Excellent Hotel. Good cleanliness, nice and clean rooms, excellent size. Really excellent breakfast buffet, as well as lunch and dinner (both buffet). Lots of attention to specified food allergies and intolerances excellent coffee (Italian) Perfect internet. Presence of swimming pool and gym super recommended and I would definitely return

Nothing in particular. On a negative note, I was on a business trip with colleagues who were staying on different floors from mine and I couldn't access them, each guest can only access their own floor by activating the elevator with the room key

Breakfast was excellent but personally I felt the location of the hotel is too far. That's the only drawback but remaining things were superb like the quality of food and swimming pool and cleanliness is good. The responsiveness of the staff is exceptional.

I booked through Booking.com I was not aware that the booking.com has already deducted my amount towards the room charges. Hotel people collected full amount. I called to the booking.com to refund my amount which was deducted. But they told me that it was considered as No Show hence my money was deducted. But finally I did not received my money.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The breakfast offered was a definite highlight and is a must-try. The swimming pool and gym facilities were outstanding and well-maintained, allowing for a refreshing and enjoyable experience. I want to extend a huge thanks to Mr. Iyer and Mr. Vishal for going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The bar provided a variety of options, although I was slightly disappointed by the staff's reluctance to allow me to enjoy my drink next to the pool seating area after midnight. Nonetheless, it was still manageable.

I had a wonderful experience staying at your hotel with my family for one night. Both dinner and breakfast were delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We found less convenient was its distance from ECR (East Coast Road). It would have been more convenient for us if the hotel were closer to ECR

The friendly staff (Mr Vishnu & Mr Dinesh) at the reception greeted me with a warm welcome smile and were efficient in allocating my room & key. I really appreciated the speed especially after a long 21 hrs+ flight from Toronto, Canada. At breakfast the every morning the spread was sumptuous & yummy. Room cleanliness was good & neat. Wifi signal too was good.

The location is a bit remote (I may be wrong) but it suited my convenience. The access road was very busy, noisy and dirty. But I guess that’s the way it is. 🤔

Novotel Chennai is the must-stay hotel in Chennai. The location is ideal for visiting the Mahabalipuram temples in the South as well as the city, whilst being slightly away from the hustle and bustle. The facilities are exquisite - we stayed in a base room as well as a suite and both were clean and quiet with comfortable as well as functional layouts. The breakfast has a wide variety of choice and all the food was of high quality. The only small comment I would give here is that the cleaning and re-setting of tables after people leave should be more thorough. The thing that makes this place 5 star plus is the staff who are all extremely nice people, friendly and who (successfully) went above and beyond to make our stay 5-star. A special thanks to Vishal and Sai Nikhil who took wonderful care of us and made sure we started and ended every day with a smile!

The breakfast spread was complimentary yet filled with several options including fruits, salads, south indian, continental, juices, indian etc. The dishes were all fresh made and the chefs were open to any customization requests we had. I was traveling with my mother who needed Jain food and the chefs addressed our requirement. The hotel was clean and the restaurant area was spacious. We requested for an extra bed and it was equally comfortable as the main bed in the room. It was indeed a value for money stay.

The service could have been better. The staff at restaurant were cordial, well trained and polite but not very prompt except a few. After a request, had to follow up several times.

Pleasant stay. The room size is average but it is very well maintained and staff is very keen to clean it every day and refill supplies properly. They are very generous on mineral water bottles supplies when most of the other hotels charge for this basic necessity. Very good restaurant and preferred to have dinner here for the entire duration of our stay. Breakfast options were excellent. The chef personally ensured to talk to us and get feedback about what we would like on the menu. The check in and check out experience was great as well and it seems every single member of the staff here are very professional and a good indicator of how the hospitality should be.

The thermostat seemed to prefer a much colder setting in the room. 24C seems like 20C. Did not bother us though so didn't complain. Nothing else apart from this, not even anything minor.

The hotel gave us a 5 star treatment in our medical visit to Chennai. The staff was very supportive, from Vishal who gave us a warm welcome to the waitresses who always played with our baby and always went beyond to help us. I want to thank especially Manisha, Mubin, Sakun, Nidih and Saneed

Chennai is hot! So we were 24/7 in an air conditioned room. It was cold at times but maybe it’s because we are not used to the high tech thermostat

The breakfast was the only thing that wasn’t spectacular. The staff were lovely, but the food taste was just subpar, and definitely depleted if you didn’t arrive early enough. The pool was so nice though, and Mana, the security staff at the pool was awesome and so kind to our kids. We also loved Vishal at the front desk, when we arrived at 2 am he was so helpful and patient with us! It was the perfect location, out of the city bustle but the city was very reachable. We would definitely stay again!
