The hotel parking is within the compound, able to park throughout my stay. Hotel room is neat and clean. Good and fast service. Morning breakfast is excellent with north, south and western foods. Had a nice stay. Have buffet for dinner in ground floor, with decent starters and main course.

The hotel window was sealed so couldn't open for ventilation. Parking is little congested but with driving skills and help from watchman you can park. Should improve the buffet menu for dinner. Also the 4th floor has another restaurant which you can enjoy if you are seafood lover but it's little bit costly for us, so didn't go there. Currently there are more bridge work is going on around, so you had to make U-turn many times to go out and return back. Also you have to catch the service road to reach the hotel and it is narrow with people walking. But if we drive slow we can reach the hotel without any issue.

Size of the room

Staff is clueless and careless..hot was not there for stay of seven days neither staff and manager bothered to recheck even after complaint. Bread toaster not working.. breakfast you don't have that much of variety. The kitchen staffs on the 4th floor are shouting and barking at the night like a circus... you need to inform the reception repeatedly. Overall promptness and customer service needs improvement.

Very clean rooms, friendly and kind staff! It was a no nonsense stay for me. I had everything I needed. You may find the rooms a little smaller than expected but they are very comfortable and cozy and super clean as well. I always worry about toilets so I was glad it was sparkly clean at this hotel. Right from the security guard at the gate, the reception and waiting staff, everyone was kind.After an intense field trip for work, I had my best sleep in this hotel! Felt safe as a solo woman too so I would recommend it all the more!

Very good business hotel. Good location. Hotel staff was helpful. Room was clean and spacious with all business amenities present. Special mention of following staff members: Front desk - Avira, Frederick F&B - Vikas Highlight is the restaurant ‘Fisherman’s Wharf’ located in the top floor of the hotel. Food is exceptional and the seafood is recommended. Staff is very efficient with a special mention of Chef Farid and his team Gopinath, George, Pooja, Kiran and Ratnadeep.

We liked the cleanliness and size of the room. Bed sheets and towels were spotless, commode was sparkling white sans any issues, hot water was available throughout. Buffet menu was good, kids will love it and that's one of the main reason we extended our stay instead of going back to our regular hotel. I had the covered parking throughout my stay. Reception staff were courteous and accommodated our requests with grace.

We got the corner room facing road, so traffic sound was creeping into the room and during midnight , it was disturbing my sleep, noise insulation could have been better. Though the buffet breakfast menu was very good, taste could be improved on pastry section. Bathroom water was mildly salty.

Value for Money, Good spread of Breakfast and Dinner for the right price. Staff are very friendly and helpful including the Room service staff. Given, I have to work remote during my stay, the front office team organised a Special Executive Chair for my room going extra mile. Thanks to the (Jawahar) Room service team organising Coffee at 5:30 AM every day

I stayed for 11 nights on a personal trip to Chennai. My stay was very pleasant. The service was top notch, and the staff were courteous and prompt, attending to every need I had. Since I also needed to work remotely a few late evenings and nights, reliable Wi-Fi was essential, and Essentia did not disappoint. It took a couple of hours upon check-in, but once set up, my Wi-Fi connection was stable for the entire duration of my stay. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and so was the dinner room service. Thank you! A note though: Google Maps (as did Uber) showed two Essentia Premier hotels -- one at Rajiv Gandhi Salai, and another one few kilometers south at Old Mahabalipuram road, which is a dead end. I took an Uber to the wrong address at 71/2 OMR, and had to retrace my path back to the one at 71/2 Rajiv Gandhi Salai. I've suggested the edit on Google Maps and hope it gets fixed.

The staff is very polite and accommodating, made the checkin process hassle free. The hotel itself is on-par with an Ibis/Fairfield Mariott/any other business class hotel in terms of the infrastructure and amenities, at a lower price point. The breakfast spread is very generous. The room was very well equipped and comfortable.

There was a church right next to my room that had sunday mass starting 6:30AM and it just broke the silence and I was forced to be awake. I am aware that there is not much the hotel can do, but I wish I knew that so that I could have requested for a different room.

The experience with refund of amount for one night due to early check out was not handled professionally. I had informed a day in advance that I will be checking out next day morning and staff was supposed to get back to me on the process of early checkout. The staff never got back and at time of checkout I had to waste a lot of time in the process. Refund is still not received after 4 days of checkout.
