The location was fantastic, Staff was in general very kind and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The toilet was dirty but we asked them to clean it and they did it immediately. Breakfast was correct, saying that, I would not pay for it if I am asked to do so.

The facilities, in general, appear quite dated and somewhat unclean. It would be relatively simple to maintain cleanliness; The elevator needs an upgrade as well. Since it must be manually closed, improper operation can result in it getting stuck on the last floor it visited. While this may not be an issue if you don't have luggage, it can become inconvenient if you do. You'll need to go to the floor where the elevator is stuck and ensure the door is properly closed.

The location was fantastic for walking and exploring. 5 minutes to the waterside. 10 minutes to the night shopping street. The staff were all very helpful and readily available. Breakfast was plentiful. A newspaper and fresh bottled water each day. I was more than happy! What a fabulous introduction to India for me.

The hotel is in two parts. One uses an old gate-style elevator, a little small and claustrophobic for my liking. However the same side can be accessed by using one of two elevators and then a short walk through a connecting corridor. It worked well.

The staff were extremely helpful. I only had larger notes and they swapped for smaller denominations, even finding the crisper newer one which I hadn’t asked them to. They also helped print my boarding pass for my onward trip and ordered me an Uber to get me to the airport on time. Excellent staff.

Breakfast was 7:30 - 10 and that area opened a little late on the morning I was checking out. Not a massive negative, but timings are crucial when your going by an itinerary.

Room was warm and the AC took a long time to bring it down to comfortable levels. Rooms show some signs of age

The staff were polite and well-trained. As for the breakfast, both the Indian cuisine and the Western cuisine are good! I loved Upma and Missar! And bananas and yoghurt are perfect for tourists to keep their health fine.

As I stayed in the monsoon season, I felt a bit of humidity in the room, but it was okay. The location was good! Just behind the Taj Mahal Hotel!!! The Starbucks is located in front of the hotel.

The location is ideal for seeing South Bombay. The staff is friendly and helpful. We are traveling with a baby and they all took an interest in her.

It could use a new coat of paint to spruce up the place

The hotel staff was very cooperative and always helped us with anything and everything we wanted. This is unbelievable in today's world that they go beyond their duty to help their guests to make their stay comfortable at their premises.

The property is old but still well maintained. They are going under renovation, maybe after which it will be much better. And definitely we will be back soon.

if you are sensitive to noise, its located next to a club / bar so you can hear the music at night. apart from that, everything was great!
