We arrived Rosslare Ferry Port and after 20 minute ride, arrived at the Hotel. Initially entered tiny room to find only one bed!! Panic ensued however a door to the right led into the main bedroom. Room was spotless, had everything we required. Extremely comfy beds with plenty of sockets for the "essential" charging of stuff. The room was nice and quiet (we faced the rear) and had a great nights sleep. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and the meal was exemplary. It was busy but service was quick and came with a smile. I had the largest and tastiest Irish T-Bone in my life and the wife thought the crispy chilli chicken was "absolutely Marvellous Darling". Coupled by our first proper pints of Guinness, an excellent start to our holiday. Furnished the following morning with a Full Irish Breakfast, this set us on our way. Overall, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I would strongly recommend the Farmer's Kitchen if your ever in the area.

Nothing really. Don't like looking for petty faults. All was great.

The facilities were lovely and very clean. We especially liked the restaurant that was housed in the entrance of the hotel. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant and the food was wonderful. Breakfast was included with our reservation and we had breakfast in the same restaurant. It was served by a waiter, which surprised us, and it was delicious. There was a menu to select your breakfast.

Really can't think of anything that could have been better. The location was okay but there was really nothing in the immediate area to visit.

Food was excellent.Staff were friendly & yet very thorough in carrying out special requests..well trained staff is evident and ongoing as we observed wt young staff and their mentors.Well done to all concerned

First person on reception was very helpful and welcoming. Nxt morn as we passed reception , we sed 'good morning to another receptionist but barely got a response. The same happened nxt morn..but ovetall the dining room staff and the cleaning staff were very pleasant indeed..all othet aspects of our visit were very enjoyable.

The rooms were clean and comfy and the staff were amazing...friendly, helpful and nothing was a bother. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and, as a Coeliac, I was impressed with their range of gluten free foods. If staff didn't know if something had gluten in it, they always went away and asked. Because there was no lift our bags were brought up to our room. Highly recommend a stay here

Other than the carpet needing to be replaced in the bedroom and the hallway, there was nothing I didn't like

This hotel is excellent value for money. I got a very reasonable rate for B&B single occupancy. My room was large with a double and single bed, very nicely furnished and very comfortable. It was also quiet and relaxing as the hotel is located outside the town centre. I had a lovely bathroom with bath and shower and stocked with everything I could need and plenty of towels. Also tea and coffee facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a great night sleep. Unfortunately I didn't get to sample the hotel's highly rated dining but I really enjoyed my freshly cooked Irish breakfast next morning. I have stayed in a fair few overpriced 4 star hotels who could learn a lot from this homely, friendly and very comfortable 3 star. This hotel should be 4 star. I highly recommend it and really appreciated my enjoyable stay, which at one night, was too short. Next time!

Everything was great.

Room was very comfortable and quiet. Restaurant food is excellent - with a wide variety of choice and half portions served if too full. Breakfast is a set menu - would prefer buffet - but I was given exactly what I ordered so no complaints. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again and certainly would eat there again.

Prefer buffet breakfast - but enjoyed what I ordered and staff were very accommodating. There is no lift but stairs are not too steep and only a short flight to the second floor. Help with luggage was also offered.

We had a meal in the hotel on the night we stayed, food was delicious, and staff were very helpful, couldn't have been nicer! It was quiet enough but could imagine it's a busy spot during peak summer season. Room was nice, clean and modern, bed was very comfortable, which is a must obviously! Nice location, close to rosslare for the ferry or beach but also close to Wexford town too.

Not really a negative because staff helped us out in the end but we couldn't find our room, it was easier to get to walking through the function room.

Slept like a log (long day & Guinness helped). Bed was a bit soft for me but that's my opinion (may be ok for others) Room very clean, nice walk in shower, tea making facilities in the room. Ate in the restaurant in the evening, had the oven cooked chicken which was amazing. A full Irish in the morning also hit the spot. All the staff were excellent.

Had a room towards the back of the property near the kitchens, partner had to shut the window around midnight as she could hear the staff putting stuff into the bins and chatting.......I didn't hear them.

Food was very good. We had 1 evening meal and 3 breakfasts. Nice freshly cooked food good portions and tasty. Service was good. I did feel a bit for the new waiter on the last morning who didn't know the difference between scrambled egg and egg benedict, but I am sure he will get there. Public bar friendly and buzzing on nights where sport is on so that was a nice surprise Cinema 5 mins walk is a good thing especially on rainy days

Just a little too far out of town to walk especially with kids. Otherwise for a 3-star hotel it did exactly what it said on the tin Maybe a chill out / playroom for kids would be a good addition as this was lacking

The room was a decent size and the ensuite recently renovated. Good hot water pressure making it a fine start to the day. Good location with only 15min to the Ferry dock for those crossing to Wales. The kitchen provided us with a take away continental breakfast at 6.30am ensuring that we weren't hungry while waiting to board the ferry.

No lift to get to the room so it's 1 flight of stairs up and then 1 down. There is a shortcut through the function room but not always open. The room was quite hot but a fan was provided. Being a courtyard room the window couldn't be left open all night. Winter time wouldn't be problem.
