without any additional fee, a gesture we greatly appreciated. In conclusion, I highly recommend staying at the Trident in Agra without hesitation. For those looking to indulge further, the Oberoi is also a splendid choice.

hospitality , amenities for kids and the vibe . especially Apeksha, Mahak at the reception . Sita at the play area we’re totally very kind and hospitable in their services .

buffet options could have been more elaborated , like more of continental or multi cuisine options , would have made it better.

Amazing location (10 min from Taj Mahal), Good value for money, Amazing guest service, beautiful facility, comfortable rooms. Very kids friendly- they had puppet shows and magic shows etc for kids. One of the best guest service we have experienced.

Nothing to dislike at all

On a very cold day on Agra in January '24, I arrived at the Trident and was delighted that the hotel was warm and my room was toasty. Everything was perfect. The staff were wonderful (I'd even say a tad over enthusiastic!). Dinner was delicious - I stuck to vegetable fried rice (as I had decided to avoid meat during my holiday to India), it was delicious. Reception were incredibly helpful with exchanging currency for me. The rate was very good and avoided the need to go to a bank - I had no luck with ATMs, they didn't work for me. Fortunately I had GBPs with me and the hotel were happy to exchange. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Agra.

The check-in was smooth and they ensured or 2 rooms were next to each other as requested. Excellent check-in service and host and they allowed us to check in early! The restaurant was very prompt to prepare our meals and serve us post an overnight train ride as we were famished. Great food options and taste. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with daily turn down service. The staff serve with warmth and genuine care and attention to guests. Tour guide arrangement was excellent by Trident travel desk.

The only down-side is the training and the capability of the new restaurant staff. They are not ready to handle the peak breakfast and dinner crowds. They need more training to get them up to speed and to get more in line with the other staff at the Trident.

Great location, only 10mins from Taj Mahal east gate. Clean grounds, not a very big property, but lots of amenities. They have a large playground, kitchen garden, kids play area, indoor gardens, pool, sports facilities and comfortable rooms. The staff truly is exceptional, I've stayed in plenty of 5 stars by now and while the hotel infra was just as good as others, the individualised attention, customised services and overall focus on making our stay pleasurable is exceptional. In the evening they run magic show, balloon making, henna, pottery, puppet show etc for kids and families and with 2 small kids we had a delightful stay. The manager Harshit was very helpful as we were able to extend our stay in our preferred room and he facilitated it all. Special thanks to Vikrant in the restaurant, Hema at the reception and Harshit for making our visit memorable. Would 100% visit again.

Room sizes for the price were a bit small

The location was on the main road , not far from fort or Taj Mahal. The rooms were very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helping . They could do slightly better with food. The portion size of pasta ordered was very less and evening dinner wasn’t great for the price , the fish curry also ran out, which is unexpectable. But overall a very good experience. They also made specially breakfast for us as we arrived late for breakfast but they were very accommodating.

Comfortable and clean rooms; decent restaurant with a range of buffet/ a la carte options and close (5-10 mins drive) to the Taj Mahal site, making an early start more bearable. Pool was big enough to do laps and well maintained. We took the Trident signature massage which was excellent. Range of fun evening activities for free including pottery, palmistry and puppet show, which were discreetly tucked into different corners of the ground. The standout asset is the staff - they were really kind and attentive, fixing us guides and cars to monuments and nearby bird sanctuaries - and keeping my phone safe when I left it on a sunlounger. I'd definitely return again if I take other visitors to Agra.

Very minor point but the pool side menu was not as good as it sounded and took ages to arrive. The satay sauce was red thai curry obviously left over from the kitchen; nachos had no sour cream or guacamole and the veg quesadillas used the same bean filling as the nachos.

Outstanding Experience: My stay was from 11-Feb till 15-Feb. The hospitality of the staff is outstanding. They make sure you feel at home from the point you deboard your vehicle and that includes the Durbaan Saahab. The check-in process was very smooth. The welcome drink in that huge lobby with all that natural Sunlight is just excellent. We selected the Garden facing room and it was a great choice with peacocks, sparrows, parrots and a host of other birds roaming & hopping around right outside the room window. The house-keeping staff is amazing, apart from the usual daily room cleaning they again check in the evening if you need something. Food was great, the restaurant staff makes sure that you are busy munching even when you are waiting for your food. Concierge desk is super-efficient, cab booked within a minute with rates clearly explained. The upkeep of the entire property is excellent, the greenery and the plantations are awesome. Lot of places to click pictures. Special mention and shout-out to Mehak at the Front-desk and Mishra Ji and Roshan Ji in the restaurant in making our stay very special.
